About: Hello! I’m Shanshan. I live in Wembley with my husband, we have a 5-year-old rescue dog, Badun. My passion for dogs started in Beijing, where I spent several years as a volunteer at a dog rescue station. I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes and sizes, helping them recover and find new homes. In fact, I rescued Badun myself from an abandoned construction site! She has traveled with me across three countries—Beijing to Tokyo, and now London. Badun is very calm and loves having new friends come to stay! Why Pick Me? • Patience & Behavioral Expertise: I have a "calm energy" and am highly observant of dog body language. Having worked with many rescues and puppies, I am incredibly patient with dogs and always willing to go the extra mile to help a dog feel safe. • Scientific Care & Respect for Routine: I believe in "Scientific Dog Raising" (Positive Reinforcement) and understand that a consistent routine is a dog's "safety net." My professional background makes me deeply responsible; I will follow your feeding, walking, and nap schedules with 100% accuracy. • Constant Companionship: Since I am currently based at home full time, I can provide your pet with constant attention and companionship. Your dog won't be left alone and will have my full focus throughout the day. I am currently preparing for my exams, which means I am home almost every day. This allows me to provide constant companionship and plenty of playtime for your dogs. I am very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate boarding during the week and on weekends, ensuring your pet is never left alone for long periods. I live in a secure environment in Wembley where your dog’s safety is my top priority. I have my own dog, Badun, who is very calm and friendly. Your pets can play and rest anywhere—the sofa, the bed, or in a crate if they prefer. There is a small garden and a dog-run area right below the apartment which is perfect for toilet breaks, and the neighborhood is very friendly for longer dog walks.

About: Hi! This is Bob here. I’m a dedicated dog lover and the proud owner of a 11-month-old Miniature Dachshund who is friendly, confident, and very well trained. Since bringing him home, we’ve attended multiple professional training classes, covering everything from basic obedience and recall to outdoor socialisation and structured play. Training has become a big part of our daily routine, and I truly enjoy understanding dog behaviour and creating positive experiences for every dog I meet. My little dachshund is full of energy and loves making new friends, making him a wonderful companion for dogs who enjoy playtime and social interaction. Whether your dog prefers long walks, games in the park, or simply relaxing at home, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll always provide a safe, loving, and structured environment, treating every dog as if they were my own. 🐾 Experienced with recall training & outdoor activities 🐾 Comfortable with high-energy dogs and structured play 🐾 Patient, responsible, and attentive to individual needs 🐾 Regular photo and video updates for peace of mind I work full-time with a consistent schedule, but I don’t start work until around 11:00 am and usually finish between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. This means your dog will still enjoy plenty of quality time with us every day, including morning walks, playtime, enrichment activities, and a relaxing evening routine. Weekends are completely free, so I’m available for full-day care, boarding, and longer stays. I love spending weekends outdoors, whether that’s exploring parks, going on long walks, or enjoying fun play sessions with the dogs. 🐾 Weekdays: Morning care until 11:00 am & evening care from 5:00–6:00 pm onwards 🐾 Weekends: Fully available for boarding, daycare, walks, and overnight stays Your dog will stay in a clean, safe, and calm apartment environment, sharing the space with my friendly and well-trained Miniature Dachshund. Dogs are never left without companionship for long periods and will be part of our daily routine, enjoying plenty of interaction, playtime, and enrichment activities. Although we don’t have a private garden, we provide regular outdoor walks, exercise, and toilet breaks throughout the day, ensuring every dog gets the physical activity and mental stimulation they need. For each dog’s comfort and safety, I also have a crate available if needed. It is never used as punishment, but as a quiet, secure space for rest, feeding, or when dogs need some personal time, following the owner’s preferences and the dog’s individual needs. 🐾 Safe and pet-friendly apartment 🐾 Regular walks and outdoor activities 🐾 Constant companionship with me and my well-trained Miniature Dachshund 🐾 Crate available for safe management and relaxation if required

Nicol was amazing with our cat! She is super professional and made sure Cookie had everything she needed everyday while we were away. It was the first time we left her home alone for a holiday and we were quite anxious, but after seeing how fantastic Nicol was being with her we felt super relived! Honestly we couldn’t recommend Nicol enough!

About: My family always had dogs since I can remember and at some point we also had a cat, a myna and a parrot. I was always surrounded by animals growing up and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I am also a children’s nurse so I can quickly pick up on and cater to any medical needs for your pet. I work full time and do shift work but on my day offs, I would love to spend time with some furry friends and give them all the love they need! I live in a flat with another girl who loves animal as well. I can cater to your pet’s specific needs as I do know that every pet is different and would needed to be communicated clearly.

About: Hey! I'm Katie, 28 years old and have had experience with animals since I can remember, although have taken a very responsible role in looking after them for over 5 years. I am extremely passionate about animals and spent my time looking after my parents 4 dogs and cats. However, I've moved out since then and miss the company of an adorable pal. I have had experience looking after others dogs. I enjoy long walks, grooming, playing games as I can have a childish side. I can bathe dogs, give oral medicines and provide a warm and loving care for your pet. In sitting, making sure you know your pet is safe is the most important thing and I can assure you I'm well aware of my responsibilites. Your animal will have tons of fun, mountains of love. I can provide regular toilet breaks and with walking there is plenty of greenery by where I live which will ensure your pet gets all exercise needed. I work part time so Thursdays and Fridays and other days I'm at home with my daughter and exploring the outdoors. When I have the responsibilities of house sitting I will always ensure that your pet has my attention and will be there to keep them happy. In regards to walks me and my daughter enjoy going out and getting the exercise which will be easy throughout my day. There are no dangers to be made aware of, I am a very attentive person and will provide your dog with the best care and love.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for as long as I can remember, but my most meaningful experience comes from raising my own. I adopted my dog, Pablo when he was just 20 days old, found on the streets and in need of a home. Over the past 8 years, I’ve nurtured him through every stage of life — from bottle-feeding and puppy training to understanding the unique needs of a senior dog. That journey taught me far more than books ever could: how to read a dog’s tones and body language almost like second nature, how to sense their moods and needs, and how to create an environment where they feel safe, understood, and loved. I’ve become confident in puppy care (feeding, socialization, toilet training), as well as the patience and attentiveness required for older dogs. Nutrition, exercise, and overall well-being are areas I’m especially mindful of ; knowing what works, what doesn’t, and how to adapt care to the individual dog. What truly sets me apart is that I don’t see pet sitting as a service — I treat every dog as if they were my own. Their comfort, happiness, and health always come first. Hello! My name is Supti, and I’m a friendly, approachable, and devoted dog lover who connects easily with pets. I truly enjoy spending time with animals and have a natural ability to understand their moods, body language, and needs, which helps me make every dog feel comfortable and cared for. I offer pet boarding, doggy day care, and dog walking, tailoring activities to each pet’s personality - from long walks and runs to games like fetch or frisbee, or just quiet cuddle time for those who prefer calm company. My pet care experience began years ago back in India, during my bachelor’s degree. Alongside helping friends and neighbors with their pets, I also adopted my own dog when he was just 20 days old. Raising him from a tiny street puppy into a healthy, happy adult taught me everything from basic puppy care, training, and feeding routines to understanding dog behavior, health needs, and the special patience senior dogs require. That hands-on journey has shaped the way I approach every dog I look after - with attentiveness, empathy, and love. Currently, I’m pursuing my MSc at the University of Surrey and I don’t have any other part-time commitments. This means I’m available throughout the week with flexible hours, and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care. All I ask is a day’s notice to make arrangements. When your dog is with me, you can be sure they’ll be treated like family - cared for, played with, and kept safe at all times. Their happiness and comfort are always my first priority. I live in a bright, airy one-bedroom flat in a very pet-friendly community. The space is calm and welcoming, with plenty of space for dogs to feel comfortable and at ease. My partner lives with me, so there’s always an extra pair of hands (and extra affection!) available when caring for pets. And your fur baby is welcome to sleep with us in bed! The area around my home is ideal for walks, with safe, scenic routes and green spaces where dogs can enjoy fresh air and exercise. I make sure to tailor each walk to the dog’s age, energy level, and personality - whether that means a gentle stroll for a senior dog or a playful, engaging walk for a puppy.

About: What sets me apart is how personal I make every dog’s care. I don’t just watch dogs, I build a bond with them. I take time to understand each pup’s personality, routine, and quirks so they feel safe, loved, and genuinely happy. I keep owners updated with photos and messages, so you always know your dog’s in good hands. With years of experience and a calm, caring approach, I treat every dog like they’re my own. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around walk times, feeding, and play, so every dog gets consistent attention and care throughout the day. Whether it’s morning walks, checking on food during the day or evening cuddles, there’s always time for your pup. In my home, dogs get a safe, clean, and relaxed space where they can play, rest, and feel comfortable. I stick closely to their normal routines so same feeding times, walk lengths, and any rules the owner sets. When I’m caring for pets in their owner’s home, I make sure to respect the space and follow all instructions carefully also keeping things tidy and ensuring the dog feels secure in their familiar environment. Either way, every dog gets plenty of love, attention, and regular updates sent to their owner.

About: I’ve grown up with French Bulldogs since I was five, as my parents have always had them at home. They currently have two Frenchies, including one adopted dog who had behavioural issues, which taught me to be patient and understanding of dogs with different personalities and needs. I’ve also volunteered at an animal shelter caring for abused animals, where I cleaned kennels and took dogs for walks. In addition, I’ve previously dog-sat a variety of breeds and sizes, from Golden Retrievers to Toy Poodles. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different temperaments and always aim to make them feel safe, happy and well cared for. I have experience with cats too. I’m currently in the process of transitioning between jobs, which means I have plenty of availability and can dedicate a lot of time to caring for your dog. I live in a secure apartment with access to several private terraces where dogs can safely enjoy some outdoor space. The Wembley area has plenty of options for dog walking, and I also love taking dogs to Hampstead Heath and other nearby parks for longer walks and plenty of exercise.

Alberto is EVERYTHING we wanted in a sitter! He’s punctual, clean, communicative and very precise. But more than any of this, he treated our cats exactly as we would, and our cats loved him! He really has a way with them - he gave each of them equal amounts of time, and he played and kept them engaged. They were so calm and relaxed when we came back as though they hadn’t been left alone at all, and it just gave us so much peace knowing they were being so well looked after. To find someone who genuinely cares for cats is very rare, and I’m so glad we found him. Needless to say, Alberto is going to be our go-to sitter every time we need to go somewhere.

She took exceptional care of my cats while I was away, visiting them twice a day, playing with them, and carefully following all of my instructions for their feeding, routines, and wellbeing. She was incredibly attentive, caring, and reliable, which gave me complete peace of mind. What truly sets her apart is her kindness and genuine love for animals. When one of my cats became ill during my absence, she went above and beyond, providing extra care and attention and even cooking chicken soup for him to help with his recovery. Her compassion, dedication, and thoughtfulness meant the world to me. Beyond being an outstanding pet sitter, she is a fantastic human being: kind, trustworthy, considerate, and deeply caring. It is obvious that she truly loves animals and treats them as if they were her own. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for someone to care for their cats or other pets. The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Wembley pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wembley choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:

  • 89% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 89% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
