I make sure all hazardous items, foods, and small objects are kept safely out of reach, and dogs are always supervised during play and feeding times.l only accept a limited number of dogs at once so each pet gets individual attention and care. Walks are always done on-lead unless agreed otherwise and I follow each owner's instructions carefully regarding routines, diet, and medications. About: I had a Siberian husky he was a rescue he passed away a year ago he was 13 1/2. I’ve had Cats my life as well rescued from overseas and give them happy loving homes also ride horses and always been a lover of all animals. I work by flexibly and mainly from Home just one day of the week in the office and the office is very local so I can make short trips back to Home. I also honour my bookings but only booking one dog at a time unless they’re a family of pets that way I can give undivided attention to that specific dog or pet. I have a fence garden and I have quiet zones in the house if your fur baby prefers it and can accommodate crates as well

I’ve owned reactive dogs for many years, so I understand the importance of calm handling, patience, routine and being constantly aware of surroundings while out walking. We are a family home with children, so any dogs staying with us would need to be comfortable around children and a normal family environment. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
