“Anna made us feel really comfortable. We were incredibly anxious about leaving our 9 week old puppy alone in the mornings but she met his before the day and gave us regular updates. We will definitely be contacting her again. She was super reassuring and even alerted us to a weed in our garden we didn't know was toxic. We've had a really easy week because of her and are super thankful.”

About: I've never had my own dog however I lived with my husband dog for a long time, loved and care for him ❤️ sadly he passed away 2 years ago. He was a Yorkshire Terrier very playful 😄 I'm working in a care sector and I am quite flexible, I can care for animal 4 days in 1 week and 3 in another week as my hours are unchanged every week. I can do whole day or just couple of house depending of the needs. I have a 2 bedroom flat, smoke free in the town center very close to the park. I love nature so your animals will be walked around the park as many times as needed and will rest in a clean environment around lovely hosts
“Claire was very helpful with Liam. She sent us pictures of Liam and what he was doing on every visit. This gave us peace of mind that he is keeping alright. Thank you so much. Will definitely rebook again.”

About: I've been a dog owner and in the position where I needed to leave my dogs with someone I trust that will provide the best care. So I know how you feel and make it my mission that every dog is happy and treated as the individual they are in my care. I've looked after dogs in people's homes, at my house, and had dogs stay for the day or need popping in to and walk whilst families are out at work or at family events. The most important part of any dog sitting job I undertake is knowing your dog and what you / the dog needs to be comfortable, if that means sleeping on our bed, no problem. If the dog prefers to have a bed / crate area, we can make that happen in a space you think they'll like. We are a family of 3 (unless you count the goldfish) and have a spacious house and garden. Although it can be loud at times (with a 6 year old), he is very aware of dogs, having lived with our 2 until mid 2025 when we lost our labrador. He knows not all dogs like extremely loud circumstances and he is an excellent ball thrower. Being a labrador and border collie owner, we are used to active dogs and their needs. However, more recently we've had many visits from a mini dachshund who has firmly made himself at home when he's with us. He requires less walks but more cuddles. Not a problem. We have looked after many dog needs in the last 15 years: Labrador(s), Border Collies, Greyhound, Tibetan Terrier, Yorkshire Terrier, Jack Russell(s), Bichon Frisé, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, German Shepherd including multiple cross breeds. I have experience volunteering for a specific sight hound rescue as well as the Animal Transport Network. I love dogs and now my 2 are no longer with us, both having reached nearly 16, it's time to get back to dogs, without having one of our own for a while. More than happy for a visit (essential prior to first booking) to meet your pooch. Thereafter, no problems. A typical day- Breakfast and morning walk Play before school School run with dog, if happy to come (not let unattended at all) Cuddles of sofa / sleep Lunch if required School run in afternoon Dinner & walk All timings based on what you require. On a weekend we are around in the house and tend to go out for a morning / afternoon walk, this might be a drive away. Could be a cafe stop (if your dog is happy with that) or we'll just stay local and walk to Cassiobury Park or down the canal. I currently work part time, 2 and a half days a week but these hours at flexible and can be amended due to the personal requirements you have. I am available Friday afternoon through to Sunday evening. Mon/Weds nights or full weeks with notice to change work around your pets needs. I have a fenced garden, multiple parks and green spaces nearby. An active 6 year old who doesn't tire of playing ball or tuggy. Allowed on sofa, bed, a playroom with kids toys that can be penned off. I can work my day / work around you. If your dog is happy to be left up to 4 hours or not, I can fit in around you. We will walk a dog twice a day unless specified, cuddles if wanted, play, food schedule that you dictate and lots of general fuss.
“Amy looked after our cat Sylvie whilst we were on holiday. Amy is so friendly, caring and highly professional - we had daily video updates whilst we were away and Sylvie really loved Amy. I would 100% recommend using Amy’s cat sitting service and we will definitely be getting Amy back whenever we next go away! Thank you! 😊 x”

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life, growing up with breeds like Chow Chow, Golden Retriever, Samoyed, and Alaskan Malamute, and I currently care for my own Czech Wolfdog. This lifelong experience has given me a deep understanding of dogs’ unique needs and personalities. Additionally, I’ve worked closely with professional dog trainers, which has taught me how to read a dog’s behavior and proactively manage situations during walks to avoid potential triggers. Whether it’s providing companionship, ensuring safety, or catering to the specific needs of different breeds, I’m confident in offering top-notch care for your furry friends. I have extensive experience caring for medium and large-breed dogs, having raised several over the years, and I am currently living with a Czech Wolfdog and a maine coon. We live in an excellent area with access to large parks and beautiful nature spots. I regularly take dogs out for long walks, hikes, and play sessions, whether by car or on foot. Ellie is a fantastic cat sitter. My Cat Neko was very happy with her too. She did a pre visit before I went away to get to know where everything was. She sent me loads of great videos and photos during the twice daily visits of how Neko was getting on while I was away. I would highly recommend Ellie and will definitely be using her services again.

Ayesha took amazing care of my cat Priscilla while I was abroad. She sent regular updates and photos and Priscilla looked so happy and relaxed which really put my mind at ease. I returned to a very happy cat and would definitely recommend Ayesha’s cat sitting services!

Katie has been absolutely amazing. We received multiple pictures and videos at every visit and our cat felt super comfortable with her. I was so glad she was there to offer him some company besides the regular feeding and litter tasks, as he’s very affectionate and needs lots of attention. We will 100% ask for Katie again for our next holiday!

Monica was incredibly helpful, reliable and very good at what she does. She kept us updated throughout, which gave us real peace of mind. She went above and beyond by bringing pet food when our cat went off his usual food. Ensuring our cat was happy and well cared for. We would absolutely recommend her and will definitely use her again.

We have used a few catteries in the past, but always felt that our cat, Martha, wasn't quite herself when we got her home. This is the first time we've used a cat sitting service and we are so happy with how it went. Anastasia sent us updates, photos and videos. Martha clearly loved the 1:1 attention, ate well and was clearly comfortable staying in her own home. We highly recommend Anastasia and hope she's available next time we're away!

Amazing... from the first meet, anas aura about our cats was amazing. She has an amazing heart and super caring. Kept us in the loop all the time in our babies and was so kind, especially as our gizmo has started dementia. We really thank you ana for your care towards our fur babies!

We booked Ellen for a week of daily drop-ins for our cat, Tilly, and we couldn't be happier. Everyday, Ellen changed Tilly's water, gave her a wet food pouch, cleared her litter tray and played with her. Ellen was always very responsive, punctual and kept us up to date with photos. We'd be more than happy to have her cat sit again when we're next away. She has our highest recommendation.

Denisa did an amazing job and we couldn’t asked for a better sitter for our cat Taki. We were away abroad and it was such a peace of mind knowing that Taki was so well looked after. From daily visits, updates, video, photos and messages , everything was excellent!! It’s clear that Taki was loved, happy and comfortable ! Thank you so much for looking after Taki as he was your own cat 😊 Will definitely book Denisa again and we recommend her to everyone who might need a cat sitter that is trustworthy and genuinely caring to look after their pet.
We are pleased to provide this reference for Amy, who cared for our two cats, while we were away. Amy was professional, reliable, and clearly experienced with animals. She ensured our cats were well cared for, handling feeding, litter maintenance, and giving them plenty of attention. Amy kept us updated with regular messages and photos, giving us peace of mind. When we returned, both cats were happy and relaxed. We highly recommend Amy to anyone seeking a trustworthy and caring cat sitter and would gladly use her services again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
