I have a great love for all animals but closest to my heart are Cats, I have 4 fur babies of my own who I adore, and have had hands on experience of the difficulties in finding suitable care arrangements for them when going on Holiday etc. I have owned cats for many moons now, from a little girl I had an obsession with kittens and cats, which never left me. I may just become one of those "crazy cat ladies" (I think secretly I already am a "crazy cat lady" although we can leave the crazy bit out) I completely understand the trust issues and other concerns you may have when leaving your pets (and your home for that matter) for whatever the reason may be, and actually came across this site whilst looking for solutions for my cats when I am away again. I am a member to many cat and dog charities and would also rescue a pet rather than to buy one from a shop as I feel that is the right thing to do. I think this is a brilliant idea as it offers the security of having insured, DBS checked people who you would hope are genuine and trustworthy enough to have in your home, lets not forget although our pets are number 1, we do still have out precious possessions in the home to that can cause some anxiety as well leaving them in the hands of a potential stranger. When looking into the services provided on here I thought I would sign up to be a cat sitter too, I can see there are lots of caring and friendly people on here who share the same passion as I do for their own pets, so I guess it helps to have a big community of caring people to help each other out.
