About: I am a dedicated animal lover who understands the responsibility and true meaning of care with owning a pet! Growing up I had three dogs, multiple cats- one of which I still have now, guinea pigs, snakes, fish and a budgie called Bruce. My passion for animals led me to successfully achieve an animal management level 3 diploma in 2019. After working in retail for a few years, I soon found my feet 6 years ago at a local doggy daycare and boarding! I am now the general manager there and I absolutely love every aspect of it! I have great knowledge targeting dog and cat behaviours, needs and body languages. I'm used to feeding, administering medication, basic grooming such as teeth cleans, baths, brushing and nails. I am also trained in basic obedience training. I am very confident and widely experienced in dog walking- including up to 4 dogs at once. Alongside my career I have also house/ pet sit friends and family cats and dogs over the years and have found great joy in not only helping but providing a high level of care and love towards their fur babies. I work full time as a manager at a dog daycare/ boarding. I do 9-5 Mon- Fri and more than happy to house/ pet sit during the week and weekend but I am unable to check in during the day. I am used to following any instructions you give. Even happy to help train dogs, walk them, create enrichment activities for them. I ensure fresh water is down 24/7 and that they are fed- even if food needs defrosting. I’m happy to clean litter trays if needed, administer medication, put bins out, poo pick, tidy up after myself after I leave, anything you needed done. Working the job I do I am hot on safety- closing doors, door barging, choking, overheating etc

About: I have reared puppies and looked after pets all my life. Animals are my passion and bring me much joy. I have vast experience looking after other people’s pets having worked in my friend’s dog sitting franchise for many years. I've also done countless dog/cat sits with another site and have glowing testimonials which I am happy to share. Now that I'm semi retired and can work from home I can spend even more time caring for your pets. I'm extremely fit and love nothing more than going for long dog walks in parks and the countryside. I'm happy to dog sit in your house or can have small dogs at my place. I live in a maisonette with a huge park 3 seconds from my front door. I've had 2 dogs while living here and pride myself on making sure they were always kept stimulated and had at least 2 walks per day. I'm a very responsible, dependable and trustworthy person who you can rely on to look after your pets and home. I am semi retired and work for myself via my laptop. My hours are totally flexible allowing me plenty of time for pet care. I am happy to look after pets in your own home while your away or have them in my own home. I am very much a home body so your pets won’t be left alone for long periods of time. I live opposite a very large park and am also close to some beautiful countryside. Walking is one of my hobbies so your dogs will get plenty of exercise to keep them stimulated. I am in the process of doing a dog behavioural course to better understand how our furry babies operate. I’m used to looking after all sorts of dogs and cats - both large and small.
About: I have taken care of and trained over 70 dogs in the past 3 years professionally as well as family and friends’ dogs for the last 5 years, teaching them how to listen, understand and act out basic skills such as waiting, sitting and going when being told to as this is essential to keep the animals and everyone around them safe. Also taught a couple stubborn puppies how to walk using their leash safely and how to combat any anxieties near other animals or people. Staying fit means that I'm able to handle dogs up to 45kg with no fear of escaping. I have also been taking care of a kitten over the past 2 years, giving me experience to provide a safe and comfortable environment for your kittens. I have a diverse availability throughout the week for the majority of the services and live with my parents so there will be someone at home at all times My house includes a fenced garden, a baby gate between the kitchen and the rest of the ground floor and a crate that is available for use if needed . Dogs are allowed to sleep in a different room /bed/ their dog bed/ crate if needed , in order to not disturb their routine.

I currently work flexible hours and from home so have the availability to walk, feed, and house sit your fury buddy anytime during the day ❤️. Caring for pets in their home involves several important steps to ensure their well-being and comfort: 1. **Meet and Greet**: Before starting, meet the pet and owner to understand the pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs. 2. **Maintain Routine**: Stick to the pet’s usual feeding, walking, and sleeping schedule to minimize stress. 3. **Provide Companionship**: Spend quality time playing, cuddling, and interacting with the pet to keep them happy and engaged. 4. **Monitor Health**: Keep an eye on the pet’s health, including eating habits, energy levels, and bathroom routines. Be prepared to administer any medications if needed. 5. **Ensure Safety**: Make sure the home environment is safe and secure. Check that doors and windows are closed, and remove any hazardous items. 6. **Communication**: Keep the pet owner updated with regular photos and messages about their pet’s well-being. 7. **Clean Up**: Clean up after the pet, including litter boxes, cages, and any messes they might make.

“Elaine was an absolute lifesaver with my senior dog, Jess, who hasn’t been feeling her best. I needed someone I could trust to check in on her while I was out or busy, and Elaine understood her needs straight away. She went above and beyond to make sure Jess was comfortable, and Jess clearly enjoyed her company. You can tell Elaine adores animals and always does her utmost to ensure they’re in safe, caring hands. Thank you again!”
“Bryony has been absolutely amazing with our new puppy. She came to meet Tayto initially which gave us a great sense of comfort as new dog owners. Throughout her visit Bryony has kept in contact with us which only reaffirms for us that she was the best choice for our dog. Would definitely recommend”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, so caring for animals has been a natural part of my life from day one. Over the years, I’ve had hands-on experience looking after dogs, cats, and rabbits, and I truly feel most at home when I’m around animals. I’m also a dog owner myself and share my life with my dachshund, so I completely understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. Leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful — especially if they’re nervous or sensitive — and I never take that responsibility lightly. Having a nervous dog of my own has given me a deep understanding of patience, gentle handling, and the importance of creating a calm, safe environment where dogs can feel secure and loved. I’m naturally calm, patient, and affectionate, and I always take the time to get to know each pet as an individual. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or needs a bit of extra reassurance, I promise to care for them as if they were my own. I’m available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and I’d love the opportunity to give your pet attentive, loving care. I work full time but work from home when i can and have weekends off. I have time to walk, do drop in visit or do overnight stays if required. In my own home, I follow a consistent, thoughtful routine with my dog to make sure he feels safe, settled, and well cared for. I walk him three times a day and make sure he’s fed on a reliable schedule. As he’s a nervous and reactive dog, particularly with loud or sudden sounds, I’m very mindful of his environment and always approach situations calmly and patiently. Living with and caring for a sensitive dog every day has taught me how important structure, reassurance, and gentle handling are, and I bring that same level of care and understanding to every pet I look after.
About: I have no children but I do have a kitten. I helped bring up my sister’s puppy-turned-dog during Covid, I regularly look after my sister’s dog for days and hours. I take her for walks, feed her, play with her and drop her off. I also sometimes look after my best friend’s cat when she is at work or on holiday. I am flexible with weekends, and week days I work hybrid so I am home most of the week - aside from Tuesday and Thursday, which are my office days. ☺️ I keep door closed and always use lead when outside. The area is usually gated outside, and I have space for a crate if needed. I have a few green areas next to me. I live basically in town, with non-main road access in too for particularly vulnerable puppies.
About: With years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, from energetic large breeds to affectionate small ones, I have developed a deep understanding of the unique needs of each dog. As a dedicated pet owner myself, I've had the pleasure of raising and nurturing dogs of all breeds, ensuring they receive the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. My passion for animals, combined with my commitment to providing safe and enriching environments, makes me a reliable and caring companion for your furry friend. I currently own a 10-month-old husky/shepherd mix named Loki, and he is such an adorable boy with the sweetest temperament. I work from home most of the time, which allows me to be present for your dog throughout the day. Even on the occasional days when I need to go into the office, there is always a family member at home, ensuring that your dog will never be left alone and will always have companionship and care. I have a 10ft fenced backyard with a nature reserve close by to take your pup on engaging walks in nature. I also have my own pup Loki who loves playing with other dogs of all sizes and is extremely welcoming to new dogs and people within the household. Loki is crate trained and sleeps in his crate at night if you need your dog to be crated if needed.
About: I grew up surrounded by pets - a cat and a Saint Bernard who shaped some of my happiest childhood memories. Later, I had my own beloved Pomeranian, who may not have lived a long life, but lived a very loved one. Because of these experiences, caring for pets comes naturally to me and from the heart. Friends regularly trust me to care for and sit their pets, knowing how much love, patience, and attention I give. I truly believe dogs are our best friends and often the best version of humans - loyal, kind, and full of joy. I’m attentive to each pet’s personality, routines, and emotional needs, whether that means playful energy, calm companionship or extra reassurance. Pet care fits well into my daily and weekly routine. I can plan my time around walks, feeding, and check-ins and make sure pets get consistent care and attention. I follow the owner’s instructions and the pet’s usual routine. I keep the space clean and make sure pets are supervised and comfortable. I pay attention to how they behave and adjust care if needed, whether that means more activity or more quiet time. When I’m caring for a pet, my goal is simply that they are safe, calm, and looked after properly.
About: Three years ago, while studying at university in South Africa, I was a dog sitter for the Canine Club. Now, in the UK, I work in marketing during the week, but on weekends, I still love to dive back into dog walking and pet care whenever I can! I work full-time as a local marketing manager at the Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts—three days in-office, two days from home. Weekends, though, are completely free for all your pet-sitting needs! 💕 I’d ensure they’re safe by providing all the love, care, and attention I’d give my own pets, while carefully following any instructions or briefs the owner provides. Your home and your pet would be in trusted, attentive hands!

I make sure the pets I look after are well-taken care of, feel comfortable, eat well, rest, do their necessities and play with me so that they feel relaxed and liberate the energy they need.

About: I’ve been doing animal rescue since I was 8 years old. This has given me experience with a variety of different breeds and temperaments. I’ve worked with dogs, cats, horses, cows, and some wildlife at a sanctuary. I've also been dog-sitting since I was 15, which has given me experience in pet care specifically. I also work from home, so when I house sit, I will be there for your pets at all times (other than to run basic errands). I have a full-time work-from-home job that is very flexible, allowing me to go on midday walks and stay at your home, no matter how far it is from mine. I am very active and would love to take your pet for a run (if they are up for it). I will be sure to follow your instructions on safety in your home. The safety of your pet is the most important thing to me. When we are on walks, your pet will be on a leash the whole time unless instructed otherwise.
About: I have had family dogs since I was 10. Our first springer spaniel was quite a nervous boy so I have experience in caring for dogs who may be anxious and need some extra patience and time. I have also looked after dogs with medical requirements needing some extra attention! I love going for walks and know how much energy some dogs can have but also how some may just need some calm company. I’m a paramedic so my availability unfortunately changes week to week (which is why I can’t have a dog of my own currently). My rota sticks to day, day, late, night. Then I have 5 days off. In these 5 days off I am very flexible and able to look after your dog and cater to whatever needs they may have. My flat has its own private enterancd and although no private garden it does have a private grounds area shared with those in the block, where I can take dogs out for toilet breaks. I’m surrounded by lovely green spaces for long walks and activities such as the great park or Virgina water! I have space for dog beds, toys and food for over night stays or long days. I also have a car so I am able to travel easily to your home and keep your dog company or take them for a nice walk locally. I live with my partner, Harry, who is a police officer. He has also grown up with dogs all his life so is well experienced and also misses having a furry friend around!
