Amanda can care for
Availability
I can’t have animals in my current flat so I will come to your house to look after your pet, either as a holiday stay or during work hours for walks or home working. I can also take dogs to work with me (if they like being office dogs!)

In my time I’ve cared for dogs with different quirks, and am happy to follow owner instructions to ensure I continue any training or routines. My number one priority is to make sure your dog is content and feels cared for, and will adapt what I do to meet their needs, whether that’s extra playtime, long walks or training.
Information Amanda J. would like to know about your pet
It’s good to know their quirks, and what might make them anxious, for example certain types of people, other animals or times of day. It’s also great to know your usual commands so I can use the same words.
A typical day
I’m happy to shape my day based on the dog’s needs. Typically this means one long walk (1hr+) and one short walk (30mins) each day in a nearby park, strolling at sniff pace or faster paced playing, whatever they fancy. At the weekends I like to get out of the city to the countryside, if they are good on trains. If a dog likes playing indoors or doing training I’ll weave that into the day. And if they like sofa time, I love nothing more than snuggling on the sofa.

Pet care experience
For my whole life I’ve been asked to pet-sit. From the biggest of dogs to the teeniest of hamsters. I love being around animals and am fascinated with the relationship between humans and pets. In my time I’ve cared for dogs with different quirks, and, depending on your dog's preferences, am happy to amble round the park at sniff pace or race around playing. My number one priority is to make sure your dog is content and feels cared for, so I will adapt what I do to meet their needs and am happy to follow owner commands or training. I always send regular photos and updates about how your dog is doing.

Reviews

Amanda was totally brilliant, as I had a complicated set up needing someone while I was at a party in South London. She is really easy to deal with and we worked well getting the drop off and pick up organised. Charles got a bit stressed beforehand, so she was amazing at calming him and giving such a nice time on a walk. Got some lovely photos I will keep. Thank you, Amanda
Amanda was awesome as a catsitter for my girls! Very proactive in her communication, diligent with questions and updates, and my cats were happy when they met her and also when I got back. Amanda made sure she followed up with returning the keys and that I made it back safely! I will 100% contact Amanda again in the future :)

Amanda is a true animal lover - when Amanda came over to meet our cats and get the keys, it was so evident we had made the right choice! Amanda went above and beyond to make sure our two cats were well looked after and feeling comfortable during a heatwave. Amanda sent us regular updates and pictures and made such an effort to make sure our cats were loved in our absence. We never had to wonder or worry how the cats were doing. I highly recommend booking Amanda, very responsive, friendly and professional. We will definitely be booking with Amanda when we’re away in the future. Thanks so much for all you did to take after our two crazy fluffs, Amanda!

Always great with Ruby and so kind too!
