“Our slightly tricky dogs were so at home with Preston that they didn't give a backward glance when we handed them over. We got lots of updates and photos so could see that they were in clover during their stay. Definitely a five star holiday for them!”

“Our lively Springer Spaniel loved his stay with Jacqueline, she made sure he's entertained and has enough stimulation whilst giving him plenty of cuddles. Jacqueline was very flexible with us, and made our one day at Victorious stress free, knowing Conker is being cared and we didn't have to rush back to collect him in the morning. We appreciate her great service and would highly recommend.”

“Teodora has been amazing. We first met her at her house where she showed us around and the dogs felt at home almost immediately. They stayed over for a long weekend during which we had daily updates with pictures and videos. They came home relaxed and I can definitely tell they had a great time. She is very experienced and good with communication. She can easily accommodate and respect the needs of the dogs. We are booking another longer stay with her and know that, with her, we can go on holidays worry free.”

“Nasima was fantastic and Yuka loved his stay with her. He came home absolutely shattered. Nasima was very caring and loving to Yuka. It is clear to see how much she loves animals. I would most certainly recommend her and we will definitely be using her services again.”

“So glad we found Emma Our usual lady who looks after Eddie was unavailable, so I started searching and found Emma on Rover.com. The info on the website drew us to her and after a meet before hand we knew that Eddie would be well cared for. He was only staying for 24 hours this time and he had a wonderful time. We received photos of him and her dog Willow on walks by the seaside, followed up by photos of nap time on the sofa when they got back and you could see how content and relaxed he was. We will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“I had to find a dog sitting service last minute as my plans changed, and Julie couldn't have been better. She sent lots of photos and updates to put me at ease so I could enjoy my weekend, and Okanee, my akita, enjoyed hers too! It was like she had a holiday! My dog isn't the easiest to handle around other dogs but it wasn't a problem for Julie, she's very experienced and knowledgeable. Thanks so much.”

About: Me and my fiancé Joshua have owned animals and taken care of friends and family’s beloved pets for many many years. We understand how hard it can be putting your trust in someone with your fur baby. We love giving animals a home from home experience full of love and attention. Working from home provides us with the ability to meet your pets needs all day and on a weekend, your pet will join us on walks and coffee dates! Your pet must be friendly with our dachshund Bruno. He is only small and therefore larger dogs need to be aware of their size! He is not neutered and therefore we cannot accept any females in heat! Our doggy sleeps in bed with us and if that’s what your dog does at home then they can still keep this luxury however, it’s whatever they are comfortable and used to. Growing up on a farm medication has been admitted to many types of animals from horses to sheep! So if this is required for your fur baby this can be completed! Working from home provides the ability to give your pets the attention needed! With the company of our dachshund Bruno to play and join on walks needed Have a fully fenced garden ensuring your pet is safe and secure. Your pet will have the company of two year old dog Bruno to join on walks or simply snuggle up with.

“Excellent service! This is the first time I have left the dogs and go on holiday I would highly recommend Jade she made the whole process very smoothly and easy. Jade was sending me pictures and chatting with my dogs on video call.”

Portsmouth dog owners share their Rover experiences
Belle stayed for a weekend. A lovely family and their dog, Reggie. She was clearly very well cared for and got on very well together, giving credit to everyone for a happy stay. I would definitely recommend, and I'm positive Belle would love to have more time with her new friend, Reggie. Thank you for the photos. Mel & Belle
Fab experience with Lily. My little Spaniel stayed with her over the weekend and I was kept updated throughout with photos. Bonnie loved her time, and had come back a happy, tired pup! Lily was very accommodating with arranging meet and greet along with trial day session! Definitely recommend and can’t thank enough!

Tamina and her housemates were brilliant with Odin. They sent lots of photos and videos to keep us updated. They gave him lots of cuddles and he loved them. They knew how to care for a big boy like Odin. So much so I think Odin was very sad to be leaving theirs. I would 100% use tamina again if I ever need a dog sitter again.

Michaela & Andre looked after our 2 elderly, emotionally needy, cross breeds for 4 nights..and I couldn't be happier! Michaela was so accommodating, making sure my boys had their medication, following their home routine & she went above & beyond to encourage them to eat when they were home sick. I had photos & pupdates daily & my boys came home, happy, tired & with a new home away from home. I can't recommend Michaela & her family highly enough & I wouldn't hesitate to book them again!

I’d definitely recommend Emma as a 5 star sitter and will definitely booking with her again. My dog Eric has just spent nearly 2 weeks with Emma whilst we’ve been on holiday and he’s definitely had a fabulous holiday of his own at her house. Emma kept me up to date with how Eric was getting on and also sent me lots of photos and videos of his adventures with her, her partner and her dog Willow. Eric and Willow got along so well and she’s very chilled with having another dog in her home, vying for her pawrents affections! Eric loves lots of attention, but generally more from humans and tends to be selective with his affection for other dogs, so it was lovely to see videos of him and Willow chasing each other and playing together and photos of them relaxing at home. I’m confident that Eric had a brilliant home from home holiday and Emma will definitely be my first choice of sitter
