About: What sets me apart is the amount of time, care, and genuine attention I can give to every pet. Being on maternity leave means I’m home most of the day, so your furry friend will always have supervision, companionship, and plenty of affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care. I’m very patient and attentive, which makes me confident caring for puppies learning their routines, senior dogs who need a gentler approach, or pets with special needs. Some things that help owners feel confident choosing me: I follow your pet’s usual routine closely, including feeding, walking, and playtime, to reduce stress. I maintain a safe, clean environment at all times, whether in your home or mine. I provide regular photo and message updates so you can see your pet happy and relaxed throughout their stay. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel loved, safe, and well cared for at all times. Your pet’s comfort and happiness is my priority, and I strive to build trust with both pets and their owners. I’m currently on maternity leave and spend most of my time at home. This gives me a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for pets throughout the day. I’m available for walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of attention, and I can easily adapt to your pet’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. Because I’m home often, pets in my care won’t be left alone for long periods and will receive plenty of companionship and supervision. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you’re away. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to welcoming new furry friends and giving them a safe, calm, and caring environment. Your pet’s safety, comfort and happiness will always be my top priority. I will always provide a calm and loving environment where pets can feel relaxed and secure whilst in my care whether they are in their own home or mine. I will take the time to understand each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special requirements so I can keep their day as familiar and stress-free as possible (again, regardless of being in my home or their own). In my home - pets will have a safe, clean space to relax aswell as play. They will always be supervised and given plenty of attention, exercise, and affection throughout the day. In your home - I will respect your space and follow the instructions provided so your pet can stay happy and content within their usual environment. I will stick to their normal feeding, walking, and sleeping routines as much as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured and connected while you’re away. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely comfortable and confident with the care being provided.
“We met Anna for a quick intro ahead of leaving our Australian Labradoodle, Rocket, with her for daycare. She was warm and friendly, and Rocket took to her instantly. The day went smoothly and Rocjet was well looked after! We would definitely recommend Anna and will be suing her again.”

“Leonie was absolutely fantastic, extremely organised and quick to respond. She is clearly very experienced with dogs and was very accommodating to ensure our dog was safe and help cope with the heatwave. Elton immediately gave Leonie kisses when he first met her and was evidently very comfortable! Thank you very much!”

“Fantastic experience. Our boy seemed to have a great time and was well cared for. Very appreciative of the short notice booking and of all the lovely photos and videos that we received of him whilst we were away. Great rover-er, would recommend and book again if we’re in the area ❤️”

“Jenny is a fantastic sitter. She was very accommodating and communicative with our specific circumstances being so last minute. Would recommend her to everyone of my pooch-owning friends!”

“Natalija is a brilliant host. She looked after our Cavapoo, Honey, puppy at very short notice. She was incredibly kind, helpful, accommodating and caring towards Honey. We feel lucky to have met her and will definitely ask her and her family to have Honey again for us. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Natalija.”

“Emilia looked after Luna perfectly, she was in communication with me during the day care and took Luna out on a nice walk. Luna was happy when I picked her up and we will be using Emilia again for day care!”

“I booked Scarlet through Rover having found the site on Google. I needed an last minute adhoc one day sitter for our puppy. I had a remarkable service from Scarlet as I was very nervous of leaving her with someone I had never met. She welcomed me and our puppy and reassured me before I left she would be fine. Scarlet took the time to ask questions and gain an understanding of our puppies routine prior to the day. I was kept up to date regularly throughout the day with updates and photo’s which further reassured me. My puppy was happy when we collected her at the end of the day and I could tell she had a really good day and from my experience I would not hesitate in recommending Scarlet.”

“Had an excellent experience with Brianne. It was the first time we used a pet sitter for our 4 month old golden retriever. Our puppy instantly took to her, clearly enjoyed his stay. Additionally she was empathetic of our difficult circumstances on the day and helped us with logistics. Would strongly recommend and happily book again if required.”

“Ionascu‘s updates were amazing. I was kept informed. He definitely cares. And I have to say to my surprise so so accommodating. This was the first time I left my puppy with somebody else and I felt like there was a lot of trust. I’m really impressed with the service that was provided and the update on the friendliness and openness. I highly recommend leaving your dog in good hands, here with Ionascu.”

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
