About: I've had pets all my life, from dogs, cats, to even a turtle at one point. I know how important your furred friends are, and I know you're looking for someone well versed to take care of them. ✏️ Experience - I have 1.5 years of veterinary nurse education -I have owned pets my whole life, and know how to properly handle them 🐾 What pets I take care of - Dogs - Cats - Ages 1 and up I hope to get to meet you and your furry pals some time! I have plenty of time to take care of whatever needs your pets may have throughout the day, from feeding to playing with toys with them! I have two cats at home and have lived with dogs most of my life, so I am well versed in being able to take care of them. I will be able to give them food, water and some play time!
“Great service and communication from Filip! He provided updates and photos and was even able to get my cat to play while visiting her. Highly recommend him to others who need a safe pair of hands to watch their pets.”

About: I come from a big dog loving family and have had dogs since I was a kid. We currently have two very sweet german shepards named Kai and Mak! I pet sit frequently when I am back home in San Diego, CA, and I love animals of all kinds! When I was getting my bachelor's degree, I fostered some very sweet cats and we were able to find both of them their forever homes! I am currently getting my masters degree in London, but I am only working on a paper until September so I have a lot of free time this summer to pet sit or do some dog walking! Currently, I am just working on a dissertation, and since I can work on it from anywhere, I have plenty of time for dog walks or just spending time with them! I enjoy going on walks daily so it is easy for me to get good walks in for the dogs! I don't have another job right now, and I enjoy going to the gym for about an hour a day, and might spend some time with friends, but my schedule is very open and I understand the importance of being with pets often while pet sitting! While pet sitting at the owner's home, I typically just spend a lot of time with the pet, whether it is playing with them or just hanging out by them. If the pet is slightly hesitant on my presence due to shyness, I would have no problem with giving them their space until they are feeling more comfortable. I would follow the owner's instructions, for example, stick to their feeding and walking schedules, and if there are any special circumstances like necessary medications, I would work with that. My goal is to make sure the pet feels safe, happy, and well looked after while the owner is away, with lots of attention and affection throughout my visit.
“Valery was fantastic looking after my cat Gus. She got along amazingly with him and I received daily updates on how he was doing. Great communication and kept him fed and happy throughout, will definitely ask her to look after him the next time I'm away. Thanks Valery! ”

“Enrica was amazing! Our dog can be shy, but he got along with Enrica right away! She definitely has a way with dogs : ). We look forward to booking with her again soon!”

“Matthew was amazing! Came around before to meet Oscar and learn about his needs and was very communicative and helpful throughout. Even offered to water our flowers. We couldn't be happier and would love to have him look after Oscar in the future!”

“Marscia was great! Got pictures and videos every day. She was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Was able to really enjoy my holiday knowing my baby was so well taken care of. ”

“Max is a dog whisperer. Our dog is standoffish with strangers & can take a few days to give trust but Max clearly knew how to manage that so the dog was relaxed & friendly with him from the off. Making arrangements with Max was easy; he replies promptly & gives informative answers to questions. He was punctual, provided good updates & he even re-confirmed in the morning of the booking. We won’t hesitate to ask Max to sit our dog again.”

About: I have looked after small/mid sized dogs for years in my flat in Covent Garden. I work from home a lot as I'm self employed so can provide constant care, and am available on weekends. I am also very responsive on my phone and love to check in, so feel free to message me anytime! I'll probably be sending you cute pictures anyway! I am a working voice over artist (who largely works from home or in studios within a mile radius) so I'm very available during the week/weekends/bank holidays. I also work part time at a dog friendly gym near my flat. I have a lot of free time throughout the week and am a fan of fitness so if your dog needs a lot of walks, I'm happy to accommodate! I am happy to take the parents' lead on this, if you'd prefer your dog sleeps in a certain set up I am 100% happy to accommodate, I'm also very happy to have dogs sleep in my bed! My flat is on the second floor of our building (but am happy to carry dogs who are unable to climb, which has happened!) and I have two bedrooms and an atrium where the dogs can rest without access to the bathroom/kitchen areas. I also live near several parks/green spaces.
“Khadija has been amazing. She's looked after our cat as though he was her own. She kept us posted at all times with arrival times at our place and with lovely pictures! So so nice and caring. Thank you! We will definitely be in touch again should we need someone to look after our fur baby.”

About: Hey! My name is Claudia, I am a 23 year old young professional in London, originally from Barcelona, Spain. I've been passionate about animals my entire life. Growing up, I had dogs and cats as part of our household, which taught me the importance of patience, care, and understanding when looking after them. I also have experience dog sitting in London, where I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Whether it’s an energetic pup that loves long walks or a senior dog that needs gentle care, I always tailor my approach to suit their unique needs. As a remote worker, I’m flexible and can provide plenty of attention and care throughout the day. I pride myself on being very communicative with owners, sending regular updates and pictures so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are my top priorities, and I’d love the chance to make them feel safe, loved, and truly cared for! I work from home every day, so I can easily accommodate my schedule to any dog's needs! I have an hour long lunch break for longer walks, and no problem with taking shorter breaks during the day! I love to go out for walks. My home is walking distance from both Hyde Park and Regent's Park, where I love to spend time in. If we're staying indoors, I love to play any ball games or spend some time with their favourite entertainment form. And my favourite time, some cuddles!
About: I’ve been surrounded by pets since I was 9 years old (dogs, birds, turtles) and I absolutely adore them. I am extremely patient, caring and loving, and am naturally great with animals. I work from home generally except a few days I need to go into the office, but I have the flexibility for walks and play time! I don’t have a garden but I do have a park right next to my flat where I could take your dog for walks! :)
About: Why have one sitter when you can have two!? We're a reliable, fun and outdoorsy couple who work from home 5 days a week, so your pet will always have company, care, and be entertained to their heart's content! We live with Xanthe’s mum in a bright, spacious home with an enclosed garden, close to four parks including Ally Pally 🦮 We've both grown up with animals but now, living in London and about to turn 30, Rover lets us spend time with animals while we’re not quite ready for our own <3 Doing Rover as a duo means double the time with added reassurance. As well as twice daily walks, we can bring your pet for shop runs and, if they like to hit up sunny parks and cafes at the weekend that can be arranged 😉 Each pet we’ve cared for has had their own personality and needs whether it’s extra walks, grooming, or calming nervous pups, we’ll make them our top priority during their stay and are great at understanding animals needs ❤️
About: Hi! My name is Bridget, and I’m a kind, caring, and responsible animal lover offering dog walking and pet sitting services. I’m very flexible with my schedule and happy to stay in your home to ensure your pets are safe, happy, and comfortable while you're away. I’ve grown up in central London so I know all the best parks for engaging and enriching walks. I also have a car and am more than happy to take your dog out of the city for a big countryside walk and a proper adventure. Sadly I can't have a dog where I live, but I’ve had my own cat for over 10 years and have regularly looked after friends' and family’s dogs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. If you’re looking for someone reliable, warm-hearted, and experienced, I’d love to meet you and your pets! I work from home on my own schedule. I occasionally work in a shop where I would be able to bring a dog in and look after throughout the day. I am available every evening and almost every week day in the day time. I have a relaxed cat who keeps to himself and am walking distance from many central london parks. I provide lots of attention and cuddles but allow pets to come to me in their own time.

About: Hi there! A little bit about myself – my name is Kamil, and I grew up with a dog in my family. I miss that special bond every day, and being around dogs has always brought me so much joy. I’m really missing it here in London. I work from home three days a week, so I have plenty of time to spend with your dog, giving them the attention and care they deserve. I live near Haggerston Park and absolutely love taking dogs there for walks. If there’s more time, I’m happy to head over to Victoria Park for a longer stroll. Whether your dog is playful and energetic or more relaxed, I tailor each walk to fit their needs and ensure they have a great time. I treat every dog like family, and I’m committed to making sure your dog has the best experience while you’re away! Dog owners share their Rover experiences - London
Irene has been a trusted walker and sitter for Neo for a while and she looked after him recently, whilst we went on holiday to Egypt! She sent regular updates, took care of him during the heatwave and he looked like he was right at home with her, as always! We're very lucky to have Irene as an option for Neo!

Blaise was very flexible and able to stay over at mine very last minute to care for my dog and two cats. As usual she was absolutely amazing. Blaise is kind and genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure your pets are feeling loved and cared for in your absence! I received lots of photos and videos of playtimes and cuddles in bed. My shy cat who is scared of his own shadow even warmed to her and slept in next to her which just made me feel so happy. It’s such a reassurance that she’s a vet nurse and is there if anything were to happen. I came home to a clean house, clean litter trays and 3 very happy pets. Couldn’t have asked for more! Exceptional service and highly recommend!

Amazing again thanks Ella! We booked Ella at short notice after some plans changed, and she had to let herself in to our house to feed Sparrow and take her for a walk, and then lock up again behind her. All went smoothly and she kept us informed along the way, which put my mind at rest. Highly recommended

John has been absolutely wonderful with Cookie. He is reliable, caring, and always kept me updated, which really gave me peace of mind while I was away. Cookie recently had surgery, so I was quite anxious about leaving him with someone else, but John was very patient and attentive with all of his needs. I genuinely felt very reassured knowing Cookie was in such good hands. I would happily recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and thoughtful dog sitter 😊

I couldn’t be happier with the care Tess receives! She is treated with so much love, attention and patience, and it truly shows. I always feel completely at ease knowing she is in such good hands. It’s not just about looking after her, it’s the genuine care and affection that makes all the difference. Tess absolutely loves her time there, and that says everything. Highly recommend!

Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
