I am a freelancer, so I'm very flexible with visit times and can easily pop round for visits at (almost) any time of the day and evening. I can work from home too if you'd like. Evenings and weekends are also free most times for cat sitting 🐈 I tend to travel during shoulder seasons, which means I'm usually available throughout summer and December when most people need cat care :) My schedule allows me to adapt to what works best for each cat, whether they prefer early morning feeds or later evening visits.

Safety, trust & environment

Since I only offer visits in owners' homes, I focus on keeping cats comfortable in their familiar environment. I always secure doors and windows properly, keep toxic plants or small objects out of reach, and follow any specific safety instructions you provide. Before the first visit, I like to go through your cat's routine, any house quirks (like tricky locks or temperamental heating), and get your vet's details just in case. I'm pet first aid certified, which gives me confidence handling minor issues, though I'd always contact you first if anything seems off. I respect both your home and your cat's space; I know that some cats warm up immediately, others need time. I let them set the pace while making sure they're fed, safe, and have clean litter. You'll get updates after each visit so you know everything's running smoothly 😌

Information Samanta C. would like to know about your pet

The more I know about your cat, the better I can care for them 🧶 Really helpful things include: ▸ Their usual feeding times and portions, any foods they absolutely love or hate? ▸ Where they like to hide when nervous? ▸ Any medical conditions or medications? ▸ Your vet's details ▸ Are they indoor only? ▸ Do they have favourite toys or specific play preferences? ▸ Are they escape artists when doors open? ▸ Do they get along with other cats if you have multiple? ▸ Any areas of the house that are off-limits? So, yes, don't be afraid to mention all those little details that make your cat unique. Even things like 'Hates having their paws touched' or 'Will only eat if you stay in the room' help me provide better care ❤️

A typical day

Each visit starts with the essentials: fresh food and water, clean litter, and a quick health check. After that, it really depends on the cat's personality! For playful cats, I'll bring out their favourite toys, whether it's a feather wand, laser pointer, or crinkly balls, etc. For the cuddly types, I'm always happy to settle in for some lap time and brushing. The shy ones set their own pace, as some of you may well know! Sometimes I'll just sit nearby reading or checking my phone while they get used to me. By the third or fourth visit, I can say that even the nervous ones usually venture out for treats or a quick play. I always end with a tidy up and send you a photo and video update, usually featuring your cat doing something goofy and/or adorable. Or completely ignoring me, both are equally valid cat moods!

Cat care experience

I fell into cat-sitting thanks to Birba, my parents' outdoor cat who showed me I had a real connection with felines. These days, I share my London flat with Gnocchi, my 4 yo tuxedo who keeps life interesting with his antics. I'm pet first aid certified* and genuinely enjoy spending time with cats, whether they're shy, playful, or somewhere in between. I treat every cat as if they were my own, with patience, respect, and genuine care I'll make sure your cat feels comfortable and stick to their usual routine as much as possible. *Pet First Aid Level 2 (VTQ) Certificate Cat Care Level 2 (VTQ) Certificate What I offer: 🐈‍⬛ Daily visits for feeding, litter changes, and fresh water 🧶 Playtime and cuddles (or respectful space for the independent types) 💊 Basic grooming and medication admin (pills/liquids - no injections) 📸 Regular updates with photos and videos, so you know they're doing well 🌱 Plant watering, mail collection, and general home security while you're away 🔎 Happy to share references from families I sit for regularly I understand every cat has their own personality and preferences. Just let me know what works best for yours, and I'll take it from there. I am based in West London but can easily reach Central, East, North and South London.

Samatha was absolutely amazing! She sent regular photos and videos of my bebes from her visits. Both cats were well looked after, and played with, and cuddled. Will definitely be booking her again.
