“We had such a wonderful experience with Monica as Cactus’ dog sitter. From start to finish, the communication was fantastic — plenty of regular updates, photos, and reassurance that Cactus was happy and well cared for. She enjoyed regular walks and clearly felt comfortable in their care. Cactus did take a dislike to another female dog during his stay, but Monica handled the situation excellently. She made me aware straight away, managed it calmly and responsibly, and kept Cactus’ and the other dogs wellbeing as the priority at all times, which I really appreciated. The handover was quick and smooth, and both Monica and her partner Francesco are genuinely amazing sitters — kind, attentive, and clearly very experienced. Moving forward, I’ll be using one-dog-only sitters due to Cactus’ behaviour but I would still highly recommend Monica and Francesco to anyone looking for caring, reliable, and communicative dog sitters. When we picked the girls up you could instantly tell how much they had warmed to her, so much so that Dottie laid on her back for more belly rubs from Sophie rather than us 😂. Their family dog Theo is so friendly and welcoming to new doggies in his house and it’s lovely that when we go away now, not only do our dogs have human company, they also have another 4 legged friend to play with! Will definitely be using Sophie for all our future boardings and would recommend people to do the same.”

“We left our nine-month staffy Islay overnight with Jo and she had a fantastic time. I was a bit nervous to leave her but Jo was incredibly kind. A few days beforehand she met us for a walk to see how Islay is getting on with everyone. Islay absolutely adored staying overnight with Jo’s family and her dog. She had a blast playing and getting all the attention. They even included Islay in their weekend plans and she spent loads of time outdoors with the whole family. I received regular updates from Jo and I felt so relaxed knowing she was happy and enjoying herself. I’ll definitely be leaving Islay with Jo again in the future. This was such a positive experience and I’m thoroughly happy. I can’t recommend Jo and her family highly enough.”

“Philip has given our 8 month old Spaniel, Olive, the most amazing week of love, care and attention! Leaving your dog with a stranger is daunting and we'd never left Olive before. It was a first for us and we couldn't have wished for a better person!!! Olive & I met Philip for a meet & greet, I knew immediately that he was perfect. His two Dachshunds are adorable and so well cared for. I thought Olive might be too lively for them, but they're so calm and weren't worried about her at all. I left feeling confident that Olive would be in safe hands. Philip is super responsive with messages. He put our mind at rest the first morning, sending pictures of Olive looking very much at home. Throughout the week we received regular messages, fantastic photos and videos. Olive was treated to some great trips out for brilliant walks and exercise - she looked so happy we didn't think she'd want to come home! We will definitely use Philip again and can't recommend him enough. You won't find a more able or caring person!”

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!
