“The most lovely, friendly and welcoming people you are ever going to meet! My dog was well cared for, loved and played with. We are so glad to have found Na and her husband to take care of our fluffy baby! Highly recommended.”

“Ludmila was fantastic with our girls! They thoroughly enjoyed their stay and long walkies, Ludmila kept us updated and was flexible when we had to return a bit later due to an unexpected delay - thank you so much, we will be back😄”

“This is my first time ever leaving my boy in someone else's care, so you can imagine how anxious I was feeling. Quite quickly, at our initial pre-booking meet, Jessie put me at ease. I found her to be incredibly knowledgeable about dogs, reassuring, confident and very caring. I knew I had found the right person to take good care of him! Mace stayed with Jessie for a day, to get him familiarised for his upcoming boarding It went very well and she kept me updated throughout. Based on this one-day stay I would recommend Jessie.”

“My dog had a day stay at Andra - it was such a success! Andra and her husband are super diligent and very caring - I received plenty of photos and updates, and all of the instructions on feeding etc were followed perfectly. my dog was very comfortable and happy. We will be coming again! Thanks a million!”

“Yamini was absolutely amazing with our pup! It was our first time leaving him with a sitter and she completely put my mind at ease before and during. I received loads of pictures and updates throughout the time he was with her. He’s a bit anxious meeting new people but Yamini used her experience to ensure he quickly became comfortable. We can’t wait to use her services again.”

About: Dogs have been my favourite creatures since I was little, and that love has never gone away! Over the years I’ve cared for dogs of all ages — from bouncy puppies full of mischief to gentle older dogs who just want a cosy lap and a slow stroll. I know that leaving your dog with someone new is a really big deal — they’re not just a pet, they’re family. That’s why I’m committed to making the whole experience as reassuring as possible for both of you. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout the day so you always know your pup is happy, safe and having the best time. Your dog’s safety and wellbeing is always my number one priority, and I treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I work from home most of the week, so they’ll never be left alone for long — there’s always someone here for cuddles, playtime and company. I live just a short walk from open parkland and have a fully enclosed garden, so plenty of fresh air and safe outdoor adventures are guaranteed every day. My goal is simple — for your dog to have the best time, and for you to feel 100% confident they’re in the right hands. I work from home most days, so dogs in my care get consistent company, regular walks and plenty of attention throughout the day — not just morning and evening. Weekends are just as flexible, making it easy to stick to your dog’s usual routine. My home is calm, clean and dog-friendly. I have a fully fenced garden that backs onto a park, so there’s always safe outdoor space available. I’m experienced with both puppies and older dogs, so I know how to adapt the environment to suit different needs — whether that’s extra supervision for a young pup or a quieter, more relaxed pace for a senior dog
“Sadly we had to cancel the stay with Imani as my plans changed, but what I will say is that on our initial meet she was so lovely with Zeke, she was so welcoming and great, we look forward to actually going ahead with a stay?”

“Mia was amazing. She looked after Milo and Loki at short notice and they were at ease from the moment they arrived. Milo can be quite an anxious pup but when I collected them he was really happy and had had a lovely day. Loki had had lots of cuddles too! Mia is obviously devoted to the dogs she looks after and was very kind as well as being responsive to messages and understanding of my pupps’ needs. Thanks Mia, we will definitely be in touch again if the need arises!!”

“Natalija looked after Bodhi for the first time yesterday and he didn’t want to go home. He kept running back to their house 🤣. Bodhi came home happy and exhausted. Thank you so much.”

“Marianna was wonderful, her communication was great, she kept me in the loop, with out being over the top! She was also flexible which was really helpful that day because nothing went to plan! she was excited to look after Murray and he didn’t want to leave when I picked him up. It’s really puts your mind at ease knowing someone so lovely is looking after your puppy! thanks again and we look forward to working with you again, soon!”

“Sheila was fantastic with Bentley when he stayed with her for the day. Sheila really got Bentley and made his stay really enjoyable. I will definitely book again, but next time for an overnight stay. Thank you Sheila”

About: I am always looking after our friend's dogs and my son is in love with cats. Both of us like looking after animals and understand they might be humans' best friends. I am currently working assignments only and I have some spare time which I would love to use it looking after animals and will provide great companionship. The look after the dogs we board as our own. In their first day we try to understand their routine and to make their settling in as easy as possible.

About: I grew up with dogs. My family dogs was two German shepherds. My dad got me my dogs for my 10th birthday. I knew I was a dog person since a very young age and have never lived life without one. I currently have my little girl Polly who is 5 years old. Loves other dogs and making new friends. We both often have our friends and family dogs over to look after during holiday seasons and overnight sleepovers. It’s very fun! Im currently self employed and working from home. I am free most days as my dog Polly requires a lot of attention during the day we are mostly out and I work in the evenings once she is knackered. I live in a spacious flat surrounded by green and go on daily walks for roughly 2 hours per day. We hit our 14k of steps per day. Love to do our walks in Hughenden park, river wye, chillern hills. I do love switching it up and go to marlow, beaconsfield, Taplow, bourne end and many more places as I love my dogs to explore new places.
About: We have owned and loved 3 lovely dogs over the years. Sadly they have now departed, however we long to care for and and offer our services where appropriate. We both love being outside and are always looking for new places to explore. We would welcome the opportunity to share our walking time with your best friend! Should your dog have any special needs then just let us know--we are very flexible. If there are any special places you would like your dog to visit then we would be happy to accommodate. We are both retired therefore we can be flexible. We live close to many dog walking areas including canal- parks & woods all close by. Our 2 bedroom ground floor flat is spacious and easily accessible. Pets would become a welcome member of our home and enjoy all the care and attention we can offer.
About: I am happy to tailor services to pet needs to ensure that your furry baby gets exactly what it needs and feels at home. This could be health care visits, extra cuddles or play time. I'm currently transitioning from an Indian lawyer to an UK Solicitor and am unemployed. That leaves me with plenty of time for your baby and none of the visits will be rushed. A 15 minute consultation call complimentary after a booking is accepted to understand your pets psychology as well as any special needs, likes or dislikes. This will ensure that the babies feel understood and get exactly what they need.

Christine has been amazing. She has been looking after our dog during the hottest week of the year and catering to his physical needs as he has a bad back. She has also made sure he stays cool and calm. I have had picture updates whilst travelling for work which has been lovely. I would strongly recommend her and trust her with your furry family members. She is a true animal lover 🧡. Melvin will be looking forward to the next time he comes to see you!

We are so pleased that Ryan looked after our Louie (1st time). He responds quickly to your messages/calls and is very friendly. You can notice he genuinely loves dogs, he is up for long walks if that’s what your furry friend needs which is a plus for us. When we picked up Louie, Louie was calm and content and gave Ryan a good waggle which is a good sign. Will definitely book again, highly recommended!

Ben and Ellis have been absolutely wonderful with my nervous lab! They were very patient with her and tailored their support around her to make her as comfortable as possible. She loves the walks they take her on and is increasingly more confident. They are also brilliant at sending updates, how the pup is doing along with pictures which is always reassuring. Definitely recommend!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South East England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
