About: As a master's student at UCL, I recently relocated to London and had to leave my absolute best friend behind in Delhi - my 4-year-old English Cocker Spaniel, Scotch. Dogs truly are a human's best friend, and I miss our daily walks and playtime immensely. Since I can't be with my own pup right now, I want to channel all that love and energy into caring for yours! I understand the immense trust it takes to let someone look after your pet. I am highly reliable, attentive to detail, and will treat your dogs with the exact same love, patience, and enthusiasm I give to Scotch. Whether it's an energetic walk around the Bloomsbury area between my classes or a comforting drop-in visit to break up their day, I'm here to make sure your furry family members are happy, safe, and well-exercised while you are busy Since I am entirely focused on my final master's thesis right now, my schedule is incredibly flexible. I have no fixed lectures to attend, which means I spend most of my days doing desk research. Stepping out to walk your dog or dropping in for a playtime session is actually the perfect study break for me! Because I manage my own hours, I can easily adapt to your preferred schedule, whether you need an early morning stroll, a reliable midday check-in, or an evening walk. Because I am exclusively offering walks and drop-in visits, respecting your home and keeping your pet safe in their own environment is my top priority. On walks, I am highly vigilant of traffic, other animals, and street hazards, ensuring your dog stays securely leashed and comfortable at all times. For drop-ins, I will strictly follow your house rules regarding feeding, restricted areas, and locking up securely before I leave. Having raised my own dog from a puppy, I am very attuned to canine body language and can easily spot if a dog is feeling anxious, tired, or unwell.
About: I grew up with rescue cats, and in the past, I've kept my own guinea piggies and leopard geckos. I have used various other platforms over the years for petsitting, to take dogs for walks and into work on a regular basis, as well as popping in to feed cats. I genuinely care for animals and I always strive to do my best by them with the utmost affection. I have a flexible schedule and I regularly care for pets in owners' homes across the UK, so I'm experienced at quickly building trust with animals and maintaining their usual routines. I have been petsitting for many years now and I am quite comfortable providing the exact care as described by the homeowners. I have proven myself to be trustworthy and reliable. I am happy when the animals in my care are happy!

About: I’ve grown up around dogs my whole life, so caring for dogs has always been a natural part of my life. I regularly pet sit for family dogs and have experience looking after their different personalities, routines and individual needs. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I’m patient, caring and responsible, and I understand how important it is to treat every dog as an individual. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and would love to provide your pup with plenty of attention, exercise and companionship while you’re away or busy. At the moment my schedule changes from week to week so I will update this when needed. But I will be available full days at least 2 days a week. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and regularly pet sit for family dogs, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities and routines. Dog walking is my preferred service, and I’ll make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, attention and care while keeping them safe at all times. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and any specific instructions you provide, including feeding, treats, playtime and medication where appropriate. I can also provide pet sitting in your own home if needed, helping your dog feel comfortable in their familiar environment while you’re away. I want every owner to feel confident that their dog is in safe, caring and responsible hands.

About: I’m Milena and I just moved to London! I’m an enthusiastic, curious and outgoing person who loves cats and dogs :). I’ve grown up with dogs since my mom’s in the industry, she takes cares of anything from training (basic education, rescue, guarding…), day care, pet sitting, dog shows, and even has her own litters up to twice a year. I currently own a Doberman, Weimaraners and a Jack Russel (+ a cat) at my parents’ home! I’ve always been surrounded by dogs (small and big) and have tagged along to learn the basics of dog training for both puppies and adult dogs. Since moving out for uni, I have been focusing on dog and cat sitting as well as walking since I can’t see myself spending a week without at least one furry friend! I enjoy taking them on walks, playing with them, cuddling, you name it. I will be starting a full time internship in Knightsbridge on July 1st. But my early mornings and evenings are free during the week, and I have my weekends free! I am very a adaptable person, so I know I can manage balancing out social life, sports (I do athletics) and taking care of your best friend :) I am renting out a room for my time in London, and would thus prefer if I could take care of your pet at your home. I can easily move and come around if needed, whether it is pet sitting or taking them outside :)

About: Hi there! A little bit about myself – my name is Kamil, and I grew up with a dog in my family. I miss that special bond every day, and being around dogs has always brought me so much joy. I’m really missing it here in London. I work from home three days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog, giving them the attention and care they deserve. I live near Haggerston Park and absolutely love taking dogs there for walks. If there’s more time, I’m happy to head over to Victoria Park for a longer stroll. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or more relaxed, I tailor each walk to fit their needs and ensure they have a great time. I treat every dog like family, and I’m committed to making sure your dog has the best experience while you’re away! I work from home three days a week, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to your dog. On those days, I can offer flexible pet care, whether it’s long walks, playtime, or simply hanging out with your dog to keep them company. On the other days, I’m happy to arrange dog walks or visits to suit your needs. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take only one dog at a time, ensuring they get my full attention and care. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away.
“Helped me out of a really tough situation- Yan is really friendly and was up for collecting my keys from hospital, going to my home and feeding my cat, and then dropping the keys back off to me in hospital. I had no idea how I was going to get my cat fed and Yan came through! Would def recommend”

“Matilde did a fantastic job with Zelda during her hour drop-in. She was punctual, reliable, and clearly very confident with dogs. Zelda was relaxed and content in her care, which was lovely to see. She followed all instructions carefully and kept us updated, which gave us real peace of mind while we were out. We’d happily recommend Matilde and would absolutely book her again.”

“It was the first time my dog stayed alone for a few days. Annie made regular updates of everything going on in the visits with a lot of details, including the perceived mood of my dog. She managed to make him feel comfortable with her and spend extra time with him to keep him company beyond the walks.”

“Pablo was so sweet with our bunnies and made us feel secure while we were on vacation, always letting us know he arrived and communicated every step of the way! We are so grateful! ☺️🙏🏻”

We are thrilled to now bring our passion and experience to the Rover community! What sets us apart is our extensive, hands-on experience with a wide variety of pets and needs. We don’t just watch over pets; we treat them like family. Our background includes: Puppy Care: We know the patience, energy, and consistency required to look after high-energy young pups and maintain their routines. Since we travel and work as a team, your pet will get double the love, attention, and supervision. We are organized, extremely clean, and committed to giving you peace of mind with regular updates and photos! As full-time house and pet sitters, looking after animals is not just a side job, it is our primary focus and daily lifestyle. Because we travel and work remotely as a team, our schedule is incredibly flexible. Your pets will rarely be left alone, as at least one of us is almost always at home to keep them company, stick to their exact feeding schedules, and give them the attention they deserve. Our daily routine completely adapts to your pet's needs: from morning walks and playful afternoons to administering medications on a strict timeline or simply sharing quiet cuddles on the sofa. Your pet’s comfort and routine dictate our day. We care for pets exclusively in the owner's home, ensuring they stay in their safest, most comfortable, and familiar environment. We treat every home we step into with the utmost respect, cleanliness, and responsibility. Safety and Trust are our top priorities: Home Security: We strictly follow all security guidelines, ensuring doors and gates are locked, alarms are set, and keys are safely managed. On walks, dogs are always kept securely on their leashes unless specified otherwise by you in safe, designated areas. Medical Peace of Mind: We are highly responsible with medication schedules and always have the details of your preferred local vet on hand in case of any emergency. “Enrica was amazing! Our dog can be shy, but he got along with Enrica right away! She definitely has a way with dogs : ). We look forward to booking with her again soon!”

About: Hi, I’m Luis Andre. I’ve loved dogs for my whole life, and I’d be delighted to give your pup a warm, gentle and loving experience. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs and seniors. My first dog was Roly, a playful Beagle who was with me from the age of six. When he grew older, I dedicated myself to giving him the happiest and most comfortable final years possible. Later on, I helped care for Viena, a Golden Retriever from my partner, both as a puppy and again when she was four to five years old, for almost two years in total. What you can expect from me: ✔️ Individual attention so your dog always feels seen and cared for ✔️ Frequent updates with texts, photos and videos ✔️ Safe walks and fun playtime (if you and your pup are comfortable with it) ✔️ A calm, loving and reliable environment I bring the same care, patience and affection I gave to Roly and Viena to every dog I look after. Feel free to message me anytime. I’ll be happy to answer your questions and get to know your dog. 🐾 I am currently pursuing a full-time master’s at UCL. Although my studies are full-time, my schedule is quite flexible. I usually attend university from Monday to Thursday every two weeks, and when I’m not on campus, I spend my time at home reading and studying. Next year, my schedule will be even more flexible as I focus on my research, allowing me to be at home most of the time and dedicate plenty of attention to caring for your dogs. I currently live in a flat with three rooms, one of which is furnished, providing a safe and comfortable environment for pets. That said, I prefer caring for dogs in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. I make sure to follow each owner’s instructions carefully, maintain a clean and safe space, and give pets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities.

“Vitoria was great. Minnie can be quite shy with people she doesn’t know but she took a very quick liking to Vitoria, immediately demanding cuddles! Vitoria was very punctual every day, provided us with timely updates, pictures and videos, and was very kind throughout the process. We will definitely book her again.”

“We’ve moved to Kent from London recently and we have been looking to find someone new to look after our 2 whippets whenever we have to leave for a few hours. Antoinette was great and kept us up to date with how it all went! The dogs seem to love her which is a must of us ☺️”

About: I had a dog when I was a teenager and I used to live in Spain before coming here. Here in London I have taken care of two of my friends' cats and the dog of a third friend when they have gone on holidays. I have stayed at their houses as is easier for the pet to feel safe and at ease, I have made sure that they are feed, change the cats sand and taken the dog on walks and to the park to play. I am currently working 2–3 days a week in the mornings, up to 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, or 2:30 PM per day in retail, and three evenings a week as a childminder from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM (sometimes 5:30 PM). I am always free one whole day per week (mostly Tuesdays), most evenings, and Saturday afternoon. First of all, I make sure to follow all the instructions that the owner gives me. I keep an eye on anything they can eat and I play with them.

About: I’ve been regularly caring for an elderly dog since 2015, and have been caring on a monthly basis for multiple other pups and cats, I’ve always cared deeply for animals and have owned multiple cats and family dogs in my time. Please note - I live my partner, also an experienced sitter, if you aren’t happy with him also accompanying me to house visits. Please let me know, and it is not a problem 😄 I am free every weekend, and also work from home 3 times a week, I would mainly be able to take your pups or cats for full weekends. I live in a two story home with a completely fenced back garden, there is plenty of room to run and play, as well as plenty of space in side to relax cuddle and play games.

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - London
Valery was simply great. We have a diabetic cat and she looked after him, including injecting him twice a day. He immediately warmed to her and she sent us lots of photos and videos. We had some last minute travel delays and Valery was very flexible in being able to help us out and we are very grateful for that. We will definitely be using Valery again.

Lauren was fantastic! From the first introduction to my little kitty Vera I could tell Lauren was a great fit. Vera warmed up to her right away and then kept me up to date on all activities with great daily photos. I highly recommend Lauren and will be using her again in the future

This was my second time booking Tracy and one again blown away by how caring, thoughtful and accommodating she was! I can’t recommend her enough and I know my cat Ollie absolutely loves her visits! Tracy will always be my first call when looking for a sitter - thank you again!

Kat was absolutely amazing with Figgy - she went above and beyond to look after him and Figgy clearly loved Kat’s company. We received so many lovely update photos and videos and Kat kept us in the loop on everything. When we discovered that we had messed up the automatic feeder Kat even made herself available to pop in in the morning (when we hadn’t scheduled a visit) to make sure Figgy got his breakfast. Cannot recommended highly enough and we will definitely be asking Kat to look after Figgy again!

Jessica is great! She is very straight forward in her communication. The first time we meet she asked all the questions about the cats to understand their routine and needs. She kept me updated and sent pictures while visiting. When i got home from holiday cats where call and well taken care of. Definitely recommend her.

Kirsty, a kind, professional cat feeder, who owns and loves her own cat. At short notice she cared for my Maine coon when I had a very difficult health emergency. I couldn’t meet Kirsty, but she took that in her stride, accommodating my needs and cared for my sensitive Hopi so well, that upon returning home from hospital, Hopi was very relaxed and happy, especially as she’d never been left as long before, as were were three. I also then got to meet and appreciate Kirsty, who clearly enjoys the responsibility of caring for our beloved pets. Highly recommended!! I will definitely use Kirsty again! 😻

We’re so happy that Ruo Xuan was the one looking after our cat Frodo for the whole week. She visited him twice a day, and our little boy was well fed, looked after, entertained, and given plenty of attention, care and affection. After every visit, Ruo Xuan sent us photos and videos with updates on how Frodo was doing, so we always felt reassured that he was happy and everything was okay. Ruo Xuan is such a lovely person and very easy to communicate with. We’re incredibly grateful for the wonderful care she gave our little Frodo. Thank you so much! ❤️

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
