“Jack had his first overnight stay with Edward and Natalie and had a lovely time. We were quite anxious how he would react at night but he was a very good boy and slept the night. It is so nice to receive photos of him during the day as we can then relax. Thank you both again. We now feel we can book a holiday knowing Jack will settle with you.”

“Chloe looked after our cocker Link for two nights. Looks like he had a lovely time with lots of great walks and fuss. Chloe made sure to keep us updated and we had every confidence that Link was in good hands. We'd definitely recommend Chloe and I'm sure Link will be visiting again 😊”

About: I’ve wanted a dog of my own ever since I was little, and joining Rover feels like the perfect way to get my fix! For the past 2-3 years I’ve been the person family and friends turn to when their dogs need looking after - something I genuinely love doing. I’m hoping to adopt my own dog soon, and in the meantime I’d love to look after yours ☺️ I work from home most of the week and often have one or two days at the weekend free. I’m available for lunch time walks or dog sitting at weekends. I love going for long walks in the countryside nearby and having a dog for company would be a dream. I’ll always endeavour to stick to your dog’s schedule whether dog sitting in your home or mine. I don’t have any other pets so well suited for dogs who like to have all the attention! I have a very small garden that isn’t fenced so any adventurous dogs I’ll need to keep on lead for toilet breaks, but I am also only a 5 minute walk from playing fields and open countryside where they can roam off lead if you’re comfortable with that.
“Penny had the most wonderful stay with Evie and Megan. They take such good care of her and send regular updates and photos. We trust them implicitly to take good care of Penny and can take a holiday knowing she’s in really good hands. Lots of walks, play and cuddles. Highly recommend. Thank you both!”

“Hannah took fantastic care of our Corgi for 4 nights! Hannah was great at communication up to and over the stay - sending regular updates and taking out Corgi out and about for lots of walks and trips! Would 100% reccomend 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Sacha and Christina were amazing. It was first time leaving my dog with anyone overnight so I was a bit nervous but there was no need as they were so reassuring and send regular updates. My dog Simba absolutely loved them and did not want to come home. I would definitely use them again x”

“Leanne looked after Bruce, my large mixed bull breed, for 5 nights. From making the enquiry, she was really responsive and we agreed an initial meet, so her and her family could meet Bruce, this went well so we agreed the dates. I dropped Bruce off, and Leann already had experience with large breeds and e collar training. This really put me at ease when I left! She sent .e regulat daily updates and photos sp I could see how settled bruce was with them. Wheb i arrived to collect him, he was playing with Leannes son in the garden, really happy. I would not hesitate to recommend Leanne, she gave Bruce love and time and that made him a happy boy! I would also use Leanne in the future. Thank you so much for looking after my 50kg baby!”

“Melinda was fantastic with my boys. I think they were spoilt rotten and had a lovely time staying there. I would definitely use her again, she followed all of my instructions and had no problems at all while I was away. She sent me pictures to let me know they were fine and settled in which meant I didn’t worry at all while I was on holiday.”

“Shishir and Marion took great care of Alfie, from the start they saw I was anxious about leaving him with a strangers and did everything they could help reassure me, allowing me to schedule a few meetings and greets to get to know them and for them to get to know Alfie. Throughout my stay I got daily updates and pictures and felt constantly reassured he was happy whilst I was enjoying my holiday. I would book them again without a doubt and highly recommend them!”

“Debbie looked after our dog Winston for a weekend and he had a great time. Debbie was really helpful and accommodating with drop off and pickup times, and shared updates with us throughout Winston’s stay. We highly recommend Debbie and would definitely use her again.”

“Mina took care of our spring/collie cross 4yr old over three days. A good summary is our dog did not want to leave! Mina was absolutely lovely with her throughout. Very professional and affectionate towards our dog. Plenty of exercise with quality walks and fantastic communication throughout the stay. Couldn’t ask for more and would definitely recommend.”

“Agne was absolutely brilliant with Artie. She took so much care and made Artie's time as fun as possible, especially with his new best friend Pablo. We received lots of lovely updates and felt really confident that Artie was being very well looked after. Highly recommend and definitely will be booking again!”

“Carly looked after Oliver for 3 days. She regularly updated us throughout his stay and we had lots of lovely pictures. He clearly enjoyed his stay as didn’t really want to come home :). Thanks so much we will definitely use Carly again.”

About: My dream is to have my own dog one day! Until then, I’d love to help take care of yours 🥰 I am a small dog lover providing loving care from our peaceful family home in Gadebridge, Hemel Hempstead. I live with my parents in a quiet, safe neighbourhood, where we have a small grassed garden that is completely secure and perfect for fresh air and playtime. Your pet will enjoy a constant routine of companionship, plenty of potty breaks, and endless affection. I specialise in overnight stays (at mine) specifically for smaller breeds. Our home is a calm, safe sanctuary where smaller pups can feel completely relaxed without being overwhelmed. I only accept one dog at a time. While I keep overnights exclusive to smaller dogs, I am completely comfortable walking, visiting, and hanging out with small-medium sized dogs! We are located right by fantastic walking routes for high-energy exercise or just slow pottering! We treat every guest dog like a member of our own family. I always recommend a Meet & Greet in our home/garden first so you can be reassured the stay will be a perfect fit for your furry best friend and we can ask each other plenty of questions. Please note I do not do overnight stays at owners' houses nor do I look after cats. Because I work from home twice a week alongside my parents, our house is almost never empty for more than half a day. This means your pet will enjoy constant company, reassurance, and supervision throughout the day. Your pet’s safety is my absolute number one priority. Our family home is located in a quiet, safe neighbourhood in Gadebridge. We have a partially-grassed garden that is fully enclosed with high, secure walls and a side gate, ensuring zero chance of escape during outdoor playtime. Inside, the house is kept clean, calm, and entirely 'pet-proofed' so curious paws cannot get into anything they shouldn't. Because we are a multi-person household with people working from home, pets would rarely be left unattended for more than half a day. I track subtle changes in energy, appetite, or bathroom breaks ; I will be open with you if there are any issues In the rare event of an illness or accident, I maintain a clear emergency protocol. I keep your preferred vet's details on hand, know the quickest routes to the local 24/7 emergency animal hospital, and will contact you immediately. Paws are wiped down after walks, and fresh, filtered water is always available in a clean bowl in the utility room. I know how hard it is to leave your beloved pet with someone else. To ensure total transparency and trust, I will provide photo and video updates on a schedule we agree so you will always know your dog is well cared for.
“Bear had a great time with David and his family. I am always a bit nervous about leaving my dog with someone new but felt reassured at the meet and greet. It was so nice for Bear to stay with another dog and cat as well as humans. David is clearly very confident and competent with big dogs like my Bear. David provided daily updates with great pictures and I could see how much fun Bear was having. It really added to the enjoyment of our holiday seeing his adventures 😄”

“Philomena was simply amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly professional and met with us before hand to discuss all the details. Our cat Midna is very weary of strangers when we're not at home but Philomena was very patient and spent a lot of time on each of her visits so that she could allow Midna to get acquainted with her new friend at her own pace. We received detailed updates and photos with each visit which put our minds at ease. I will most certainly be calling on Philomena again in the future and can't recommend her enough.”

“Chloe was fabulous! Very easy going and personable but still with high standards. Highly recommend and would definitely book with her again. Thank you for looking after our fur baby! 💛”

“It’s the first time I’ve left Loki for a whole week since he’s needed regular medication, and I couldn’t have been happier with the care that he received from Rebecca. I got regular updates twice a day, and could always tell how happy he was. Would 100% recommend Rebecca!!”

“Sofiia was excellent as a cat sitter! She kept us updated and even managed to get our cat to follow her in for food ( he normally runs away from people he doesn't know well!) We came home to a well fed and happy cat. I would highly recommend Sofiia!”

“This is the second time I have used Yasmin and Salma and I have already booked in for the third. They have gone above and beyond to ensure my kitten is safe, cuddled and comfortable. Thank you so much for my piece of mind while we were away, especially for all the pictures and updates of what she is doing. Thank you again! ”

With the updates Julie sends on the app it’s brilliant. I would recommend 100%.”

“John went over and above to ensure my stubborn beagle had an engaging daily walk. John was very reliable and my dog loved him! Would highly recommend John as a dog walker and will be booking in with him again.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs & cats since I was 14 and have my own dog myself whilst also working for a pet company! Knowing your pet is being looked after well is of the upmost importance to me. I currently work from home so can do drop ins or walks anytime of the day! As well as weekend help and dog/house sitting for longer periods. I would ensure your dog doesn’t leave my sight and follow any and all rules you gave me! Fully up to you how your dog is taken care of.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for most of my life with the last 6 years predominantly looking after my families Labrador Kobe. I will look after and entertain him at home and also when out on walks. I work part time as a lifeguard and also like to go to the gym but with the rest of my free time I would love to be walking your dogs Will see what your pet requires whether that’s on lead walking the whole way or take them to a safe and trusted fenced in environment where they can run freely with no threat of danger
About: I am a kind, friendly and honest person, and enjoy helping others. I am reliable and have always had a love for animals. Indeed, I have had cats for around 15 years, and several smaller animals in my youth. I currently have an elderly cat who would not accept a dog into the household, so I am keen to walk dogs, until such a day when I can join the dog owning community I love meeting dog owners and friends who have dogs, and I always make a huge fuss of them. They in turn know instinctively that I am a friend, and always respond accordingly, bringing mutual happiness! I live opposite fields, the canal and Boxmoor Trust land, so regularly meet other neighbours/dog walkers, as this is a popular place to exercise dogs. I have walked friends’ dogs from time to time, but I have more time, now that I work part-time from home. I often walk around the Boxmoor Trust land or in around Ashridge Forest in my spare time, and would be happy to collect dogs in and around Hemel Hempstead, Apsley, King’s Langley, Berkhamsted, and Northchurch. I often regularly walk alone, wishing I was walking a dog! Hopefully soon I will be walking dogs more regularly. As a professional and trustworthy person, I will take care of your beloved friend and be punctual for agreed walkies times. I am a softie, and am able to have fun with your dog, while managing and keeping him/her safe. I am an active person and can walk or run with your dog - whatever the breed or athletic ability. I would love to hear from you and look forward to meeting you and your beloved friend. I currently work Monday - Wednesday, but could walk your dog on an evening, especially as the evenings are becoming lighter, and on any of the remaining days. I have a large fenced garden and overlook fields as far as the eye can see! I am a responsible pet owner who is experienced with keeping animals and administering medication to cats. I would take care of your animal with the same consideration and care, that I would my own.
About: Taking care of every type of dog since I was little. Regular house sitting and dog walks for friends, family members and friends of friends. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your furry family members, so I always treat any of them like they're my own. I’m calm, reliable, and great with nervous or high-energy dogs. Whether you need regular walks, pop-in visits, or overnight stays, I can help — and I’m flexible with scheduling! I am full time career for animals so would be able dedicate as much time as you’d like to your furry friend! I’m more than happy to work around your schedule you have with your pet/s in order to not change anything up to much for them.
“We were really struggling for a reliable walker before going on holiday this year. I found Steve on Rover and couldn't have been happier, he came around prior to us leaving to meet Monte and us and made us feel at ease. We trusted him with a key and to feed Monte after walks and we came back to a really happy and healthy dog. Couldn't recommend Steve enough and will be definitely using him again in the future when we require more dog walking and care!”

About: I grew up in a house with 2 dogs so they've always been second-nature to me. During university, I house/pet-sat for multiple families, for both dogs of varying sizes and cats. I have had my 8-year-old pug since she was a puppy so I am very comfortable with both puppies and flat-faced breeds specifically. My dog has unfortunately struggled with varying health problems since she was young, so I am also very experienced with administering different forms of medication and caring for pets with any health concerns. I have recently moved from the US to the UK to join my husband and am currently working part-time. I’m generally available Thursday through Sunday. I am able to abide by any rules you have for caring for your pet in your home. I can take them for walks (on- or off-leash) or just let them into the garden, depending on your preference. I have a lot of experience feeding animals who take multiple medications/supplements, so no instructions are too difficult.
About: With over 9 years of personal experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, I provide attentive, loving care tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Having raised a toy-sized poodle and a golden retriever mix, I’m skilled at handling both small and large breeds. I excel in creating a safe, comfortable environment, whether it’s for energetic puppies, senior dogs requiring extra patience, or pets with specific routines. My dedication, reliability, and genuine love for animals set me apart as a trusted sitter. Caring for pets has always been a natural part of my daily routine. I enjoy dedicating time to walks, play, and providing companionship, ensuring each pet feels loved and well-cared for. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate feeding times, exercise, and any special needs pets may have. Whether it’s a quick drop-in visit or an overnight stay, I prioritize creating a structured yet comforting routine for the pets in my care. In my home, I create a warm and secure environment where pets feel like part of the family. I ensure they have a cozy space to relax, plenty of exercise, and engaging activities to keep them happy. I follow their routines closely, including feeding, walks, and playtime, while offering lots of attention and affection. When caring for pets in a pet owner’s home, I maintain their established routines to minimize stress. I’m respectful of the space, keep it tidy, and communicate regularly with updates and photos to provide peace of mind. My focus is always on the pet’s comfort and well-being, whether at my home or theirs.

I have an enclosed garden and lots of energy to use up with your furry friend! About: I have had dogs in my family since I was a small child. We have had multiple puppies, all the way up until they are elderly - understanding the differences in the care they need. We have had small dogs such as dachshunds and larger dogs such as spaniels & Dalmatians. I currently work full time as a paediatric nurse. I am available every weekend from Friday-Sunday for boarding. I am also available at the weekends for dog walking. We live in a spacious flat with an outside area which has a security gate. We live very closely to multiple different walking spots and love to go on long walks.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and small pets with love and patience—feeding, walking and playing. Trustworthy, attentive, and great with animals. I'm an enthusiastic doggy lover and would love to care for your pup! I'm a University student home for the summer and currently do not have a job whilst I'm home, so I can be available whenever needed, alongside sporting commitments! I am currently unavailable to care for them in my own home due to an allergy with a family member. But, I will make sure to love and care for your pet, and can take them for however many walks they need, and go above and beyond for them!

David provided daily updates with great pictures and I could see how much fun Bear was having. It really added to the enjoyment of our holiday seeing his adventures 😄”

“I had to organise a last-minute trip and was very worried about arranging care for Poppy. After shortlisting a couple of local boarders, I chose Kerri because she was incredibly professional and responsive, which gave me great confidence from the start. About: I’m a university student with a genuine love for dogs and have been looking after pets for family and friends for the past few years while being home from university. Whether your dog loves long walks or just having someone to nap next to, I’ll happily match their pace. I have a large, secure garden with plenty of space to run around, and your dog will get lots of attention and exercise throughout the day. I’ll also keep you updated with photos, so you can see exactly what they’re getting up to. Bonus: I can’t promise your dog won’t come home expecting five-star treatment and extra belly rubs - but I can promise they’ll be safe and treated like part of the family. I’m a University of Reading student, which means when I’m home I have plenty of time and energy to dedicate to your dog. Instead of spending my holidays binge-watching Netflix, I’d much rather be throwing tennis balls, going on walks, and convincing your dog that I’m their new best mate. I live in a detached family home with a large, secure fenced garden that’s perfect for games, cuddles or simply lying in the sun pretending to guard the house. I live with my parents and 13 year old sister, who are all huge dog lovers, so your pup will get plenty of attention.
“Benjamin was fantastic with Cooper! He kept in touch throughout and clearly cared for him like he was his own. Cooper stayed at Benjamin’s house, which was perfect for him, especially the lovely garden that he absolutely loved. Benjamin took him on plenty of long walks with his own dog, and they got on so well together. It’s obvious that Benjamin is really responsible and genuinely loves dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing Cooper was in such good hands, and I’ll definitely be leaving him with Benjamin again!”

“Roxy had a great time, Roberta sent me lots of photos and updates and I know she was so well looked after. You can see that Roberta loves dogs and I felt so confident leaving her there. Roxy will definitely be back thank you”

About: I own 2 dogs and have had dog all my life. In the past I have volunteered at a rescue charity in China whilst working as an English teacher - one of my own dogs was a street dog from China and I brought him back to the UK with me. I’m well known for being a dog lover. One of my favourite past times are having long dog walks in the countryside. I also hold a level 4 in Dog Behaviour, Dog Psychology and Training. Someone is always home with the dogs so there’s always someone to make sure they’re having the best day. We love having dogs around and enjoy building our day around them, from morning and afternoon walks to couch cuddles and playtime in the garden. Your dog will be cared for in a safe, loving home surrounded by dog lovers. We have a large fenced garden with a designated dog area, plus access to our main garden for supervised exploration. Our location on the edge of the Chilterns Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty means countryside walks are just steps away. Our two resident dogs - a playful 5 year old female mastiff and an 8 year old mixed breed are friendly and sociable. Before any booking, I’ll invite you to visit so we can ensure all the dogs are compatible and a great fit. Your pup will receive plenty of love and attention from me, my husband, and our son, who all genuinely adore dogs. We understand every dog is unique and take time with proper introductions to build trust and ensure your dog feels secure and happy. Your dog won’t just be looked after, they’ll be part of our family
