“Everything worked out perfectly! Pandora was absolutely lovely and our dog had a great time with her and Fidget. Would rate 10/5! Thank you so much for helping us out, Pandora!”

“Absolutely brilliant experience. I couldn't be happier! Kimberley and her partner were so friendly, caring, and made my fur baby feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. I picked up a very happy, relaxed pup who had clearly enjoyed the day. It was so reassuring to know my dog was in such safe and loving hands. I highly recommend Kimberley to anyone looking for reliable, caring dog care. We'll definitely be back!”

“Taika had a great time filled with the company of other dogs which he loves. The booking process was smooth bearing in mind it was made at short notice. Michael responded to all my messages very quickly. He sent me plenty of pictures and updates to let me know how Taika was doing. He built a great rapport with Taika as well which was great to see. I highly recommend him and will use his services in the future.”

“Leonie was absolutely fantastic, extremely organised and quick to respond. She is clearly very experienced with dogs and was very accommodating to ensure our dog was safe and help cope with the heatwave. Elton immediately gave Leonie kisses when he first met her and was evidently very comfortable! Thank you very much!”

“Elana was fantastic with my 2 year old cavalier Benji. We recently moved house so I wanted Benji to be with someone all day when I am at work while he gets used to his new surroundings. Elana made the time to meet us first and adapted her schedule to make sure Benji would have company all day. Will definitely book again, Benji can't wait for his next day out with Elana.”

“Christine has been amazing. She has been looking after our dog during the hottest week of the year and catering to his physical needs as he has a bad back. She has also made sure he stays cool and calm. I have had picture updates whilst travelling for work which has been lovely. I would strongly recommend her and trust her with your furry family members. She is a true animal lover 🧡. Melvin will be looking forward to the next time he comes to see you!”

“Ally was amazing with our 20 month old cocker spaniel. You can tell that Ally really loves the animals she looks after and cares for them like they’re her own. She kept in contact and sent us pictures and videos and it was so lovely to see our pup having such a wonderful time. Ally has a beautiful large garden which is ideal and I know our dog loved! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ally. Thanks again.”

“Natalija looked after Bodhi for the first time yesterday and he didn’t want to go home. He kept running back to their house 🤣. Bodhi came home happy and exhausted. Thank you so much.”

About: I’m a caring, reliable, and attentive pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I take the time to understand each pet’s individual personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pet is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet, relaxed environment, I’ll provide plenty of companionship, exercise, affection, and attention. My priority is to give every pet the same care and comfort they receive at home . I have a flexible routine and can fit pet care into my daily and weekly schedule. I’m able to provide regular walks, feeding, playtime, and companionship, while keeping to each pet’s usual routine. Im free weekday and some weekends depending on my schedule and plans I have I live in a comfortable, pet-friendly flat and provide a calm, safe, and caring environment for pets. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, walks, medication if required, and any house rules.
About: We were parents to a very beautiful pug he was a loving little boy who in his later years started losing feelings in his back legs. He also was born with diabetes so as per owners we were very strict when it came to dieting and keeping on schedule when it came to insulin and medication. Both me and my partner work flexibly from home and in office. We are both also really active and find all the reasons in the world to go for hikes and long walks. We do not have a garden but we do have a close near us that is a great space for pets to roam and have a little run around. We also do have a back garden space which is fenced off.
“Vamsi and Nitya provide wonderful care and premises for my Labrador. We haven’t known each other that long but my confidence in their dog care and love they show to my dog is a huge relief for me, and I quickly increased the number of days/week for their services. Very highly recommended.”

About: My husband and I both grew up with dogs and absolutely adore their character, cuddles and companionship. We have been dog sitting for a few years and love meeting new dogs! Our preference is small dogs as we have the most experience with pugs, but love any dog that is well trained and enjoys a good cuddle. We live near big fields in a village and enjoy taking the dogs for walks in places like Cliveden, Burnham Beeches and Windsor Great Park. As we don’t have any resident dogs and my husband works from home full time we are very flexible on availability, but prefer school holiday bookings as we are both at home then. We also have twin boys who love dogs but only turned 1 in January 2026 so they are still learning how to treat dogs - please let us know if your dogs are child friendly! We look forward to meeting your dog soon! My husband works from home and I work part time at a school so we are always here to give the dogs 24/7 attention and care. We recently had twins too and they love dogs! I have a fenced garden in a quiet neighbourhood. Our lounge is spacious enough for crates if need be, but we find that most dogs gravitate towards our sofa for a good night’s sleep.
“Veena took wonderful care of our elderly dog. She was very flexible with scheduling and sent us many beautiful pictures and videos showing Taiki looking relaxed and happy. This was the first time she cared for our dog, and we felt confident that he was in excellent hands. Thank you, Veena, for taking such great care of Taiki!”

“Newton had a great stay with Chandrashekhar, his family, and their lovely dog Misty! We needed a last-minute booking and the communication was quick, clear, and really reassuring. Newton was well cared for and came back happy and relaxed. Would definitely recommend and happily book again!”

“This was Jessie’s first stay with Gary. We started the process by meeting Gary at his house for an introduction meeting. Gary came across a very experienced dog sitter. On the day Gary took Jessie out for two walks and posted some photos on Rover. Jessie looked so chilled out and relaxed in the photos. We are so happy with how it turned out that we have booked Jessie’s second stay with Gary.”

Sonia was great with Buddy. She sent lots of updates & videos during the day to put our mind at ease. Would’ve been lovely to do a meet & greet before or be able to sit with buddy for a bit before leaving him - he settled very well with lovely company of other dogs during daycare. There was lots of playing & walks provided which was great and lots of outdoor space! Would happily leave our Buddy with Sonia again!

I booked Scarlet through Rover having found the site on Google. I needed an last minute adhoc one day sitter for our puppy. I had a remarkable service from Scarlet as I was very nervous of leaving her with someone I had never met. She welcomed me and our puppy and reassured me before I left she would be fine. Scarlet took the time to ask questions and gain an understanding of our puppies routine prior to the day. I was kept up to date regularly throughout the day with updates and photo’s which further reassured me. My puppy was happy when we collected her at the end of the day and I could tell she had a really good day and from my experience I would not hesitate in recommending Scarlet.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
