About: I'm back on Rover after a bit of life upheaval & house moving! Consistently dog sat multiple dogs whilst living in London and have looked after many friends and family dogs over the years whilst being unable to have one of my own. I love dogs and would love to be a dog mum one day! I had my own cats for 12 years and they were my absolute pride and joy! I will happily tailor any pet-sitting to the pet and owner; lots of playtime and cuddles or long walks and an afternoon nap, as long as your pet is happy, I'm happy! I have an incredibly flexible routine as I have unfortunately had to stop work due to a few chronic health issues, so that means i have all the time in the world to focus my time, energy & love on your pet! At all times, your pet's safety is the most important thing. I focus on instructions given by the owner, whilst developing a trusting & loving relationship with your pet.
About: I'm a dog groomer and I have helped look after family dogs all my life. I have had my own personal dog for five years. I'm great with all tempers of dogs I'm starting my own business as a dog groomer though things are slow so wanted to start walking and sitting dogs. My business is my priority but if I have no clients I can walk dogs and dog sit. I will work with you to keep you dog safe and their routines kept. I'll keep dogs that need to be on lead on a lead.

About: Welcome! My goal is to make every dog feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. I provide a calm, clean and caring home where dogs are treated like family. I have several years of experience caring for dogs for friends, family and clients. Every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality, routine and individual needs. I have a flexible schedule, which means your dog will enjoy plenty of attention, walks, playtime, cuddles and a calm home environment. I always follow your instructions carefully and provide regular photo and message updates, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe and caring hands. I look forward to welcoming your dog into my home and caring for them as if they were part of the family. I have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give every dog plenty of time and attention. I am available throughout the week and weekends for walks, playtime, feeding and overnight stays. I always adapt to each dog’s routine to help them feel relaxed and at home. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow every owner’s instructions, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise routines and any special requirements. I provide a clean, calm and loving home where dogs can feel secure and relaxed.
About: I've had dogs my entire life. From calming down a boisterous Doberman at 12 years old to caring for a very old, deaf and blind Chihuahua. (Please note I do not have any pets in my own flat so can take on dogs that aren’t comfortable around others too) In my family there is currently a 7 year old bouncy German Short Haired Pointer (that we rescued at 1 and a half years old), a 1 year old Corgi who thinks the post man is out to get her, a 6 year old miniature Jack Russell and the previously mentioned 16 year old Chihuahua. My boyfriend's family also own a 3 year old Cockapoo who is surprisingly the calmest of the bunch (if you exclude his love of muddy puddles). I work from home 3-4 days a week and can accommodate your pup during those hours be it walking them before/after work or over lunch, or simply being with them while I work. My weekends are wide open for all your dog caring needs (just appreciate some notice). I live in a secure flat with a communal greenery area but also a short walk from a dog friendly field. If needed I can walk or take care of your dog wherever needed. I’m also a short walk away from a huge wood where dogs can run free. I have a dog whistle for this but only dogs with good recall will be let off the lead.

About: I have always loved looking after dogs or any animals. I have 2 dogs myself and a turtle. They are my world and couldn’t imagine life without them. I can work really well with pet routines and life styles. I work full time in a local nursery in Bordon but always happy to help look after animals even if it is a quick pop in visit in my break to let them outside or to feed them I will always make sure there routine works around me as well. I’ve never cared for someone else’s dog or animal in my house as I have 2 of my own dogs and it will just confuse them but I have always either stayed at that persons house or if they don’t need me to I pop over around the hours everyday to make sure that they are ok and got things that they need.
About: I have grown up with animals and although I don’t have my own, good friends do - I spend time around animals and am very comfortable I am based in Holybourne (near Alton) so plenty of open spaces and fresh air. I also have a garden and enjoy long walks. I work from home. I am happy to video call prior to a booking to make sure that both sides are happy with the care. I am a calm considerate person and will take care of your pet as you ask me to.

“Our first time of using ‘Harry’ for an afternoon of care for our two dogs (Beagle and Lab) and we are extremely happy with how things went! Harry is very personable, clearly loves animals and kept in good contact with us throughout the afternoon - we returned to two very relaxed and well cared for pets! We would definitely recommend!”

“Stephanie was quite simply the best!! Considering we had accidentally locked our cat in the garden office and he was finally freed, very angry, and she dealt so well with him. Lots of messages throughout the week giving us updates & looked after Boodgy brilliantly! would definitely recommend Stephanie to look after your pets! We will book again!”

“Ellie Is reliable, professional and punctual. My cats, who are often spooked by strangers and don't trust easily, liked her a lot. She's very sweet with them and precise in her communication with us pets parents. Recommended.”

About: I’ve taken care of everything from Bearded Collies to Jack Russell’s and have been trusted to dog sit and take for walks since living at home for family and friends. I’ve taken voluntary redundancy from a full time job in property as the weekend working no longer works for our family. I love animals and am looking to fit this in while my son is at nursery. I am based in North Warnborough and walking distance to lovely open spaces and the Basingstoke canal and am available for dog walking and home visits Wednesday - Friday.
“Danielle met all our needs for our very unsociable cat and tortoise, she kept us informed and gave our cat lots of love, we would highly recommend her and would definitely use her again if she is available.”

About: I have grown up with German Shepherds, Boarder Collies, Spaniels and Malamutes, rescues (along with the odd cat). Both training them and general day to day care is second nature to me now! I have a DBS check and insurance for your peace of mind. I build a level of trust with owner and pet alike, I know how difficult it can be to leave a part of your family in someone else care so I want to make that as easy as possible. I am currently available throughout the week and weekends if I have marked a certain date as unavailable please pop me a message and we will see what we can do Dog will only be left to roam in the garden if you have confirmed it is secure. Dogs are never off lead unless you are fully confident in their recall.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs over the years, from puppies to older dogs. Feeding, walking, training and providing for their every need. As well as dogs, I have experience in looking after horses and smaller pets. I currently work from home so I am around all day & your dog can be walked multiple times a day depending on their needs. I treat every dog I look after as my own as they’re such special animals and are apart of the family. I have a fenced garden and a lovely woodland across from the house for us to walk in. My friends also have dogs so we can meet up for doggy play dates. I also take dogs which don’t have any recall to an enclosed paddock so they can run freely in a large secure place. I am more than happy to crate your dog if they needed to be.
About: I currently walk a couple of dogs whose owners are busy with work and children. I have always lived around animals, and grown up with pets. From a young age I was taught to care for all types of animals from ducks to goats and horses. I’ve had cats as long as I can remember, I currently have 2 family dogs called Remy & Ziggy as well as my cat Roxy. I adore caring for animals, meeting and finding out each ones individual quirks and personalities is my favourite part. I like to think that I can be calm and loving presence for those older dogs who just want some companionship whilst there owners are busy. Also bringing a fun and playful atmosphere to the more adventurous and energetic types. I treat all animals as I would my own, and thrive on their company as much as I hope they do in return. It is important to give your dog a sensory experience and a fun loving atmosphere whenever possible. If you would like a written reference from a previous dog I’ve looked after just ask. I look forward to meeting your little ones. I’m currently working part time, so I wilI have plenty of time to look after your little (or big) ones. Weekends or during the week I have a lot of flexibility. I will follow whatever notes you leave for me with regards to your pet. I know every owner has a different way of doing things, I don’t wish to mess with that. I make sure the pups feel comfortable and safe around me. Often bringing something with them that had a smell of their owner helps Build trust.

About: Currently in a situation where I can't live with my own pets. I'm beginning training to become a dog trainer and behaviourist and would love to gain some experience and get help with what I learn. As well as everything else to help you and your furry friends. I have grown up with dogs such as huskies, Labradors and a blue roan cocker spaniel. Going on walks is the best, but even better accompanied by man's best friend. I am currently available Mondays to Fridays throughout the day, so maybe while you're at work, you need someone to check in on your pets, sit with them and keep them company, or help them get more exercise by taking them out for a walk. I'm also willing to do some weakened availability, mainly for dog sitting. Feel free to message and inquire about this and I'll let you know if I'm available Unfortunately, I live in a house where I'm not allowed to have animals 😔 I am available to look after dogs in your home, as well as for drop-in visits and, obviously, dog walks.

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Alton
Taryn has been so helpful and flexible, doing all she can to accommodate what we need. She is very friendly, easy to get with and fantastic with our 4-month old puppy. She sent regular photo updates throughout the day. She was very respectful of our home and left it in great condition. We can’t recommend Taryn enough!
