Lifelong Dog Lover Offering Calm, Loving Care

I’ve had dogs in my life since I was born, and caring for them has always been second nature to me. I grew up with a Labrador called Bess, then a Labradoodle named Dexter, and now own a beautiful 2-yr old Sheepadoodle, Huxley. I lived with all three during their lives, and most notably, played a key role in training and looking after Huxley as a puppy alongside my mum and sister. I’ve now moved out, as of September 25’, and miss the companionship of a furry friend immensely! I’ve been responsible for regular walks, feeding routines and general care over the years — particularly while working from home and at weekends when at home. I often walked my auntie’s Cockapoo Luna, alongside Dexter, so I’m confident handling two dogs at once and making sure everyone feels safe, calm and well-managed. I really understand how important routine and consistency are for dogs — from sticking to walk and feeding schedules, to helping them feel comfortable around new people and other dogs. I was also at home during Dexter’s senior years, so I have experience with older dogs and the extra patience, gentleness and awareness they need — without forgetting how much they still enjoy walks, affection and quality time. When looking after any furry friends, I treat every dog as if they were my own: with care, attentiveness and lots of love. My aim is always for owners to feel completely at ease, knowing their dog is safe, happy and genuinely cared for - as I would want mine to be too!

Ella was great with Maggie, she was very professional and communicative. Maggie absolutely loved her and was sad to leave at the end of the day!

Drop-In Visits • Jun 09, 2026

Amazing again thanks Ella! We booked Ella at short notice after some plans changed, and she had to let herself in to our house to feed Sparrow and take her for a walk, and then lock up again behind her. All went smoothly and she kept us informed along the way, which put my mind at rest. Highly recommended

Ella did a great job with our springador Sparrow, taking her out twice at short notice, having never met her before. They had a great time together and we are definitely looking to use Ella again! Thank you Ella

Rani enjoyed her short stay with Ella. Communication with Ella was swift and she accommodated our last minute request in the change of schedule. We will definitely use Ella if she is available when we are in the area the next time.

Schedule

I work from 2 days a week, which means I’m around and flexible throughout these days. I always take a proper lunch break, which is the perfect time for walks or home visits, and I’m happy to plan my day around a dog’s usual routine. I also have a small patio in the rear of my flat which is easily accessible for any sized dog and will provide a space for quick relief for dogs. At weekends, getting outside is already part of my routine. I often go for long walks with my boyfriend or meet friends at Hampstead Heath or Regent’s Park, so having a dog with me feels like a natural and joyful addition to plans I already love. Whether it’s a relaxed stroll, a play-filled walk, or simply keeping a dog company at home, I’m more than happy to adapt to their needs and energy levels.

Safety, trust & environment

I care for pets by sticking closely to their usual routine, as I know how important familiarity and consistency are for dogs. Before any booking, I like to understand their feeding schedule, walk routine, personality and any specific needs so they feel comfortable and settled. In a pet owner’s home, I’m respectful of the space and focused on making sure dogs are fed on time, walked as agreed, and given plenty of attention and reassurance. I’m confident caring for dogs of different ages and will always keep an eye out for any changes in behaviour or energy. If a dog is with me at home, they’ll be in a calm, safe environment with lots of company. I work from home, so I’m around during the day for walks, breaks and cuddles, and dogs are never left alone for long. I’m always happy to send updates and photos so owners can feel relaxed knowing their dog is in good hands.

A typical day

Depending on their energy levels, I will plan a walk which is hopefully perfect to them! Making sure I’m aware of all their favourite treats, or ones to avoid, I am always keen to practice tricks and play games to keep them stimulated. Cuddles are a must, if they’re a cuddly pup. So I can always fit those in! Providing comforting company is the main focus and making sure they feel relaxed in any environment they’re in.

Please let me know of - any specific eating habits your dog might have. - how they walk on a lead & any triggers they may have on the lead. - if they’re reactive to a specific gender. - if they’re affectionate or prefer space (I will be able to read this within a dog but it’s always good to know their general state :))
