Hi, I’m Rita. My experience with animals began growing up on a farm, where caring for animals was part of everyday life. Since then, animals have always been a big part of my world. I’ve had both dogs and cats of my own, volunteered for several years with the Animal Welfare Trust in Watford, and cared for different dogs through BorrowMyDoggy. These experiences have helped me understand how unique every pet is. I’m calm, patient, and reliable, and I take time to get to know each pet so they feel safe and comfortable in my care. Whether it’s a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, I provide attentive care tailored to your pet’s routine and personality. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own, and I look forward to meeting you both.

Safety, trust & environment
I understand how important it is to trust someone caring for your pet and entering your home. Your pet’s safety, wellbeing and routine are always my top priority. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding, routines, and any specific care requirements. I have been DBS checked, and I aim to provide a calm, reliable and respectful service at all times. During visits, I will provide updates and photos so you can feel reassured that your pet is happy and well cared for. For safety, dogs are always walked on a lead unless the owner has specifically requested otherwise and provided clear recall instructions.

Rita was absolutely incredible and we couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Rafi and Basuki. Rita house-sat for us for six days while we were away, and from the moment she arrived we felt completely at ease. She took such wonderful care of both of our cats, giving them lots of attention and making sure they were happy, comfortable and well looked after. One of the things we appreciated most was that Rita sent us updates twice a day, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. It was lovely seeing how settled and happy the cats were, and knowing that they were in such good hands. She also took fantastic care of our home and left everything beautifully looked after. Rita was responsible, thoughtful, considerate and incredibly trustworthy. By the end of the six days, we felt like we had found someone we could genuinely trust with both our cats and our home. And the biggest compliment probably came from Rafi and Basuki themselves! When we got home, they actually went and slept on Rita’s bed in the spare room, as though they were waiting for her to come back. 😂 They clearly missed her! We would 100% ask Rita to look after them again and would have absolutely no hesitation recommending her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitter. Thank you so much, Rita. You were incredible, and we hope you’ll look after Rafi and Basuki again the next time we go away!
Rita looked after my 3 cats for 6 days and despite some initial hesitation they were all interacting and playing with her by day 4 which is a very positive outcome. I received plenty of photos, videos, and updates.
We couldn’t recommend Rita highly enough! ❤️ She looked after our Springer Spaniel, Teddy, for 10 days, and from the very beginning she was absolutely wonderful. We received daily updates, photos and little glimpses of how Teddy was getting on, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was hard for us initially, as we had never left Teddy with someone we didn’t know before. But Rita quickly put us at ease, and it was clear how much love, care and attention she gave our Teddy boy. 🐾❤️ We honestly think Teddy is missing her now that she’s gone — he’s been a little sad since she left! 🥹 We’re so grateful we found Rita. We’ll definitely be keeping in touch, because we feel like we’ve not only found someone we completely trust with Teddy, but also a lovely new friend who shares the same love for our very special boy. ❤️ Thank you, Rita, for taking such amazing care of Teddy. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better! 🐶💕
We were initially very worried about asking someone we didn’t know come into the house to take Jake for a walk. However we had nothing to worry about as Rita is a trustworthy and reliable person, whom we have been using for just over a now. He is a big dog and can be boystress so we are lucky Rita has the experience to walk a large dog, no problem.
Can't recommend Rita highly enough, she has been a real star. Milo is so excited to see her and loves going on adventures with her. Rita is very trustworthy and I dont know what I would do without her.
I’ve been using Rita for dog walking and pet sitting and couldn't be happier. She is incredibly reliable—always on time and keeps me updated with photos and notes. Her genuine care and calm temperament put my dogs at ease immediately, and I trust her completely with my home and pets. Schedule
I am flexible and able to provide pet care throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I am also happy to care for both cats and dogs and can adapt to different routines depending on each pet’s individual needs. I am available for dog walking and drop-in visits during the day, and I am also open to discussing house sitting arrangements depending on each pet’s requirements and routine. I always aim to be reliable, responsive, and clear when arranging bookings.
