“So happy to have found Maria. Her energy is calm which is perfect for my nervous cats. For once, they didn’t run away as they usually do with my previous cat sitter. Maria is brilliant - do book her if you get the chance!”

“Caroline looked after Alfie and Toulouse for a week, and we couldn’t be happier. She truly is a cat whisperer — even our shy one, who rarely comes out for anyone, happily went to her at every visit. We received lovely videos and photos, which was such a thoughtful touch. Thank you, Caroline. We will definitely be booking with you again!😸🌺🩷”

About: Hi, I’m Kat! North London HR professional and dog lover who shares my home with Thoth, my 5-year-old Norwegian Forest cat. I have strong experience with senior dogs – particularly caring for an elderly Shih Tzu, managing his daily medication and special care needs. My experience includes: - Dogs from 6-month-old puppies to 14-year-olds - All breeds, all ages – I adapt to each dog's individual needs I work for a defence company (fully vetted) and offer some weekday/evening/weekend walks, drop-ins, house sitting, or overnight boarding (my place or yours). Medication management, gentle routines, personalised care – I treat every dog like my own! I work full-time in a hybrid role (3 days WFH), so I have flexible availability: - WFH days: Extra time for walks/drop-ins, or I can stay at your place (with WiFi access) - Weekdays: Available after 5pm + overnights when needed - Weekends: Free Fri–Sun, all day and night In my North London home: Thoth (my curious indoor Norwegian Forest cat) stays indoors but loves watching garden visitors from the window. The garden door stays closed, but we have a secure communal garden (fully fenced, no street access) if your dog needs space to play. No other pets nearby – neighbours don’t own pets, so it’s a calm environment. Parks nearby – just a quick 10–15 min walk away for exercise and fresh air. In your home (house sitting): I follow your routines exactly – feeding, medication, walks, playtime. Secure doors/windows always checked; I treat your home like my own. Happy to water plants, bring in post, or do light housework too.

About: Hi, I’m Lulu. I’m 29 and based in North London. With my own house currently dog-free, I’d love to fill it with furry friends by offering boarding / day care. I’ve grown up around dogs and have loved them all my life. For my fourth birthday, my parents gifted me my first dog, Badger, a Border Collie mix and since then I’ve always lived with dogs. Over the years, I’ve had Murphy, my rescue terrier from Ireland, and more recently Nelly and Heath, two funny rescues from Romania who now live with my parents. I work fully remotely for my family business, which means I’m based at home on the weekdays and very present throughout the day. I spend a lot of time at home, so your pet will have plenty of company and attention. I have a fully fenced garden that’s great for safe outdoor play, roaming around, and regular pee/poo breaks. There are plenty of toys and treats to keep dogs happy and entertained, and the back door locks securely. If needed, I’m happy to leave the radio on at night for comfort. Pets are welcome to curl up on the sofa or wander freely through the house: bedrooms, office, bathroom, and even the top of the stairs (always a favourite spot for my own dogs!). Ultimately, I want them to enjoy themselves and relax wherever they feel most comfortable.
“We’ve booked Roxanne a few times and will definitely keep booking her - she is always super reliable and nice to work with. Our cat is very skittish and spends most of her time hiding from strangers, but she eventually warmed up to Roxanne. Highly recommend!”

About: Firstly just to say I'm obsessed with dogs and joined Rover so I can be around them more! I'm lucky to have a Cavapoo (born: Dec 2019) and he is by far the best decision my family ever made! I'm very experienced with dogs as grew up with all types... my family, at various points, had an Old English Sheepdog, an Alsation, a standard Poodle and an Akita. Now I look after some of my friends dogs whenever they need help, whether it be for a few hours or a couple of weeks. Not much in life gives me more pleasure than having two or three dogs lying on me on the couch whilst watching TV or sleeping on the bed with us! Rest assured your dog will have a very loving 2nd home with us in a lovely house and being spoilt by a dog loving family! I run my own business and work from home in Whetstone whilst looking after my own Cavapoo too! I'm generally always around to help any day of the week :) I have a very happy, well-trained Cavapoo at home who has the freedom of the house! Our home is safe and secure and our garden is large and fully enclosed plus we have astro so no muddy footprints!
“Lucia was amazing with our cat! They got along instantly, and his affection for her showed in the daily photos she sent us. Her daily updates on our cat's well-being were sweet and informative. She was very professional, accomodating and flexible. The perfect cat-sitter for our Christmas holiday trip. We'll definitely be using her services again!”

“Jade was excellent. She took the time to come meet the cats ahead of the cat sitting and spend time listening to us ramble on about all their quirks. The cats warmed up to her quickly. She was very communicative and sent updates every day with videos and pictures. There were no issues and she held onto keys in case of travel disturbances. Great!”

About: Hello! I'm a 38-year-old lifelong pet enthusiast with hands-on experience caring for everything from brand-new puppies and senior rescues to independent felines. These days, I share my life with a wonderful Great Dane—so if you have a large breed, I'm already a pro at handling them! I truly adore pets of all shapes and sizes, though, and I'm just as happy cozying up with a purring cat as I am walking a big dog. Whether you need a reliable daily dog walker, someone to drop in for kitty cuddles and potty breaks, or a trustworthy house sitter while you travel, I’ve got you covered. My goal is to give you total peace of mind while making sure your furry best friends are safe, happy, and well cared for. Because I work night shifts, I have fantastic daytime and weekend availability to care for your pets! Monday through Thursday, I am available from midday until 8:00 PM. On Fridays and Saturdays, my schedule is completely open, so I am available all day. On Sundays, I can cover visits and walks from early in the morning up until 8:00 PM. This routine makes me a great fit for lunchtime drop-ins, afternoon walks, and dedicated weekend house sitting. Safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. When caring for pets in your home, I am extremely respectful of your space, always double-checking that doors are locked, gates are closed, and the home is exactly as you left it. On walks, I am highly vigilant of our surroundings and ensure collars and harnesses are secure. As a Great Dane owner, I'm confident handling strong pullers and unexpected situations. I also believe in excellent communication, so you can always expect detailed updates and plenty of photos!
About: I have over five years of experience caring for dogs and cats of all sizes - providing feeding, walking, medication, and plenty of love. Please note: To keep things running smoothly, I archive requests that haven't received a response. Leaving a request 'hanging' unfortunately removes my profile from search results and prevents others from booking, so I must clear inactive chats to stay visible Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I schedule my day around feeding times, walks, play sessions, and any specific needs each pet has. Whether it’s morning cuddles, midday check-ins, or evening strolls, caring for animals brings structure and joy to my day. It’s something I genuinely love and look forward to. I care for pets with the same love and attention I’d give my own. Whether in my home or a pet owner’s, I stick to their routine - feeding, walks, playtime, and any special needs like medications. I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and never lonely, keeping communication open with daily updates and photos for peace of mind.
About: I have owned pets since I was young so understand the responsibility of looking after an animal. I grew up with my family staffi x who we adopted around 11/12 years ago, she is a nervous reactive dog so I have experience and some basic training from the rspca in that area. Through out my life I have looked after cats and dogs while my friends or family have been on holiday or away, taking care of their daily needs. I previously experience helping my friend who has her own dog sitting business, assisting with walks and making sure they get exercise, plenty of play time and of course cuddles and treats, doing this is what inspired me to make my rover profile. I currently work part time (tues, wed, thurs) with a charity so I have two free days during the week that I would love to fill doing something I enjoy. With my job I do two days in the office and one day from home so I am able to do weekday stays as long as your pet is able to be left for around four hours two days of the week. Happy to also available to do weekends, arrange with plenty of notice. Every animal is different so I will make it my mission to build a trusting relationship with your pet, tailoring myself to their needs and always following instructions from the owner as they know their animal best.
“It was our first time using Rover to find a cat sitter whilst we went away for a few days. Michelle came as top recommended in our area, and clearly that title is well earned! She kept us informed every time she checked on the cats with regular photos/comments. We came back to clean litter trays & happy cats. Thanks Michelle!”

About: I am an animal lover and feel happiest in the presence of animals. Because of this, I am the go-to petsitter of my friends. I have flown to Italy on 2 occasions to look after my friends rabbit. I have experience with reptiles as I had a corn snake for 11 years. I am a dog person but have never had my own dog, so I'm always happy when my friends ask me to pet sit their dogs. I have a full time job, so weekends are best. My work hours vary, but feel free to enquire about weekday evenings as I may be available. I am happy to try and be flexible to accommodate your booking. I'm not on boarding pets in my own home, but I always make the dog feel comfortable in their own home with me in it.
About: I grew up with dogs and currently have a gorgeous 2.5 year old Doberman. We’ve breed and trained over the years so I’m very well rehearsed in the care and attention needed for your little side kick. I also have a mischievous little tortoise, and have had cats and fish. I’m self employed and work from home so have plenty of opportunity to help. I only have the occasional commitment around school pick up. Always open to a discussion. As I would be visiting your home I am happy to abide by any rules that are set and anything I can do to help install your trust in me, I’m happy to discuss prior to making a booking.

About: I love animals - I grew up in quite a menagerie, with 3 big dogs (Ridgebacks), a cat, fish, rat, tortoise, and birds! I spent a lot of time around Alsatians growing up (they are one of my fav breeds) and love spending time with and making friends with dogs. I would love to have a dog of my own but unfortunately can't at the moment. I have had a cat for 9 years and am experienced in animal care - I've looked after friends guinea pigs for the past few years when they are away (including administering medication) and also have looked after their dog (who has anxiety and behaviour issues). I am very active and love being outdoors, so if a regular walk/play session isn't enough, I can also take your dog on a 5km run, or even offer a longer exercise session (where I cycle)! I am flexible and attentive, and will adapt sessions to make sure your dog is happy and getting what they need, and that you feel reassured that your dog is in good hands. I am working as a freelancer so can be quite flexible around timings. I'm also available for house-sitting as well to look after your pets when you're away. In your home I will care for your pets the way you ask me to, and will maintain any training/ feeding/ exercise routines you have established.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Barnet
We left our 8 month old Maine Coon kitten in the care of Ashleigh for a week. She was absolutely superb, caring and diligent throughout that time. Ashleigh visited twice a day, and spent lots of time playing with our kitten as well as ensuring she was well fed and healthy. After each visit she’d send pictures / videos with details of the day’s activities. Incredibly professional and completely gave us peace of mind. We will certainly be using Ashleigh’s services again.

May took wonderful care of my two cats, Brixie and Abrykoska, for four days. Every single day she sent lots of video updates, which put my mind completely at ease while I was away. She was also very easy to communicate with and always replied to my messages quickly. On top of that, she spent a lot of time playing with Brixie, which I really appreciated. I would happily book May again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter.

Very experienced, reliable cat sitter. We booked Dean for our two kittens who can’t leave the house, and our holiday coincided with a heatwave. He made sure they were kept as cool as possible, even adapting his visit schedule to work around these demands. He provided regular updates throughout the week which was very reassuring.
We had Helen come and drop in on our 2 cats while we did a short stay away recently (4 nights) and she was simply superb. We were a bit anxious about leaving them, as our cats can be quite anxious and scared of new people, but in Helen’s hands we had nothing to worry about! Lots of wonderful photo updates - and Helen and the cats got along like a house on fire! Helen even managed to lure our very anxious boy cat out of hiding. We will 100% be looking to Helen for future cat sitting visits and recommend you do the same - very highly recommend! :)

We could not be happier with how Beccy looked after our cat while we were away on holiday. She followed all our instructions and, over and above that, spent lots of time with her and did everything she could to make her feel happy and cared for. She meticulously updated us after every visit, and also regularly sent pictures and videos. Beccy loves animals, and knows how to care for them.

I'd give Vlatka 6 stars out of 5 if I could. One of our boys is naughty and sometimes escapes from the garden but Vlatka handled that great, let us know what was happening, double checked all the spots where he could be getting out while giving the other one a lot of attention and play time. Really cannot recommend enough.
Diana was amazing! I had to be away from my location because of an urgent family situation, and she took great care of my cat every day. My situation was a little difficult because I had some problems with my landlord, who even closed my room window so my cat couldn't easily get to the food. Diana contacted me straight away, called me on video, opened the window again, and made sure my cat could eat and drink properly. She sent me updates every day, always arrived on time, and kept me informed about everything. This gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She is kind, reliable, caring, and really loves animals. She went above and beyond what I expected. I completely trusted her with my cat and my home. I highly recommend Diana to anyone looking for a fantastic cat sitter. Thank you so much, Diana!

We’ve booked Roxanne a few times and will definitely keep booking her - she is always super reliable and nice to work with. Our cat is very skittish and spends most of her time hiding from strangers, but she eventually warmed up to Roxanne. Highly recommend!

Krystal looked after our cat for 4 days, and we highly recommend her. She made sure she got to know him and his routine and then spent lots of time with him at each visit, making sure he got plenty of play and cuddles and wasn’t lonely. She is clearly a very kind, caring person and his response to her was very evident from the photos she shared. We felt very confident with him in her care. Thank you!

Jinny was really excellent with drop in visits over our weekend away. She kept us updated with lots of pictures and videos, and was excellent with our shy / anxious cat who warmed up to her very quickly. She was really communicative and reliable, and we didn't have to worry at all whilst we were away. Thanks Jinny!

Daisy is excellent in every way! Really reliable, organised, great communication, no problems whatsoever. She was brilliant with our dog, kept him very safe and happy, lots of play time and cuddles and we were completely at ease knowing Daisy was taking care of him. No hesitation in recommending Daisy :)

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
