I am a freelance assistant working in the creative industry as my background and passion is Photography, this leaves plenty of time in my week for caring for your pet as jobs for me don't come on a regular schedule. As I currently live at home overnight boarding isn't possible yet but pet sitting and walking is definitely a service I can provide. I'm very flexible with timings as long as your pet can be left for a minimum of 3 hours so I can engage with my other passion, health and fitness because just as important as it is to keep our pets healthy I need exercise daily too! I'm really open with my dates and times when I'm not working I have almost endless free time to dedicate to caring for your furry loved one!

I have a German Shepard but she lives majority of the time with her other pet parent 5 minutes drive away so although your pet can have a friendly play mate its also avoidable if necessary. I can provide a crate if needed. My garden is fenced and I have multiple parks very close by as well as access to private land where being off lead is very safe. Kaia has had a few health dramas in her short life so have had practise in administrating oral meds, sometimes tablets that had to have been wrapped in chicken or cheese!

Information Caitlin D. would like to know about your pet

Any and all information that would give your dog the best experience possible would be great, favourite games, things to avoid, prey drive, favourite treats, energy levels at home, special requests for travel or training, any triggers or anything else that I need to know that makes your dog their best self!

A typical day

Physical exercise is super important for all dogs but mental stimulation is something I've found my dog really loves, games that encourage them to use their nose to find treats or toys are great fun and tend to tire out high energy dogs quicker. I love exploring forest areas near me there's plenty of safe space to run and sniff and sometimes even swim!

Worry-free care for your bestfriend

Pet care experience

Hi! I'm Caitlin I’m 25 and my favourite way to spend time is outdoors, come rain or shine and training my 18month German shepherd called Kaia- who’s super friendly but can be quite anxious at times. So I have spent lots of time and energy into learning from others how to specifically train/help her with her anxiety around other dogs and separation from the pack. If this is a trait that your pet has then I can understand how hard it is to leave them with a stranger however I believe my experiences makes me the perfect sitter/walker for any type of dog even those who struggle with confidence. Saying that playtime and cuddles will always be my favourite part of the day! I have experience with walking lots of different breeds of dogs when doing favours for family and friends and have also experience of dog sitting for two lovely pups who’s favourite game was running after a laser pen! Even though I wasn't fortunate enough to grow up with pets at home (not from a lack of begging at every Christmas and birthday...) my favourite holidays were ones where I could visit family with pets that I could walk, train and pretend were my own, from a very young age I was building the foundations of the essential qualities needed to have a pet.

Caitlin has looked after our 2 dogs. A medium sized and a small dog, lively and both with completely different personalties! She was amazing with them, and I didn’t worry about them at all when we were away, because I felt so confident that she was going to look after them so well. Caitlin even sent me a photo of them on my phone. We will definitely be using Caitlin’s services again.

Caitlin has walked & looked my family dog on quite a few occasions. She is very dedicated when looking after our dog, giving the best care that she can give. We receive pictures & updates from their time together which always brings comfort as it can be a worrying thing leaving your pet. Caitlin is caring, friendly & very devoted towards whichever pet she is looking after! We trust her without a doubt to look after our dog & we never have any concerns or worries! I would recommend Caitlin to anyone looking for a pet sitter/walker

Caitlin has been an absolute blessing for my furry friend! She is not only a responsible and reliable dog walker, but she genuinely cares for the well-being and happiness of every pet she takes care of. Her love for animals shines through in the way she interacts with them, providing them with the attention, exercise, and affection they need. Caitlin goes above and beyond to ensure the safety and comfort of the dogs in her care, making sure they have a great time during their walks. I trust her completely and feel at ease knowing that my pet is in her capable hands. If you're looking for a responsible and loving caregiver for your furry family member, Caitlin is the perfect choice!" 🐾❤️
