“We left our little Sunny with Erinoulla for a few hours and it was a great experience. Sunny is usually very shy and nervous but Erinoulla and her family were extremely friendly and welcoming. She sent several photos and her communication was great - will definitely rebook with her.”

“Another fabulous stay with Andra! Her place is a warm loving home and it is clear that my dog has had a fun filled day. Andra sent pictures showing the adventures and snoozing that happened throughout the day. Thank you again Andra!”

“The most lovely, friendly and welcoming people you are ever going to meet! My dog was well cared for, loved and played with. We are so glad to have found Na and her husband to take care of our fluffy baby! Highly recommended.”

“Buddy had the best time with Louise today. Super communicative and flexible. Very knowledgable about dogs, clearly lots of experience. Lots of photos and videos too. Thanks Louise!”

“This is my first time ever leaving my boy in someone else's care, so you can imagine how anxious I was feeling. Quite quickly, at our initial pre-booking meet, Jessie put me at ease. I found her to be incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, reassuring, confident and very caring. I knew I had found the right person to take good care of him! Mace stayed with Jessie for a day, to get him familiarised for his upcoming boarding It went very well and she kept me updated throughout. Based on this one-day stay I would recommend Jessie.”

“Orbit seemed calm and happy when I picked her up. I also really appreciated receiving photos during the day. It was great that she was allowed on the sofa, as this is what she is used to at home and helps her feel relaxed. Thank you!”

“Mia loves being with Christine. She is always happy when I leave . Christine is so good with her., So good to leave Mia knowing she will be well looked after! Thank you Christine, we will be back!!”

“Christine has been amazing. She has been looking after our dog during the hottest week of the year and catering to his physical needs as he has a bad back. She has also made sure he stays cool and calm. I have had picture updates whilst travelling for work which has been lovely. I would strongly recommend her and trust her with your furry family members. She is a true animal lover 🧡. Melvin will be looking forward to the next time he comes to see you!”

“Sheila was fantastic with Bentley when he stayed with her for the day. Sheila really got Bentley and made his stay really enjoyable. I will definitely book again, but next time for an overnight stay. Thank you Sheila”

“Natalija looked after Bodhi for the first time yesterday and he didn’t want to go home. He kept running back to their house 🤣. Bodhi came home happy and exhausted. Thank you so much.”

“Ollie had a great day with Marianna and was clearly well looked after. We had an early start so it was great that Marianna was so accommodating & welcoming. He’ll definitely be making a return visit again soon.”

“Benji (2-year-old Frenchie) loves going to Izzy's house. Benji has awful separation anxiety and Izzy has made me feel at ease. Benji is always exhausted when he comes home in the evening which is super helpful for us. Izzy provides lots of photos and videos of Benji having a wonderful time. Thank you Izzy.”

“We were so happy with Sarah's care of our energetic 10-month-old Lab puppy. He loved playing football with her children, which was a big plus! It was clear he had a fun day, as he came home tired and content. We'll definitely be using Sarah again.”

About: My husband and I have both grown up with pets as children. These include dogs cats guinea pigs hamsters and rabbits. Our own beloved family cat Pixie passed away last year aged 18 yrs and our beloved Springer Spaniel Molly passed away at the beginning of this year aged 16yrs. We cared for her through her illness and made sure she was always comfortable. We loved all of our pets over the years especially Molly. Great company and many great memories over the years, we miss her. I would be able to do weekend sits (Friday eve - Sunday eve- reasonable distance) and school holidays. Pop ins once a day are manageable too in the week. I have a secure garden. Big enough kitchen to have a dog in a crate. Dogs would be walked as per your instructions. Cats and dogs given lots of love.

About: I’ve always had a huge love for animals and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I’m a caring, responsible and reliable person who understands that every pet has their own personality, routine and individual needs. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, lots of playtime, cuddles and attention, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy and cared for. I’m happy to follow your usual routines and instructions, including feeding, walks, medication and keeping you updated with photos and messages. Your pet’s wellbeing is my priority, and I’ll treat them as I would my own. I work from home, so I’ll be around throughout the day and able to give your pet plenty of attention, company and care. I can offer regular walks, playtime, cuddles and plenty of interaction throughout the day. I have flexibility around my working hours and will always make sure your pet’s needs and routine are prioritised. I have a safe, welcoming home with a fully fenced garden and plenty of space for pets to explore, play and run around. I work from home, so your pet will have company for most of the day rather than being left alone. I also have a 15-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son who absolutely love animals and will be excited to give your pet lots of attention and affection. I understand that every dog is different and will follow their usual routine, needs and instructions to make sure they feel comfortable, safe and settled.
About: We have owned and loved 3 lovely dogs over the years. Sadly they have now departed, however we long to care for and and offer our services where appropriate. We both love being outside and are always looking for new places to explore. We would welcome the opportunity to share our walking time with your best friend! Should your dog have any special needs then just let us know--we are very flexible. If there are any special places you would like your dog to visit then we would be happy to accommodate. We are both retired therefore we can be flexible. We live close to many dog walking areas including canal- parks & woods all close by. Our 2 bedroom ground floor flat is spacious and easily accessible. Pets would become a welcome member of our home and enjoy all the care and attention we can offer.
“Mia was amazing. She looked after Milo and Loki at short notice and they were at ease from the moment they arrived. Milo can be quite an anxious pup but when I collected them he was really happy and had had a lovely day. Loki had had lots of cuddles too! Mia is obviously devoted to the dogs she looks after and was very kind as well as being responsive to messages and understanding of my pupps’ needs. Thanks Mia, we will definitely be in touch again if the need arises!!”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Wycombe
Christine was so helpful and considerate to the needs of Eli. He is a disabled dog and quite anxious including his owners. Very calm, patient and kind manner from Christine and reassuring. Such a relief to find someone that is great with special needs doggies and builds a rapport with them. Eli loved it there and has settled quickly thanks to Christine’s expertise. Will not hesitate to keep booking. Thank you so much for all your help xxx

The dog was safe and very happy with Sarah and her lovely family. Anxious Watson was treated with a lot of gentle love and support during her stay. Sarah asked about all her preferences and routines, and listened to the answers. Dog was treated as part of the family. I have no hesitation in recommending Sarah, and hope to need her again soon

We are so pleased that Ryan looked after our Louie (1st time). He responds quickly to your messages/calls and is very friendly. You can notice he genuinely loves dogs, he is up for long walks if that’s what your furry friend needs which is a plus for us. When we picked up Louie, Louie was calm and content and gave Ryan a good waggle which is a good sign. Will definitely book again, highly recommended!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
