My job is full-time remote/wfh, so I have a very flexible schedule to care for your pet! I am available during the daytime for walking, pet-sitting, or check-ins, and would be delighted to wfh and watch your pet while you’re in the office. My weekday schedule can be quite flexible, and I can often do weekends as well with more than 5-days notice.

As a pet-owner myself, I get how imperative it is to establish trust with a sitter or walker. It's important to me to know your dog's routine and preferences (whether that's their favorite treat, tickle spot, or regular walking route), as well as what is off limits or should be avoided, such as certain areas of the home or encounters with other dogs. My preference is always to meet you and your pup ahead of time to exchange this information and establish trust!

Ahead of time, I’d love to know more about your dog's temperament, activity level, dietary needs/restrictions, and any medical issues. In case of any issues, I’d like to have the location and phone number of their vet in case of emergencies. It would also be great to know if you have a particular schedule of when you usually feed and walk your dog. And for the more fun part - where your dog’s tickle spot is, and how many photos you’d like to receive of them ☺️
A typical day
Depending on how active and energetic your dog is, I would take them on a long walks through neighborhoods or spend time exploring the sights and smells of a new park. If they have a favorite toy at home, you can count on me to play fetch or any mind games that are part of their routine.

Pet care experience
I moved from Washington DC to London in 2023, and I love my new home but desperately miss my family dog! My family got Stevie, a havanese-shih tzu, as a puppy in early 2020, and I swear my heart grew 10x larger. I had experience walking and caring for dogs growing up, but nothing makes you love pup time more than caring for your own. We did it all - potty training, crate training, teeth brushing, fetch, and regular cuddles. When I moved into DC, my flatmate and I did Rover services - because we missed our family dogs so much! - and regularly boarded, walked, and did drop-in visits for dogs in our neighbourhood. Overall, I have extensive experience caring for dogs - including training puppies and navigating pet illnesses - and look forward to becoming best friends with yours.

Bailey is amazing! She is great with my dogs, warm, responsible and communicative. She sends me plenty of updates and pictures and seems to genuinely enjoy being around the dogs! I can’t recommend her enough for dog sitting!
