“Matilde has been absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Zelda. She’s been so caring, attentive, and thoughtful, and it’s clear from the way she’s looking after her that she genuinely loves dogs. She’s kept us updated and reassured, which has made being away so much easier. We feel completely at ease knowing Zelda is in such safe and loving hands, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Matilde to anyone looking for a trustworthy and truly caring dog sitter.”

“Pablo was great with Pepper. He sent regular updates and photos. Pepper is a very nervous and shy cat but she warmed up really quickly to Pablo and was clearly comfortable in his care. I highly recommend Pablo to other cat parents.”

“Vitoria was great. Minnie can be quite shy with people she doesn’t know but she took a very quick liking to Vitoria, immediately demanding cuddles! Vitoria was very punctual every day, provided us with timely updates, pictures and videos, and was very kind throughout the process. We will definitely book her again.”

About: My passion - and respect - for pets, especially dogs and cats, started very early...actually since i was born i have shared my life with these amazing creatures. This has allowed me to learn more about our friends. I've always considered them as relevant part of my existence and have always been rewarded with the same love. Looking after a pet, going together for long walks, playing games in open doors is one of the most satisfying things in life. Vegetarian, animals lover. I’m currently not working and have plenty of time I can spend looking after pets. So I’m available to cover different owners needs and hours I work at building trust first. When the pet is comfortable with my company, food and walks become easier because of comfort and attention to detail.

“Gennaro fed my cat while I was away for three weeks. He did a fantastic job and communication was excellent. He was very proactive and even changed the batteries on my cat door when lights started flashing. Would highly recommend and will definitely use him again.”

“Enrica was amazing! Our dog can be shy, but he got along with Enrica right away! She definitely has a way with dogs : ). We look forward to booking with her again soon!”

About: I have looked after small/mid sized dogs for years in my flat in Covent Garden. I work from home a lot as I'm self employed so can provide constant care, and am available on weekends. I am also very responsive on my phone and love to check in, so feel free to message me anytime! I'll probably be sending you cute pictures anyway! I am a working voice over artist (who largely works from home or in studios within a mile radius) so I'm very available during the week/weekends/bank holidays. I also work part time at a dog friendly gym near my flat. I have a lot of free time throughout the week and am a fan of fitness so if your dog needs a lot of walks, I'm happy to accommodate! I am happy to take the parents' lead on this, if you'd prefer your dog sleeps in a certain set up I am 100% happy to accommodate, I'm also very happy to have dogs sleep in my bed! My flat is on the second floor of our building (but am happy to carry dogs who are unable to climb, which has happened!) and I have two bedrooms and an atrium where the dogs can rest without access to the bathroom/kitchen areas. I also live near several parks/green spaces.
About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and I used to live in Spain before coming here. Here in London I have taken care of two of my friends' cats and the dog of a third friend when they have gone on holidays. I have stayed at their houses as is easier for the pet to feel safe and at ease, I have made sure that they are feed, change the cats sand and taken the dog on walks and to the park to play. I am currently working 2–3 days a week in the mornings, up to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 2:30 PM per day in retail, and three evenings a week as a childminder from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM (sometimes 5:30 PM). I am always free one whole day per week (mostly Tuesdays), most evenings, and Saturday afternoon. First of all, I make sure to follow all the instructions that the owner gives me. I keep an eye on anything they can eat and I play with them.
About: Hi! I’m a soon to be graduate from vet school and in the meantime am looking to help my community before I start working! I helped raise my family dog from the age of 8 and as I have grown older have helped care for dogs and cats of all ages! Since I have experience working in a veterinary hospital setting I am capable of handling and caring for kittens, puppies, senior pets and any age in between. I also have 10 years experience volunteering at animal shelters and fostering. No dog or cat is too big or too small for my heart ! Please note the summer can be quite hectic for me at the moment so I do my best to update my availability calendar ! I have recently finished my degree as a vet student and am waiting to graduate. I am currently available to help outside of weekends mainly before I start working as a vet. I try to update my calendar availability as soon as I can. I apologize if you reach out and I can’t be of assistance in advance ! The only service I do not offer is bringing the pet to my home. All other ROVER services are on the table and I try to care for your pet just as you would! I have no problem with walks, potty breaks, feeding schedules, or any other needs your pet may have. Let me make you feel comfortable with leaving your furry family member with me for a while! I also am okay with meet and greets beforehand if necessary.
“Belle had the bestest time with Camila! Thank you so much for being available with short notice and for taking care of Belle! Camila was nothing other than professional and friendly! Would absolutely recommend”
“Annie provided a drop in visit for our dog during the hot weather and was great! Our boy took to her immediately and she provided us with updates and photos to keep our minds at ease. Thank you, Annie!”

“Douglas knows cats! He is extremely comfortable and our Hemingway (normally a bit shy) was playing with him within minutes and you could see an immediate trust. Douglas kept us informed about his daily visits and sent us photos of a happy cat. I would not doubt asking him again for our next holiday 😻”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life, with my family growing up with dogs of various breeds and taking care of neighbours and friends pets as well. Have experience training puppies and in senior animal care, and would be excited to meet your furry friend and provide them with the care they need whilst you are away. Although working full-time, I am able to work from home most Fridays and would be able to take your dog to a local park to relieve themselves and get rid of some energy, before a longer walk (suited to your pets needs) during lunch time. The rest of the day would consist of relaxing, playing and puzzle games for your pet, before another evening walk to make sure they are tired out by the end of the day. Naturally since not all pets are able/want to go outside, this will depend on your dogs needs and wishes, with a relaxing and quite environment suitable for every pet, and loads of activities for those who want it. I have lots of experience with pets of all ages, and am happy to adjust to your training methods and your pets needs. I have personally crate trained puppies until they are old enough to not cause mischief but am happy to continue with this method, or not, depending on your preference. Pets would be allowed in every room of the house, with windows and doors being secured well during their stay. I would not have any guests over during your pets stay, unless advised that they would not mind this, as your pets comfort is of top priority. For house visits, I would make sure your pet is well fed and watered, has been eating and has not made a mess anywhere, as well as check up on their condition visually and physically as much as is possible. I will also send up frequent and detailed updates on what your pet has gotten up to, with loads of cute pictures!
“I’m so incredibly grateful to Matthew for helping with my puppy at the very last minute. He was very kind and understanding ,and even stayed twice as long as I had booked and paid for. He took such thoughtful care of him, helped him eat, use his toilet spot properly , and kept him calm and comfortable. You can really tell how much he knows about how to look after puppies . Mishkin clearly adored him and felt safe with him right from the start. It couldn’t have gone better. I’d recommend to anyone looking for someone caring, reliable and wonderful with puppies”

About: Hi there! A little bit about myself – my name is Kamil, and I grew up with a dog in my family. I miss that special bond every day, and being around dogs has always brought me so much joy. I’m really missing it here in London. I work from home three days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog, giving them the attention and care they deserve. I live near Haggerston Park and absolutely love taking dogs there for walks. If there’s more time, I’m happy to head over to Victoria Park for a longer stroll. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or more relaxed, I tailor each walk to fit their needs and ensure they have a great time. I treat every dog like family, and I’m committed to making sure your dog has the best experience while you’re away! I work from home three days a week, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your dog. On those days, I can offer flexible pet care, whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply hanging out with your dog to keep them company. On the other days, I’m happy to arrange dog walks or visits to suit your needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take only one dog at a time, ensuring they get my full attention and care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.
“Sevinj was an absolute star with our sweet Poppy! She took really good care of her while we were away. We contacted her with very short notice, she was super flexible and helpfu. She sent us lots of videos and photos and she’s was super sweet. We definitely recommend her and we will be booking her again in future for sure! Thank you Sevinj, absolute star 💖”

About: I come from a big dog loving family and have had dogs since I was a kid. We currently have two very sweet german shepards named Kai and Mak! I pet sit frequently when I am back home in San Diego, CA, and I love animals of all kinds! When I was getting my bachelor's degree, I fostered some very sweet cats and we were able to find both of them their forever homes! I am currently getting my masters degree in London, but I am only working on a paper until September so I have a lot of free time this summer to pet sit or do some dog walking! Currently, I am just working on a dissertation, and since I can work on it from anywhere, I have plenty of time for dog walks or just spending time with them! I enjoy going on walks daily so it is easy for me to get good walks in for the dogs! I don't have another job right now, and I enjoy going to the gym for about an hour a day, and might spend some time with friends, but my schedule is very open and I understand the importance of being with pets often while pet sitting! While pet sitting at the owner's home, I typically just spend a lot of time with the pet, whether it is playing with them or just hanging out by them. If the pet is slightly hesitant on my presence due to shyness, I would have no problem with giving them their space until they are feeling more comfortable. I would follow the owner's instructions, for example, stick to their feeding and walking schedules, and if there are any special circumstances like necessary medications, I would work with that. My goal is to make sure the pet feels safe, happy, and well looked after while the owner is away, with lots of attention and affection throughout my visit.

About: , I’m Milena and I just moved to London! I’m an enthusiastic, curious and outgoing person who loves dogs :). I’ve grown up with dogs since my mom’s in the industry, she takes cares of anything from training (basic education, rescue, guarding…), day care, pet sitting, dog shows, and even has her own litters up to twice a year. I currently own a Doberman, Weimaraners and a Jack Russel (+ a cat) at my parents’ home! I’ve always been surrounded by dogs (small and big) and have tagged along to learn the basics of dog training for both puppies and adult dogs. Since moving out for uni, I have been focusing on dog sitting and walking since I can’t see myself spending a week without at least one furry friend! I enjoy taking them on walks (that I call “little adventures”), playing with them, cuddling, you name it. I will be starting a full time internship in Knightsbridge on July 1st. But my early mornings and evenings are free during the week, and I have my weekends free! I am very a adaptable person, so I know I can manage balancing out social life, sports (I do athletics) and taking care of your best friend :) I am renting out a room for my time in London, and would thus prefer if I could take care of your pet at your home. I can easily move and come around if needed, whether it is pet sitting or taking them outside :)
“Alba was a superstar bunny sitter! ⭐️🐰 She was wonderful with our bunnies — very caring, attentive, and clearly invested in their wellbeing. She even went out of her way to help us with an extra visit on short notice, which we really appreciated. 🙏🏻 She followed instructions carefully, gave clear updates and photos, and didn’t miss a single detail in her daily notes, which is rare to find in a Rover sitter. 📸👍🏻There was one small miscommunication, but she handled it with immediate accountability and genuine care, which meant the world to us. Overall, we felt they were in kind, capable hands and would happily have her care for them again! ✨☺️”

London pet owners share their Rover experiences
Douglas took wonderful care of our two maine coons, Basile and Cannelle, while we were away. Communication was excellent throughout, with quick responses and regular updates that gave us real peace of mind. He was reliable, respected the agreed visit times, and even brought toys to drop ins to keep the cats hunting :) . It was clear that he genuinely cared about their wellbeing. We came home to two happy, relaxed cats and would not hesitate to book with Douglas again. Highly recommended!

If you’re looking for someone who will care for your pets as if they were her own, look no further. We will book with her again in a heartbeat and feel incredibly lucky to have found her. We absolutely adore Alba and cannot recommend her highly enough! 🐰✨ Leaving your pets behind while travelling is never easy, especially when you’re on the other side of the world but she gave us something every pet owner hopes for… complete peace of mind! 🙌🏻🤍 Every single visit came with thoughtful updates, lots of photos and videos and detailed notes about how the bunnies were doing. Not only did she show us our sweet little fluffballs 🐇🐇 but she also showed their food, water, hay, enclosure, and even that everything was safely secured and locked before she left which gave us such peace of mind.🔒✨ What we loved most of all was how much attention she paid to their personalities. 🥹💕 She would tell us about their funny little habits, what they were up to that day, who was being mischievous, who was being cuddly, and all the adorable details that made us feel connected to them even from thousands of miles away. Most importantly, we trusted her completely. ❤️ Even while travelling through India where communication wasn’t easy, we never once found ourselves worrying whether the bunnies had been cared for. We simply knew they were safe, loved, and receiving excellent care. That level of trust is priceless. ✨ She is kind, thorough, reliable, attentive, and clearly has a genuine love for animals! 🐾🖤

Every step of booking Erin to look after my cat was so easy. She was very attentive and offered a free meet and greet beforehand. She sent regular updates and sent me some lovely pictures. I would 100% recommend her and will be asking her to look after my cat again. Thank you
I was very apprehensive about leaving my 17 year old cat whilst I went away, but after meeting Rachel my worries were alleviated. She is super friendly and Kitty warmed to her quickly. Rachel sent updates and photos every visit so I could see how she was, and I returned to one happy puss. I will not hesitate to book her again in the future. Thanks Rachel, you're a star 🌟
Lucrezia was amazing! She was very punctual, communicative and sent me lots of photos and updates while I was away. She took such great care of Neto and I could not have been happier with my choice of cat sitter. Knowing he was in such good hands helped me feel much more relaxed while I was away. I would definitely recommend Lucrezia to anyone looking for someone caring and reliable to look after their pet!💯

Blaise was very flexible and able to stay over at mine very last minute to care for my dog and two cats. As usual she was absolutely amazing. Blaise is kind and genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure your pets are feeling loved and cared for in your absence! I received lots of photos and videos of playtimes and cuddles in bed. My shy cat who is scared of his own shadow even warmed to her and slept in next to her which just made me feel so happy. It’s such a reassurance that she’s a vet nurse and is there if anything were to happen. I came home to a clean house, clean litter trays and 3 very happy pets. Couldn’t have asked for more! Exceptional service and highly recommend!

I have two cats who had absolutely amazing times being looked after by Jess on her drop-in appointments. To be honest, I have never seen my cats reacting in a way they reacted at Jess - they fell in love with her and trusted her completely immediately on her first visit. She cared after them amazingly, played a lot, petted them and gave lots of love and attention - and I am even a little jealous of how much they have fallen in love with her! I will definitely be reaching out to Jess as the first go to person for all my catseating needs!
