About: I’m a 21 year old university student doing software engineering currently home for the summer. I am very passionate about my love for animals but my biggest inspiration for starting Rover is my girlfriend who is an experienced sitter on the app, I have helped her out with countless bookings since she started out which has developed my experience with pets far further. I have had dogs as a child and absolutely love them, I can confidently say I'm able to care for dogs with any age, routine or special requirement. I have also gained experience with cats from taking after my girlfriend's pet Mistee and multiple other bookings she has done. I can say I have turned into both a cat and dog person since we've been together and will continue to adore animals for the rest of my days.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust. I enjoy spending time with cats and getting to know their individual personalities, from playful and curious to shy and needing a little extra patience. I will provide loving, reliable care in your cat’s own home, following their usual routine and making sure they feel comfortable, happy and safe while you’re away. I have a flexible schedule and can usually work around your needs and your cat’s routine. I’m happy to arrange visits at suitable times, whether your cat needs feeding, playtime, company or simply someone to check in and make sure they are happy and comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and your home. I will always treat your home with respect and care for your cat as if they were my own. I’ll follow your instructions closely, keep their routine consistent and provide updates and photos so you have peace of mind while you’re away.

About: I have my own dog who is 3 and is a bit mad, I regularly take care of friends and family’s dogs, happy to take care of young puppies too. I work shifts so tend to have a lot of free time during the day, my week changes from week to week but it’s worth a message to see if I’m free Currently living in house with garden, dogs of all energy levels suit me. I’m able to come to owners house too for check ins and walks.

About: I’m always the one asked to dog or cat sit! I absolutely love doing it and getting to know the pets. I do sometimes think I’m a dog whisperer as I seem to know what they want or are thinking. I provide lots of cuddles and plenty of play. I have experience looking after both large and small dogs. I have also looked after multiple dogs at once, meeting each of their specific needs. I have experience with nervous and anxious dogs too, adapting the dog walk to suit the dog. I currently work in hospitality but I’m able to be flexible with my days and shifts. I love going out for walks so a little dog to join me would be fab. This gives me the best of both worlds as I sometimes travel so having a pet isn’t suitable for me full time. I have a fenced garden and plenty of parks to offer a well deserved play outside. I enjoy caring for pets in their own home and getting to know their home comforts and routine.

About: I’m a lifelong dog lover with five years of hands-on experience caring for my Labradoodle, Bobbie. Although I’ve recently moved out of the family home, Bobbie has stayed with my mum and dad as she’s very much a family dog. I took Bobbie to puppy classes and trained her myself, so I’m confident with basic training, routines and understanding a dog’s individual personality and needs. I’ve also completed a dog grooming course, which has given me a good understanding of grooming, coat care and making dogs feel comfortable and relaxed. I regularly walk and look after friends’ dogs too, including dogs of different sizes and personalities. I recently had the pleasure of grooming Norman, a small dog who was very sweet (and very good at keeping me on my toes! 😂). I’m caring, patient and reliable, and I’ll always treat your dog as I would my own. I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, love and care while they’re with me. 🐾🩷 I currently work at a bakery, usually my shifts are 7am–3pm, 4–5 days a week. This means I’m regularly available in the afternoons and evenings, as well as throughout my days off. I’ll keep my Rover calendar up to date so my availability is clear. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone you trust. I’ll take the time to get to know your dog, their routine, personality and individual needs. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, keep them safe and give them plenty of attention, affection and exercise. Whether caring for a pet in their own home or taking them out for a walk, I’ll treat them with the same care and patience I would my own dog.

About: I have had dogs around me since I was a child. I have experience with small dogs as well as larger dogs. I have the most experience with larger dogs such as Border Collies, Labradors and Foxhounds. I am currently self employed, working as a security guard. I have a lot of notice when it comes to security shifts so can always prioritise work with your animals. My cats are indoor cats. So I have various cat trees and toys that they play with on a daily basis. I am comfortable with giving flea treatments as well as rewarding them with treats.

About: (Georgia) I have both had pet dogs, cats and many other animals my whole life. I have been very fortunate to experience long living dogs and cats (16+), therefore have experience with puppies / kittens and elderly animals. Not only was I involved with their pet care and giving them all my love, I also have experience dog sitting on Rover and for family friends, including puppies, adult dogs and cats. I would love to continue doing this and show the same care for your animals. (Thalia) I have dogs and have had many other animals previously! One of my dogs has had a spinal injury so I am experienced in giving medication and caring for specific needs. I have experience on Rover and am trusted to look after all family and friends’ dogs! We love going on walks, even better with a dog to come along! We can both be very flexible and are looking for day sits, and longer sits! At the moment, I am at University, finishing online. Therefore, I am free for day care and walks! I am hoping to have regular sits a couple days a week. I am available to board in the pets home! If at the pet owners home, instructions for the pets normal routine/boundaries would be useful to ensure little disruption and maintain full safety to you and your pet.

About: I’ve grown up with and had dogs my whole life. I love being in their company on walks and seeing the joy it brings them. I’ve had Otis since he was a puppy, trained him well and look forward to him making new friends! I’m currently working part time, available Mondays, Thursdays and Weekends! I walk Otis twice a day around local woods, shoreline and large playing fields. I have a fenced in garden, 1 dog Otis who has access to most rooms and the garden. We play treat games for stimulation and have quiet time for naps.

About: My partner and I have experience looking after both small and medium-sized dogs. I grew up in a home with both cats and dogs, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. We’ll care for your dog just as we would our own. I work part-time, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available most weekdays outside of work, as well as evenings and weekends. I know how important it is to find someone reliable, so I’ll always do my best to fit around your schedule and keep you updated while you’re away. My husband and I live in a cosy, pet-friendly flat where your pet will be treated like part of the family. We looked after our own cat for many years, and we’ve also cared for our friends’ and family’s pets whenever they needed a helping hand. Our home is clean, safe, and free from anything that could be dangerous for pets. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for while they’re with us.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds. Growing up, I had two Labradors, Nemo and Bruce, and my nan also bred Labradors, which gave me valuable experience with dogs of different ages, personalities, and needs. I currently have a 7 year old Shih-poo called Luna. Last year, she suffered a spinal injury, which is unfortunately quite common in her breed. Supporting her through a strict three month recovery programme and medication plan required patience, consistency, and attentive care. Thanks to this, we were able to avoid surgery, and she is now back to being a happy and healthy pooch. This experience also gave me firsthand understanding of the extra care, gentle handling, and attention some dogs may need during recovery or later in life. I am regularly trusted by family and friends to care for their pets while they are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for. Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to their usual routine, I take the time to make sure each pet receives the attention they deserve. What sets me apart is my genuine passion for animals and my commitment to providing the highest standard of care. I understand that leaving your pet with someone else requires trust, and I will always provide the same level of care, affection, and attention that I give to Luna (and she is one pampered pooch!). About: I have been brought up around dogs throughout my childhood and love all sorts of animals. Most recently I have spent the last 3 years fostering for a rescue charity in the USA, rescuing puppies and other dogs from the streets or shelters, giving them loving homes, patience, potty training and preparing them for their furever homes. I have 3 children (9-13) who share my love of animals and stop to stroke every dog/cat in the streets as we walk! I don’t currently have any pets of our own in the house (except fish and a rabbit!) so can give your pet plenty of attention! I work part time from home and can dictate my hours so can be flexible around pets needs, as a family we love long walks at the weekends too and live 5 minutes from the beach. We live in a 5 bed terraced house in Southsea with an enclosed back yard and 5 minute walk from the beach and fields. Happy to crate or allow pets freedom within our home.

About: I am very experienced in pet care, especially dogs! I’ve had furry friends around me since I can remember! I also run a dog company with my sister “zoomies dog walking & sitting” so very experienced and I am always boarding dogs at my house or am house sitting at owners houses, I don’t have a dog myself at the moment so all my attention would be focused on your furry friend I currently am working from home so have plenty of time to care for your furry friends weekdays and weekends! I also offer house sitting at owners houses if this suits you and your dog better :) I let dogs have free run of the downstairs of my house and I also have a large completely closed in garden so lots of room to run around and lots of shady spots for them hotter days!

About: I have very recently lost my beautiful dog Rufus at the grand old age of 16 years and 9 months. From picking him up at 8 weeks to saying our last goodbye, I guided and supported him through puppy training and recognising his additional needs as he grew old. He brought me joy and unconditional love. He was family and loved more than words can say. As well as taking care of him, I have regularly looked after his best mates, Zampa and Sunny and our Grand dogs Woody and Riri. My love for all animals, particularly dogs, defines me as a person. I can't face getting another dog of my own for the foreseeable but the aching emptiness in my heart I feel could be eased by taking care of and loving other fur babies. I currently work just week day mornings between 07.30-10.30 and should this prove successful, I will give up my job and devote to pet care full time. We have a quiet, pet and child free home with a lovely secure garden and two parks within minutes walking distance. Dogs are welcome in every part of the house 🥰

About: i’ve worked closely with my auntie previously who is a dog groomer so i would look after the dogs before and after grooms and assist her with grooming, i would let the dogs out in the garden, feed them and play with them i am currently working part time so i have about 3/4 days available in the week to look after dogs/walk them or pet sit :) i have a fenced garden to cater the dogs so they can be be let out freely, and i have lots of toys from previous dogs to play with them, and i can give them my full attention

About: I have looked after dogs and cats for 3 decades as my pets. I am passionate in keeping them safe, feeding, walking and playing with them. I am free on most days as I work set days as a part time Clinical Nurse Specialist in Cardiology. You can pre booked up to 3 days so I can accommodate you but if urgent, I can negotiate! I have a secured home and garden with fence so your pets are safe. I have a place to fit them in if you want overnight sitting. I can visit home for cat sitting as I drive a car.

About: Dogs have been around me since I can remember. Growing up, there have always been at least 2 dogs in the house. I've been lucky enough to share a home with 6 dogs in total, 5 of them being Jack Russels and one Springer so if you're wondering how many years of experience I've had with dogs, it would be 25 years. A majority of my family have had dogs too. Uncles, aunties, my nan and family friends have dogs that I love being around, some are more hectic than others but I enjoy the balance. I'm fortunate enough to be in a job which encourages working from home. Since I've been in this job, I've noticed how much more relaxed my current dogs have become when someone is around them all day. I understand how it can be stressful for dog owners to balance work and care for their puppies so with the flexibility of my work, I could make your days a lot let stressful when coming back from home. I've looked after family dogs in the past within their homes. I enjoy getting to know new dogs as well as learning their routine. I work full time but it's all from home. There isn't an office for us to work in so everyone in the company is expected to work in their own environments. This means that essentially, I'm always going to be on hand. I'm thankful that my work encourage flexibility with working hours throughout the week so although the job is a 9-5, it can chop and change throughout the week to fit my needs. Where I live, we have quite a big garden which is all fenced off so our two dogs can run around freely. In terms of caring for your dog, I'm happy to follow your guides and your rules. If you and your dog/s have a routine, I'm all ears. Whatever makes your life easier, I'm happy to comply with.
