“Heather put my mind at ease whilst I was away. No issues at all. She was very attentive when she came to meet the cats and asked questions about things I had forgotten to mention. Could tell she had done it before. I am already looking for my next break away , and will be using Heather for sure.”

“Shelley Anne was the perfect sitter. She came to visit me and Honey before to make sure Honey would be happy, and Shelley Anne happy to visit. Shelley Anne knows so much about dogs and dog behaviour so I felt more than comfortable to have her visit. I felt very relaxed knowing Shelley Anne would be visiting and will definitely recommend her.”

“Katie looked after our 15 year old cat Kimmy whilst we were away for three days (Drop in Visits). Katie is an excellent Pet Sitter and highly recommend. Katie really cares about the animals that she looks after and Kimmy warmed to her right away. 5 stars *****”

I am currently at uni but only have a few days of lectures a week and these lectures have big breaks in between so am able to care and look after for your pet with love and attention in that time I have a fenced and an enclosed back garden for your pet to enjoy and feel safe in the environment and I make sure I can see your pets so that I can look after them with the care they deserve in your home as well and make sure they are safe and protected
“Amandeep was a great sitter for my dog. She provided photos and my dog seemed very happy. She was on time and followed all my instructions! I would highly recommend her as a great sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs ever since i was little and still have two dogs now that are very loved and cared for. I love all breads of dogs and am very flexable to work around the owners needs. I am currently studying at brunel university, i only study a few days a week so my days are very flexible and i have a lot of free time to spend with your pets and to give them then love and care they need! I will respect the owners house and privacy when entering their house, unfortunately i cannot have dogs or cats where i am living as currently in student accommodation but in a couple of months i will be moved into a house with a safe and enclosed garden. I am also very organised and clean so nothing is ever left lying around!
“I was travelling to the other side of the world and needed a trusted sitter. As this was the first time I’d left my precious fur baby with a stranger, it felt like a big decision—but it turned out to be a great one. I highly recommend Luby. She is calm, patient, and warm, and truly goes above and beyond to make sure both you and your pet feel cared for. The daily pictures and updates did so much to ease my nerves. There were times I had no connection and worried about my cat being lonely or getting hurt outside (I’m definitely an overthinker!), but receiving those updates during my travels reassured me that my cat was safe and happy. There were even a few small issues at home, and knowing Luby was keeping me informed was a godsend. I left a small tip and will absolutely be using her again in the future. Good pet care is priceless—I’m so grateful ☺️.”

About: I grew up with lots of dogs and always been trusted with full responsibility, have done dog sitting for family, family friends and also people I have worked with. I travelled to Hong Kong lived there and rescued my family dog sherlock, had lots of experience with rescues and strays, farm dogs, family dogs. I’m a freelance makeup artist that works once a month for a week, I have a lot of free time and can have dogs stay with me for longer periods. I have a fully fenced back garden that’s dog proof and has been checked by other dog owners. I grew up in this house we always had dogs round. High fences and very high trees blocking. I have an open kitchen and living rooms that leads into the garden. I also live close to a very good dog walking spot with fields and woods.
About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I’ve had the joy of caring for many of my own over the years, as well as other people’s. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and well-cared for, and I treat every animal as if they were my own. We have a Cockapoo in the family (at my dads home) and my partner has also grew up with three dogs — two Irish Greyhounds and a Jug (a Jack Russell–Pug cross). Between us, we’ve had plenty of hands on experience with a wide range of breeds, temperaments, and energy levels, so we’re just as comfortable with calm, affectionate dogs as we are with playful, high-energy ones. We recently moved into a lovely flat in Gerrards Cross with a secure, sun-facing enclosed balcony. We also have great access to local walks and green spaces.
About: Having grown up in a house full of cats and labradors I have learnt that every furry friend is different with its needs. Since leaving my family home, I regularly dog sit Aioki (Frenchie), Otis (sausage) and Fifi (Ragdoll). I’m currently working part-time and on my own schedule. This allows me to keep a timely manner and get outside for those walks in the sun rays! However I’m not against wearing a good pair of wellies and facing the rain. I live in a flat building, right next to Gerrards Cross common. The building is very safe, animal friendly and a fob is needed to gain entry.
About: I am fairly active so I can provide long walks or jogs with your pet. My local area has gorgeous woods and scenic walking routes. I do live in an apartment but there’s very close access to Gerrards Cross common and surrounding parks. My job allows me to work from home, therefore I can offer constant care for your pet. My schedule is flexible, and I should be able to look after your pet most days. My home is clean, tidy and very bet friendly. I also have air-con to keep your pet comfortable on those warmer days. I’m happy with pets to be cosy on furniture.
About: I’ve been brought up with animals ranging from hamsters and chickens to cats and dogs. I grew up with a puppy and kittens so know how to look after younger animals. Helped with the puppy training & agility classes for our family dog. I’m a full time student-athlete with flexible time slots available to meet your pet needs. Being a rugby player I’m happy to combine fitness around pet exercise. I’ll treat your home with respect, with full care, attention and tidiness, as if it was my own home. I’m also care for your pet as though it is my own.
About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, care, and genuine attention I can give to every pet. Being on maternity leave means I’m home most of the day, so your furry friend will always have supervision, companionship, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I’m very patient and attentive, which makes me confident caring for puppies learning their routines, senior dogs who need a gentler approach, or pets with special needs. Some things that help owners feel confident choosing me: I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, including feeding, walking, and playtime, to reduce stress. I maintain a safe, clean environment at all times, whether in your home or mine. I provide regular photo and message updates so you can see your pet happy and relaxed throughout their stay. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, and I strive to build trust with both pets and their owners. I’m currently on maternity leave and spend most of my time at home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Because I’m home often, pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to welcoming new furry friends and giving them a safe, calm, and caring environment. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I will always provide a calm and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and secure whilst in my care whether they are in their own home or mine. I will take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible (again, regardless of being in my home or their own). In my home - pets will have a safe, clean space to relax aswell as play. They will always be supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In your home - I will respect your space and follow the instructions provided so your pet can stay happy and content within their usual environment. I will stick to their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident with the care being provided.

Your dog’s safety is my top priority, and I’m trained in canine first aid, giving you extra peace of mind while your dog is in my care. I currently have a high level of availability as I am on maternity leave, which allows me to be very flexible when arranging dog walks, drop-in visits, and other pet care services. This flexibility means I can often accommodate a variety of times throughout the day to suit both you and your dog’s routine. From December onwards, when I return to work, I will primarily be offering dog walking services Monday to Thursday. I may also be able to accommodate the occasional Friday where needed, depending on availability. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. I understand that dogs feel most comfortable when their usual schedule is maintained, so I am happy to follow your dog’s regular routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any other care they require. My goal is to make sure your pet feels relaxed, secure, and well looked after while you are away or busy. For convenience, many owners provide access to their home through a spare key or a secure key safe, which allows me to carry out walks or drop-in visits if you are not at home. I treat every home with the utmost respect, ensuring your pet is safe, settled, and cared for just as you would expect.

A content dog makes me happy! I’ll take into account all specific needs/instructions provided by you, while your dog is in my care, whether on a walk or during a visit.
“Chrissy is great; super friendly, very reliable and kindly kept me informed of how my dog was doing throughout the sit in. In each picture she sent, my pup looked like he was having a great time, tail wagging in every picture! Will definitely be enlisting her help again soon. Thank you Chrissy!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
