About: Having grown up with dogs all my life, and 40 years of owning my own dogs, I can offer your dog a safe, caring and loving holiday. I have 2 Cocker Spaniels and have experience in training and breeding. I have recently retired from 40 years of being a staff nurse and now have the time to devote to caring for doggies. I have recently retired from 40 years as a nurse, so have lots of free time to walk, play and cuddle the dogs. I can offer long or short walks and am always down on Stokes Bay for walks with my dogs, come rain or shine. I have a fully enclosed fenced garden, With 2 Cocker Spaniels of my own. "Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My home is clean, secure, and dog-friendly, with plenty of space to relax and play. I make sure all hazardous items, foods, and small objects are kept safely out of reach, and dogs are always supervised during play and feeding times.l only accept a limited number of dogs at once so each pet gets individual attention and care. Walks are always done on-lead unless agreed otherwise and I follow each owner's instructions carefully regarding routines, diet, and medications. I also provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: My husband and I have always loved being around animals. We recently lost our beloved dog, Maya, who lived to the amazing age of 17. My husband adopted her when she was around 4 months old, and for the last 10 years we cared for her together. She was a huge part of our family, and we miss her every day. About: Hi, I’m a retired dog lover living with my husband and our own friendly dog. As I’m home full-time, your dog will never be left alone and will be part of a calm, loving home. We’ve had dogs since 2006, and I volunteered as a dog walker for the RSPCA, so I’m confident with many breeds, reading body language, and supporting anxious dogs, including those with separation worries. We live close to the beach, and your dog will enjoy regular walks, often twice a day, plus time in our secure enclosed garden. Oliwia was fantastic 👏 we met prior to introduce Patch and ourselves and nothing was too much trouble! Claire and her family are wonderful! Jeffrey was cared for as if he were there own. We received regular updates and saw that Jeffrey was happy throughout. Jeffrey was slightly unwell during the first few days which was unusual for him and quite worrying, however Claire kept us assured and we felt comfortable knowing he was being cared for so well. Would highly recommend Claire.
Megan is an absolute star! She recently looked after our active Cocker Spaniel for the first time, and we couldn’t have been happier with the care and attention she gave him. She provided regular walks, found creative ways to keep him mentally stimulated, and gave him a safe, welcoming environment where he was clearly happy and well cared for. Megan also sent us daily updates, which were lovely to receive and gave us real peace of mind that he was settled, content, and enjoying his stay. Julie looked after our dog Herb and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Very easy to arrange a meet and greet, which was great to meet Julie and talk through our dogs needs (who is nervous around children and some dogs). We left feeling extremely reassured and confident that Julie had so much experience with dogs of all varieties. Throughout Herbs stay, the updates, pictures and videos were amazing and we loved receiving them - Herb was tired when she got home from all of her adventures! Our dog, Dylan, had a lovely time and was very contented there and when picked up! Penny was very quick to respond and answer any questions we had. As a doggy parent to an epileptic dog, we can often feel nervous about leaving him with someone new. However, we were very reassured and sent loads of updates and photos. Will book again!
Emily provided a safe, calm environment for Mannie's first ever night away at a dog sitters. She took great care asking questions and Mannie warmed to her and her house instantly. Despite Mannie being a noisy little barky boy and him completely foregoing his toilet training during his first time in a new space, Emily was continuously professional and understanding of dog behaviours and provided excellent care. Not remotely surprised that Teodora has star sitter status: from the very first message, she was accommodating, flexible and responsive. Our nervous spaniel had a blast in her house. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
