“Joëlla was very professional and we think that Maverick liked her - we got home to a happy doggo. She kept me updated and communicated easy and efficient from the beginning. Her notes were very detailed and the photos were great. It is the first time I used this app and I am super happy with the experience.”

“So pleased with Rebecca's visit, loved the pictures she sent and the report. Jasmine obviously liked her. Will definitely use Rebecca again and highly recommend. Thanks soooo much! Happy Christmas xxx”

“Olivia visited our two cats daily at our house whilst we were away for a week on holiday. We highly recommend Olivia as she cared for them daily; feeding them and cleaning out the litter. We came home to two very relaxed and happy cats. Olivia's drop in service is a great alternative to a cattery, especially for our older cat who gets stressed when she isn't at home. 5 Stars *****”

“Very good communication and managed to fit us in on a Sunday at short notice. Karen was very kind and understanding about Bruno's 'quirks', and took care of all his needs on a very hot day! Would definitely recommend her and will use again. Thank you Karen 😊”

About: When I was a teenager I used to feed the dogs and cats for a neighbour when they went on holiday. My partner also used to have dogs so I am used to walking dogs, they were both huskies. We also have pastoral dogs at school so I used to being around smaller dogs. I currently work in a school but am available for the holiday and half terms. Monday to Sunday. I am also willing to work around your schedule if you go on holiday for example. I have a fenced garden and a partner who has had many pets (cats and dogs) in the past. We are both calm and patient and friendly and have a loving home to board your pet.
“Sean was fantastic with our cat lily and she immediately took to him! He took great care of her, sent us updates and info and we felt so comforted knowing Lily was in good hands. Definitely would recommend Sean for any pet sitting needs :)”

About: I have taken care of many different breeds of dogs and cats since I was a teenager. My neighbours and friends relied on me to walk, feed and care for their pets whilst they were away on holiday. I do have a full time job however I work shifts and have plenty of days off, (My calendar will always be updated to my off days) so they will not be left alone & I will still have a lot of time to play and look after your pet. I do not have any other pets at the property so your pet will be my No.1 priority. The flat has a communal garden so toilet breaks will be regular. I live around a lot of wildlife living near the chilterns and will be able to take them on long and interesting walks!
About: I currently have a dog and cat who are very much part of the family and have access to all areas of the house. They gets lots of love, i love all animals, and i am looking to share that love with your pets. I am unemployed so have spare time to spend with your pets. Morning are usually walkies for my dog so afternoon/evenings i am available, but can do mornings if really needed. For me pets are family so they get shown the same amount of love and respect as any other family member. I am patient and probably treat them better than people!
About: I have had several dogs during my lifetime. Most recently I have taken to looking after neighbours, family and friends dogs for a day, weekend or a week at a time. I have taken early retirement but will be returning to work on a part time basis at the beginning of April. I will have 5 days per week where I may be available for dog sitting, dog walking. I have a fully fenced and gated large back garden at our property. Lots of good, long walks within a short distance of where I live which will normally involve a short drive.

You can count on me to follow instructions to the letter, keep you updated, and make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I treat every pet like my own and believe peace of mind shouldn’t be optional. As a personal trainer with flexible hours, I’m able to fit pet care naturally into my daily and weekly routine. When caring for pets in their own home, I do everything I can to keep them comfortable and happy in their familiar space. I follow their routine closely — from feeding and fresh water to playtime and walks (if needed). I make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and company so they don’t feel alone while you’re away. I also respect your home, keep things clean and tidy, and always leave it just as I found it — with a happy, well-cared-for pet ready to greet you when you return!

About: As a passionate dog lover, I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I provide attentive, reliable care and will make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved while you're away. Having grown up around animals with my father being a retired veterinary surgeon, I understand that every dog is unique, which is why I create a bespoke care plan for every booking, tailored to your dog's individual needs, personality, and routine. My aim is to keep your dog as comfortable and happy as possible by following their usual schedule, including feeding times, walks, playtime, and any special requirements they may have. Whether your dog loves long adventures, quiet cuddles, or extra attention, I'll ensure they receive the care and companionship they deserve. I provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment, giving you complete peace of mind while you're away. Regular updates, photos, and communication are included so you can see how much fun your furry friend is having during their stay. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)! I am freelance and I have plenty of time during the day to look after your pets. I can come to your house or can host your pets at mine. Happy to tailor to your pets needs on an individual basis. I’m an active person and will be out regularly walking the dogs and showing them attention. My flat is large and spacious and homely, despite not having a garden I will take your animals out very often for walks and they will be cared for in the best way. Sometimes my children are around they are 8 and 11 years old.
About: I love all dogs and have owned many breeds. I am comfortable playing with my Dad’s Pomeranian or my sisters Staffordshire bull terrier. I grew up with jack russells and setters. I love making sure they have a good run around and also get to play indoors and are kept engaged. I love cuddles on the sofa and making sure they got lots of attention. I’m fit and active and can make sure they have a good walk. I’m a dog lover currently inbetween jobs (and usually work from home or in a hybrid capacity) so am fully available at home and living next to a park. I am in a ground floor flat so White Hill park is technically my garden. I’ve had dogs my whole life and currently live vicariously through helping friends and family with theirs. I miss the cuddles, playing and company of dogs so being able to help people with theirs perfectly aligns with my current schedule. I don’t drive but the park is right outside. Although I have access to a car if need be. I live in a ground floor flat with the security door just outside my front door so there are no safety/escape issues. I can let them out for the toilet whenever they need it. I have throws on my sofa so dogs are welcome on my furniture. I’ve always considered dogs part of the family so I don’t mind them on the sofa. My flat is quite big so there is plenty of room for their beds, crates and toys - whatever the owners preference.
About: Flexible working hours and working from home means either myself or my husband will always be around. Your pets will be looked after with lots of attention and care. We understand how hard it can be to find support and want to pass this on. I currently work from home with very flexible hours as I am self-employed so I will always be around to offer support and care if your pets stay here. Large fenced off garden, plenty of space in the home and no children. We have a dog ourselves who likes other pets but does not tend to interact much with them so your pets will be comfortable here.

About: Animals have always been a central part of my life; I grew up caring for a variety of dogs. I have extensive experience with puppies, rescue dogs, and senior pets, and I am well-versed in managing canine anxiety and implementing training methods for young dogs. Because I currently work from home, I have the flexibility to provide daytime walks or check-ins. I am also happy to host pets in my home, which features an enclosed garden and is located near excellent walking areas. To ensure a smooth transition and keep your pet comfortable, I will strictly follow their established routines regarding mealtimes, food, and treats. Working from home, I am easily able to meet your pets' needs, and can adapt my responsibilities to fit in walks and exercising, mealtimes etc. I have an enclosed fenced garden , regular garden breaks as Patio doors are open most the time depending on weather. I give the dogs plenty of massages and fuss.
“Chris is fantastic with our two dogs, one of which is very anxious and I was nervous having someone pop in initially but he put us at ease. The dogs like him and we get great updates on how the drop it went. Couldn’t recommend him enough.”
“Zoe was fantastic! I cannot recommend highly enough. She looked after our two ragdoll cats and kept me updated throughout. I felt so reassured by her and I know the cats loved her visits (as they ended up meeting her at the front door by the end). Absolutely 5 stars! I now feel comfortable to go away and leave the cats again.i know they will be in safe hands.”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Aylesbury Vale
From first contact Olivia put my mind at rest about both using a pet sitter and leaving my car in her care. The meet and greet was a great way to get to know her and introduce her to my cat. They clicked straight away. My feeding and care instructions were followed. I got regular updates and photos while I was away and my cat seemed happy and relaxed when I returned. Would highly recommend Olivia and I will be booking again.

We are so happy we found Stavrina! Stavrina fed our cat twice a day while we were away - she took so much care in our home and of course our fur baby. Stavrina updated us after every visit which really put my mind at ease. 100% recommend! Thank you once again Stavrina!
Joella has been looking after our 11 yr Springer and 8 Month Lab for 5 months now. She is reliable, flexible and the dogs love her. She has dealt with our springer having hock surgery and the complications of care (keeping the dogs seperate) with an eager puppy that just wants to play and is now in season. We trust her implicitly, she has never let us down and always makes that little extra effort that means so much.
We were so happy to have Aimee look after Dora again - Aimee sent us very regular updates and photos, she went above and beyond taking Dora out, giving her lots of exercise and introducing her to other dogs (with our permission) and Dora was very happy when we came home. Wouldn't hesitate to use Aimee again.
Cara was absolutely wonderful! She kindly popped in twice to check on my dog while we were out, and she was so warm, friendly, and caring. My dog clearly adored her, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in safe, loving hands. Reliable, trustworthy, and genuinely lovely, I wouldn’t hesitate to ask her again or recommend her to anyone.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
