Doglover with her own car

My name is Leonie, originally from the Netherlands and has always been surrounded by dogs. As I love dogs, this is a nice opportunity to stay engaged with animals. My parents own 3 Labradors(gundogs) and my sister a Labrador that is used as a therapy dog for children. Dogs are always the sun in my life and with Rover I hope I can meet new people and new dogs and hopefully it will be a pleasure for both parties. have my own car so we go out for lovely walks around the Chilterns. I also love to walk to stay fit and with a dog this is a much more enjoyably experience. Around my local area there are really nice walks and footpaths very much in the nature of the Chiltern hills. Currently working from home with regular meetings but regular scheduled breaks as well during the week. If I do have to go to the office, I'm allowed to bring a dog with me. On weekends I tend to go hiking or meet up with friends and dogs are preferably coming with me.

Leonie was the perfect sitter for our little dog Enzo. We normally have a family member look after him when we go away, but we were going to a wedding so had to find a sitter for the first time. We are so happy we found Leonie! She had just Enzo and no other dogs, which we needed as he’s is nervous around some dogs. He was able to sleep on the sofa, was taken for loads of lovely walks, and we got lots of updates which we really loved. Leonie also took the time to meet Enzo before his stay, which we really appreciated and was really reassuring for us. Thank you so much ♥️

Leonie was great, very communitive and Frank had a great time, coming home a tired but very happy little pup. We would definitely use Leonie again.

Doggy Day Care • May 31, 2026

Leonie was absolutely fantastic, extremely organised and quick to respond. She is clearly very experienced with dogs and was very accommodating to ensure our dog was safe and help cope with the heatwave. Elton immediately gave Leonie kisses when he first met her and was evidently very comfortable! Thank you very much!

Dog Walking • Oct 08, 2025

Leonie was great. Came round to meet Sprout beforehand and collect keys. She took him for a walk locally and then popped in later to see him. Very helpful thank you.

Leonie was amazing. She looked after our dog extremely well and it was lovely coming back to such a happy, healthy boy. Leonie was very reliable and flexible and took good care of his needs in the hot weather. She also communicated really well and kept us updated. Leonie is a lovely person and we would not hesitate to recommend.

Schedule

Regular walks and scheduled breaks (good for the dog and myself). I can be fairly flexible in terms of work and schedule the dogsitting around it.

Safety, trust & environment

Loads of attention, walks, cuddles and just a lot of fun together. I do like a decent schedule myself and dogs generally don't mind that.

A typical day

We go for nice and very different walks, from the playfield, forest or just a walk in the neighbourhood depending on the needs and what suits the dog. In the housee regular petting and search and find games or fetch and toys.

As I live in a flat, dogs that are into barking mainly annoy my neighbours. If it's just happens when the front doorbell rings, no problem. Happy to always hear how you take care of the dog so I can stay as close as possible doing the same thing.
