About: Hello fellow dog owners, I am NEW on Rover! I bring a genuine passion for animals and their well-being to every visit. Beyond the basics, I’ve got experience in puppy training helping the bundle of joy learn good habits. I’m also comfortable with caring for senior dogs who may have unique needs and require a more gentle approach. You can relax knowing your beloved pet is in capable and caring hands, no matter their age! I am a co owner of a Yorkshire terrier, aged 8, who I dog sit occasionally (since moving out of my mum’s house!). This means I can cater for just your dog, if they are not comfortable around other dogs. I’m currently working on a flexible schedule during the week and free on weekends. Happy to accommodate evenings, or overnight. I value good communication and will give sufficient notice should any plans change. Being a co-owner to a much-loved, playful Yorkshire terrier, I understand the importance of excellent care. I offer a convenient service where I travel to you to look after your furry family member(s) in the comfort of their own home. Equally, they are more than welcome to stay with me in my maisonette. Plus, I have my own car for prompt transportation in case of an emergency.

About: We are a couple living in Hemel Hempstead, having just bought our first house. I am a 25 year old female working as a HR professional, and my boyfriend is 29 working as a senior quantity surveyor. We have grown up with animals our whole lives ranging from hamsters to fish to rabbits to dogs. We are fortunate enough to both have very flexible working patterns. We both work at least 3 days from home, meaning that one of us is guarentee to be at home every day. At the weekends, we love to go for coffee & walks. About: I've looked after a cat since I was very young, through from a kitten to senior and I loved him very much! 😺 My partner and I have recently adopted our first rescue dog together and she's a diamond, I've learned a lot about dog behaviour and mannerisms through training, playing and living with her ❤️ She's got moderate seperation anxiety so I completely understand how important it is to have someone who is communicative and reliable to look after your furry family member. About: I have had pets all my life and am well trained in dog and cat care! I love going on long walks, and it would be great to have some pets to join me! I work from home 3/4 days a week, and have plenty of time to walk and check in on pets. I can work from any location so I can be very flexible. In my own garden we have 2x very high walls, and our front door is a double door so there is 0 chance of any issues!

She took a great care of him and went above the beyond. Unfortunately Buddy has upset stomach on that day, so he needed potty breaks very often. Victoria provided the needed breaks for him, also she was making sure to keep Buddy hydrated, and she was sending me regular updates. Honestly the best decision I made. This was my first time having a cat sitter and Philomena was wonderful. As soon as she came to visit I knew she was just what we needed. The cats loved her visits and played happily with her. She always had something interesting for them to get excited about. She fed them, kept the water bowl topped up and cleaned the litter and food items each day. She even fixed a broken plinth in my kitchen! Her daily updates about the cats became a fun daily read for th family whilst we were away. What a wonderful lady.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
