About: I did dog walking for a few years during COVID, and am also currently studying veterinary medicine, where safe interaction with and management of animals is a large part of the course. I also have OSCEs (qualifications) in handling cats and dogs safely!! I'm currently a student, so I would have to work around my lectures. However some of my lectures are online, and it is almost the end of the academic year, so I will be able to have very flexible bookings! I have a cat at home, so I am well accustomed to their sometimes unpredictable nature. I'm also able to take dogs out on walks and safely put them in crates if needed.

About: While I wasn’t lucky enough to grow up with my own dog, I have always been around family and friend’s dogs. On moving to London, I signed up to Borrow My Doggy and looked after multiple dogs - both just for walks and in owners’ houses. I was lucky to be down the road from a good friend for 3 years and regularly looked after their whippet (Goose) when they needed. I even had her for a sleepover when they welcomed their baby. I am confident and assertive around dogs and would just love to have them in my life a bit more while I’m still unable to get my own. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays and would love to have a pup to snooze by my feet for some of the day and get me out and about walking too. At weekends I am fairly social but love getting out for walks whether with friends or on my own. I have recently moved back to Portsmouth and into my first house. I have a small garden and would be happy to have dogs in my home.

About: We've had dogs in the family since I was a baby. We've had Newfoundlands, Alsatians, Cockerpoos, Staffies and Labs to name a few. I've looked after my own, friends and neighbours pets over the years. Whether whilst on holiday or just popping in to keep them company and make sure they have fresh water and food down whilst they're at work. I did the Duke of Edinburgh award many moons ago but did 3 months at a vets and learnt a lot. I also studied animal management at South downs College, looking after a range of animals and did a 1 month placement on a dairy farm in southwick. So you can trust no matter how big or small your fur baby will be in capable hands. I've generally had all sizes of pets from the types listed above as well as cats, I've also had rodents, horses too. One thing all pets have in common is they love and need some attention so if your furry companion(s) need some TLC whilst you're away. Drop me a message and I'll be happy to help out, however is needed. I work a 35 hour week but on a seasonal contract so my availability is wide open from November to March. I have between 2 and 3 days off a week and can accommodate most times around my shift pattern. So long as my own pooches are sorted out I don't have a private Garden but I have communally shared grounds. Im a stones throw away from Milton common and my two love a walk and a swim. If I am caring for your furry family member at your own home. You can be rest assured I'll treat it with great care. I'll happily sort any accidents and will keep you updated should I find anything troubling to make sure issues can be solved. I regularly come home to torn up letters and the odd toilet roll strewn throughout my flat.

About: I've had multiple dogs growing up, including raising a successful guide dog puppy with my family. My amazing labrador is back in sydney with my family so will love your pets like my own. I am very calm, loving and active. I am a shift-worker so do not have a very set schedule but it is very dispersed. On my days off I will be very available to look after your animals. I also have a car so can easily make my way to your pets. I rent and unfortunately cannot accommodate pet-stays in my home. If local, I can walk and look after in my home, with a very secure backyard for the day.

About: What truly sets me apart as a pet carer is that my experience comes not only from caring for clients’ pets, but from being a dedicated dog owner and mum myself. I understand first-hand how important trust, consistency, and genuine care are when leaving your pet with someone else. I’m experienced in managing different breeds, temperaments, and routines, and I take the time to get to know each pet as an individual. I don’t offer a one-size-fits-all service — every walk, visit, or stay is tailored to your pet’s needs, energy levels, and personality. Safety, reliability, and kindness are at the heart of everything I do. I provide calm, structured care, clear communication, and regular updates, giving owners complete peace of mind. My pets are cared for in a real home environment, not a kennel, where they receive plenty of attention, affection, and enrichment. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own — with patience, love, and respect — ensuring they feel secure, happy, and well looked after at all times. Hello! I’m a mum and a lifelong dog lover based in Cosham, Hampshire, and I understand just how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can truly trust. As a dog owner myself, I know that our pets are part of the family and deserve the same love, patience, and care when you’re away. I offer reliable, flexible dog walking and pet sitting services, tailored to suit each pet’s individual routine and personality. Whether your dog enjoys long countryside walks, gentle strolls, or simply companionship at home, I’ll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. With my own dogs at home, I’m experienced in managing different temperaments, routines, and energy levels. I pride myself on providing a calm, caring environment and plenty of affection, treats (with permission!), and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. Fun facts about me: • I’m rarely seen without dog treats in my pocket • I love long walks and exploring local green spaces • I treat every dog as if they were my own If you’re looking for a friendly, trustworthy local sitter who will care for your pets as part of the family, I’d love to hear from you. Please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs — I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends! I provide calm, loving, and reliable pet care, whether your pet is staying in my home or being cared for in yours. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I always take the time to follow your instructions closely to ensure continuity of care. In my home, pets are welcomed into a safe, family environment where they are treated as part of the household. They receive plenty of attention, regular exercise, feeding according to their normal schedule, and lots of affection. I maintain a calm, structured setting that helps pets settle quickly and feel secure. When caring for pets in their own home, I respect both your pet and your property. I stick to familiar routines, provide companionship, exercise, feeding, and any basic care required, helping to minimise stress while you’re away. I always ensure your home is left exactly as found and that your pet feels comfortable and reassured. Across both settings, safety, kindness, and clear communication are my priorities. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages, so you can relax knowing your pet is being cared for with the same love and attention I give my own.

About: I am fully insured as a pet sitter and dog walker. I only look after one families pets at a time, I like to provide my full attention to your pet. I have many years experience looking after animals. I have owned little furries since I was 10 years old. I have taken care of family members dogs for many years, walking them regularly and keeping them overnight if required. I have also provided voluntary care including dog walking for people who have difficulty walking their own dogs. I do this purely because I love animals especially dogs, unfortunately due to working shifts means it wouldn't be fair to have a dog of my own. I have my partner to help out at weekends and evenings, who is amazing with dogs and they all seem to absolutely love him! I work shifts so on my days off and I would like to take dogs for regular walks and take care of them whilst families are at work to help fill my time We have a house with a fenced garden and conservatory, with plenty of room to accommodate looking after pets for the day. We have large open spaces nearby for plenty of walks to keep active. I never leave the dogs alone and will be with them at all times. I only look after one dog at a time, 2 if they live together.

About: I have been brought up around dogs throughout my childhood and love all sorts of animals. Most recently I have spent the last 3 years fostering for a rescue charity in the USA, rescuing puppies and other dogs from the streets or shelters, giving them loving homes, patience, potty training and preparing them for their furever homes. I have 3 children (9-13) who share my love of animals and stop to stroke every dog/cat in the streets as we walk! I don’t currently have any pets of our own in the house (except fish and a rabbit!) so can give your pet plenty of attention! I work part time from home and can dictate my hours so can be flexible around pets needs, as a family we love long walks at the weekends too and live 5 minutes from the beach. We live in a 5 bed terraced house in Southsea with an enclosed back yard and 5 minute walk from the beach and fields. Happy to crate or allow pets freedom within our home.

About: Hi, I’m Emma! I absolutely love pets, especially dogs! I’ve grown up around dogs of all shapes and sizes from labs to dachshunds and vizslas to cockapoos. I work in travel so having a full time pet is unfortunately not viable for me, however always jump at the chance to look after friends and families pooches. I love walking and being out and about in nature so when a friend recommend I could get a pet fix at the same time by offering pet services on Rover it made complete sense to me! I work flexibly from home Monday to Friday so can easily accommodate most needs. For last minute requests please do feel free to ask as always happy to help where I can. My weekend plans vary so again really can be flexible to accommodate. If your dog enjoys a walk and a pub visit, even better! When caring for pets in your home I will adhere to your preferences and insights about what’s best for your pet. If we are out and about on a walk rules are never forget a lead, something to throw, dog treats and poo bags!!

Anisha came and took our puppy for a walk and it was clear both she and Alba had a great time. Anisha put in so much effort, keeping up with training, feeding her and making sure she had a drink when she got back. Her communication before, during and after the visit was excellent and it was lovely to receive lots of pictures of Alba whilst they were out too. We would recommend Anisha to any pet owner.
