I'm a first time user of this site aswell as leaving my boys with complete strangers so I was very anxious about it but she put my mind at ease I had plenty of updates throughout my time away even though my phone couldn't always pick up signal when I could get signal and message back my messages were instantly replied back to. My boys are fussy and don't like strangers in the house full stop. But even though they were hiding they were still eating all their food that was left out for them both cats were very happy to have joanna here as usually if I go out for the day they get cross with me and won't come in for hours sulking that I left them! But no welcomed home by both of them within 10 mins of arriving home! So happy with the service Joanna provided and she understood that my cats were weirdos and didn't think I was bonkers mad cat lady either pandering to them. I would highly recommend Joanna to everyone she is a lovely lady to help with your pets! In fact mine are actually getting on better now than ever. She has given me and my cats the break we needed from each other but I'm still staff! Thank you Joanna can't wait for my next holiday!”

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Axelle is the only person I would ever trust with my cat again. This was my first time using Rover and my first time leaving Pillow with anyone. Axelle made it easy. He took to her so completely that he started waiting for her on the stairs before her visits. Cats don't do that for people they tolerate. They do it for people they have chosen. He chose her. The trip was horrible. Halfway through, my flight got rescheduled by several days for medical reasons, and Axelle adjusted with grace, kindness, and zero complication — moved visits, communicated clearly, made it feel like she was on my team rather than putting up with an inconvenient client. She kept me updated, sent photos and videos, and genuinely engaged with Pillow as a person rather than a job. What I realised in this trip is that Axelle cares. Properly cares. Not professional warmth — actual investment in the wellbeing of an animal she has been entrusted with. My cat was safe with her in a way that let me handle a brutal week without ever once worrying about him. If you are reading this trying to decide who to book — book Axelle. She is the rare person who treats your pet like family while you are gone, and treats you with the same kindness when life throws something difficult into the middle of the booking. “Megan and Hannah are amazing, kind and caring people who have a passions for looking after pets. Coco (my cat) warmed to them and was well looked after in their care. They made sure Coco was fed, hydrated, and fussed over during the visits and they also emptied her litter tray. They also sent pictures of Coco which I really appreciated. And a bonus, they looked after Coco over Christmas which was perfect so couldn’t really ask for more. I’d highly recommend their services and will use their services again in the future. About: I’ve taken care of dogs for many years via Rover or Family and Friends, all types of dogs. Experience with all types of dogs and needs. A dog being comfortable, excited and fulfilled after my care is very important so I aim to have only 1 or 2 dogs at a time unless they are familiar with each other I am based from home full time. I only show available if i am able to be around 24/7, to care for your 4 legged companion 😁 i am currently taking a course to offer specific Dog training. I have a secure and fenced garden, stair gates if required and plenty of space for the dog to rest and/or sleep. Lots of toys too. I also only accept 1 or 2 dogs at time so I can provide commited care.

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have shared my life with many over the years. Each one taught me something different about care, patience, and the special bond that grows when you spend time with animals. That connection is what motivates me to be a pet sitter and walker. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets as if they were your own, and that’s exactly what I offer. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience administering medication, whether it’s tablets, liquid medicine, or topical treatments. I’m attentive to each pet’s needs and make sure they feel calm and cared for during the process. I can also help with feeding routines, cleaning litter boxes or cages, and providing lots of playtime and affection. I enjoy spending time outdoors, and walking dogs combines two of my favourite things, fresh air and happy, wagging tails! I’m available for walks and visits after 4:30pm on weekdays and anytime after 11am on Saturdays and Sundays. The latest visit time is 8pm. Thanks I am happy to offer walks, home visits, or overnight stays. I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and personalities, and for everyone’s safety, I only accept vaccinated pets into my care.

About: I have a four years old dog, I've got experiences of training and taking care of them, from house training to walking. I enjoy every moment staying with these lovely furry friends. I'm currently working part time, mostly only up to two days per week, hence I have lots of time taking care of their daily routine. Most of the time I will be satying at home for the whole day. I have a fenced garden to make sure there's no possibility of dogs escaping from the garden. The house has carpet with spaces for running around is good for their joints.

About: I was raised with 2 lovely black Labradors in the house. One of which had puppies when I was in primary school! I would often be the one to bathe and groom them and once I was old enough shared out feeding duties, accompanied vet visits and helped remove tics after walks in long grass. Both of them developed health issues later in life and as a family we adapted to. Like with many labs, their hips and joints became weaker so we put friction mats on our tiled floors to help them walk. The younger of the 2 (Sunshine/Sunny) became blind so we put a bell on the eldest so she could hear where she was. I also would walk Sunny on a close harness to comfort her and give her confidence by being near me. Pulling up on her harness when we reached curbs and slowing down when going over uneven surfaces. I feel satisfied in saying that both dogs were able to live full lives right until the days we had to put them to sleep. When I’m not at uni, I’m at my parents house with our lovely 1 year old Labrador Isla! I have been her main trainer since we got her in March 2025. Despite being a crazy pup, she is very intelligent and I hope to have more time to teach her some tricks on top of the basics like sit and stay. I am confident in saying I have experience of looking after elderly dogs, puppies and all in between! As a full time student, I have reasonable flexibility around my lectures at university for pet care. I’m usually required to be in university 2-3 days a week, either for the full day or just a morning or afternoon. For my dogs, it’s been a priority to make sure they have a consistent place in the house that is their little “nest”. Usually their bed with their favourite toys and/or blankets. When looking after them as puppies this safe space starts off in their cage which they are put in at meal times and on a night. With feeding, I prefer to use dry kibble as it’s better for keeping their teeth clean and snacks for training or treats are often carrots and celery sticks. Meal times are split into breakfast and dinner and are at consistent times. My dogs’ water bowl is suspended in a stand making it easier for her to drink with no straining of her neck. Ideally she gets 2 walks a day, at least 1 in a big open space where she can run around and play fetch. If there isn’t time for 2 walks I play with her for some extra time in the garden. In the summer, there is a paddling pool I set up in the garden which is great for keeping her cool and giving her something mentality stimulating to investigate/splash in! With Isla my current dog, we give her towels tied up with kibble tucked inside for her to sniff and battle with to keep her occupied for a little while mentally. When one of my previous dogs went blind, we adapted the house to make it easier for her to manoeuvre. We padded the sides of furniture so when she bumped into them it didn’t hurt as much. When my old dogs became more elderly, we put down carpets on the slippy floors to help them grip as well as putting metacam in their food to ease their joint pain. I value the importance of making sure dogs have a good quality of life with both physical and mental stimulation!

About: Lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience across dogs, cats, and horses. I currently own two 55kg Spanish Mastins (both reactive), and previously had an Alaskan Malamute with similar traits—so I’m very confident handling large, strong, and sensitive dogs. Alongside this, I’ve owned and ridden horses all my life, competing at national level and working as a groom, which has given me a strong sense of responsibility, routine, and high standards of care. Through Rover, I’ve built experience with a range of pets, including regularly walking a Labrador for the past 3 years, as well as walking several other dogs and carrying out drop-in visits for cats. At home, I also have two cats who I adore, so I understand the importance of calm, attentive care for more independent pets. I’ll be offering dog walks and pet check-ins while on maternity leave, and my baby (currently 7 months old) will usually be with me. Because of this, pets will need to be comfortable around children and happy walking alongside a pram. I am currently on maternity leave so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I can work with you to look after your furry friends. My baby will be coming along so I require some notice to plan around baby life! Unfortunately, we cannot bring any pets home with us as we live in a small house, that might not be suitable for larger dogs. We also have our cats Panther & Nimbus who are the sassiest little things ever and don’t take too kindly to other pets sharing their space.

I raised my own dog from a puppy, gaining daily hands on experience with training, exercise, feeding routines and general care. I’ve also cared for dogs belonging to friends and family, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, ages and temperaments. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I also make sure owners have peace of mind their beloved pet is in safe hands, sending text and photo updates when I am caring for their pet. I currently work part time, which gives me good flexibility during the week to care for your furry friend. I’m available for dog walks and drop ins/sitting, particularly in the afternoons and evenings and most mornings as well as weekends. I’m happy to keep dogs active with walks, playtime and attention while you’re busy or away. While I’m not able to host dogs in my own home, I’m very happy to ceee for pets in their familiar environment. I offer dog walking and dog sitting/drop in visits, making sure dogs feel comfortable, safe and well cared for in their in space. I always follow and respect owners routines closely and can provide photos and updates for peace of mind.

About: We are Hannah and Alex, a couple from High Wycombe who are massive dog lovers! Between us we have experience of caring for a wide range of breeds; Spaniels, Husky Cross, Westies, Collies, Whippets, Chihuahuas and Beagles. We are also well versed in caring for older dogs, and those that may require additional needs, such as administering medication and ear issues/cleaning (those who have Spaniels know the issues with those long ears!) I work full time, however am only required in the office 3 days a week (8.30-4-30). I generally work in the office Monday-Wednesday, so would be available to be at home with your beloved pet Thursday - Sunday. However, the days a week I attend the office are flexible and can be changed to cater to needs if required. My office is also only a 5 minute drive from my home. We are happy to be guided by you in relation to your dogs routine at home (frequency/duration of walks and feeding times etc) - we want them to feel as comfortable in our home as they are in yours. We live in a ground floor flat, however we have our own fully enclosed private garden. We love being outside, and live a 5 minute walk from a big open park for your dog to enjoy. We do not currently own our own dog, so you can be assured that your fur baby will receive 100% of the love and attention! Walks will be completed with guidance from the individual owner in terms of any areas to avoid, whether the dog needs to be kept on a lead when on walks, or whether they have a good recall to be let off for a good run!
