🐾 About Me Hi, I’m Pam, a passionate animal lover based in Harrow with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets- from dogs and rabbits to farm animals. My journey in animal care began in childhood and has continued through education, volunteering, and work. I previously worked as a Patient Care Assistant at a veterinary clinic, where I learned to recognise early signs of illness, especially urgent symptoms requiring immediate attention. I'm also confident with basic grooming like nail trims and baths, and I hold a full UK driving licence, so transportation is never an issue. 🐶 Experience & Special Interests I tailor walks and care routines to your dog’s breed, age, and energy level, ensuring they get just the right amount of exercise and stimulation. My private garden offers a safe and spacious area for playtime or training sessions. I have a keen interest in dog training and often shared informal advice with owners during my time at the vet clinic. I'm also experienced with rabbit care, having volunteered at a rabbit rescue and being a dedicated rabbit mum myself. 🌟 Why Rover? While I enjoy my current office job, it lacks physical activity and the joy I find when I'm around animals. Joining Rover lets me combine my love for pets with meaningful, active work—and helps me move toward my long-term goal of becoming a certified dog behaviourist. Safety, trust & environment
I have a big house with a garden for playtime. During weekends, I'm fully available to offer my full attention at all times. This includes playtime, walks, and training if needed. I always tailor my care and walks' durations/frequency to specific breeds/characters or overall needs to ensure doggies get enough physical activity. I'm also comfortable with basic grooming like bathing or trimming nails. I have a local vet clinic where I used to work which means I can always seek their help if needed. From my time working at the vet, I gained valuable knowledge of symptoms that need vet attention which means that I can act quickly. I have a full driving licence which means transportation is not an issue if needed. I'm working remotely, during office hours from Monday to Friday, which means I could provide 15-30-minute walks in the morning and early afternoon with a longer walk and play time only after 5:30 PM. Because during my working hours, I may not be able to spend a lot of time playing, therefore weekdays with me would not be suitable for dogs that require special/extensive attention at all times.

Very attentive, spent time playing with my cat each day and built a very good relationship with her. Super helpful and flexible with schedule changes when I had to extend my holiday. Sent detailed daily updates.
Pam was excellent, we booked her to look after our cat and she was very professional and knowledgeable, it was lovely to know that our cat was being well looked after and we really appreciated the thorough updates after each visit - would definitely recommend!

Pamela was brilliant and offered a wonderful service. Pamela kept me updated every day with texts and photos and Cookie was really comfortable with her. Pamela is definitely trustworthy and I will most definitely ask her to look after Cookie again in the future.

We had a great experience with Pamela as our cat sitter. She was incredibly kind and gentle with our kitten, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. She visited exactly as scheduled and was very reliable throughout. It was clear she genuinely cared, and our kitten was happy and well looked after when we returned. Schedule
I'm fully available during weekends and Bank Holidays therefore that is when I can accept most of the requests. I'm working mostly from home, therefore weekdays could also be up for discussion. However, weekdays with me would not be suitable for dogs that require special/extensive attention at all times. Monday to Friday, I could provide 15-30-minute walks in the morning and early afternoon times, and longer walk and play time after 5:30 PM.

- Please, let me know if your dog has any special needs or allergies. I would also like to hear about your dog's personality so I can plan our activities accordingly. It includes information on how your dog behaves around other animals, so I can plan the walking path that your dog would benefit the most. It would be very helpful to know if there are any you would be happy for me to implement some training.
