What sets me apart is the depth and variety of experience I’ve built over my whole life. I’ve grown up with dogs and cats, and after losing my two border collies to old age, I really miss having animals around — so caring for other people’s pets brings a lot of joy and purpose into my home. I’ve looked after pets for family, friends, and referrals for years, which has given me experience with everything from puppies and high‑energy working breeds to small dogs who prefer a calmer pace. I’ve also cared for senior dogs, including my own, and understand the patience, gentleness, and extra support they need. I recently cared for a diabetic cat, so I’m confident with injections and administering medication to both cats and dogs. I’m comfortable managing reactivity, maintaining puppy training, and providing enrichment activities that stimulate a dog’s mind — not just their body. I’m always learning more about animal behaviour and care because I genuinely love what I do. I’ve even looked after other pets like tortoises, fish, and hamsters, so I’m adaptable and confident with a wide range of needs.

Megan looked after our rather anxious and reactive dog for 10 days during which she also house-sat for us and did a great job on this score, with all pots well watered etc.. Megan is calm, patient and confident with dogs and quickly built up a strong bond with him. Megan sent us regular updates including photos and it was obvious he was having a great time and being looked after by someone who really cared about his wellbeing. Both us and more importantly our dog would be very happy to use Megan again.
Megan is very experienced with looking after dogs, she demonstrated a good knowledge base and was confident with Bettys needs throughout the day. She had great facilities with a lovely big garden for her to use if needed. I had a very happy pup when I collected her and would happily leave her with Megan again. Highly recommend
Megan is an absolute star! She recently looked after our active Cocker Spaniel for the first time, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care and attention she gave him. She provided regular walks, found creative ways to keep him mentally stimulated, and gave him a safe, welcoming environment where he was clearly happy and well cared for. Megan also sent us daily updates, which were lovely to receive and gave us real peace of mind that he was settled, content, and enjoying his stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Megan’s dog-sitting services. We’ve already booked her again, which says it all! Thank you, Megan.
My cockapoo Wilson had a fabulous time during his stay with Megan. He was absolutely beaming in the regular photo updates! I found her to be kind, caring, relaxed and very generous with her time, getting to know Wilson, playing water games in the garden to keep him cool, and making every effort to ensure he felt comfortable, safe and loved. I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much!
Megan is an absolute dog whisperer and a brilliant house sitter. We would book her again in a heartbeat. Our dogs don’t always take to people too quickly but they absolutely adored Megan and were a little disappointed when we came home. She treated them like they were her own and would send funny updates and pictures during the stay. She got to know their quirks and made sure they were loved and entertained - even ensuring they stayed cool and calm in the extreme heat we’ve been having. Megan also left the house absolutely spotless (despite my incredibly moulty dogs) and very kindly did the laundry. Thank you Megan!
100% Positive,couldn’t be happier with our experience,my cat Tizzie was in very capable hands ,she did everything we asked , played with her fed her and used her brushes which my cat loves ,sat with her in the garden ,cleaned the dreaded litter box ! and sent updates ,one of which Tizzie had a minor eye problem which Megan sorted with some salt water and bathing which cured the problem before it being a larger thing to deal with whilst I was away on hols , would certainly recommend her and for sure have her back if she’s available x many thanks xx

Schedule
Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I work part‑time from home and also care for my gran, so there is usually someone around throughout the day. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to plan walks, feeding times, and play sessions without rushing. I’m able to adapt to each pet’s usual routine — whether they need early mornings, midday attention, or a calm evening wind‑down — and make sure they get consistent companionship and care. Whether it’s weekdays or weekends, I make sure each pet gets the right balance of attention, exercise, and calm time.

I provide a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for pets. I live with my gran, who loves having dogs around, and my home has a secure garden where pets can enjoy fresh air safely. Because I’m home often, pets get plenty of supervision and company. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, keep doors and gates secure, and make sure pets stay comfortable and relaxed. Having previously owned two border collies, I’m experienced with routines, exercise needs, and understanding different personalities. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they always feel confident their pet is in good hands.
