5. Rebecca W.

“Our 2 and a half year old cavapoo called Alfie had the best time for day care with Becky. She took him on a lovely walk into the woods and she reassured us that he was happy and relaxed with some photos throughout the day. Becky is friendly and reliable and we will definitely use her again if needed. We would also use Becky for over night stays in the future. Alfie says thank you too.”

About: As a dog owner myself who has used Rover I know how hard it can be to find someone in your area who can look after your dog it is often the biggest worry when going away on holiday. 🐾I aim to provide a reliable and loving place for your dog while you're away. I like the idea that it will be a home-away-from-home experience for your much loved pet. 🐾I aim to to provide the best care, ensuring your dog feels safe and loved. 🐾My house is a clean, spacious, and a comfortable environment where your dog can relax and play and the garden is completely secure My husband and I have a relaxed attitude to dogs on our settees as we want them to be our guests and part of the family. 🐾I understand that every dog is unique. Patience, separate walks, cuddles, giving medicine and a watchful eye on special senior dogs who may need a little extra care. 🐾Your dog will enjoy plenty of playtime and socialization with other friendly dogs, on walks (if you want) keeping them happy and active. We have a black Labrador called Poppy who loves other dogs, Your dog can hang out with her or spend more one on one time with me there is enough space for them both. Poppy was a puppy when Max was in his senior years so she loves older dogs and is very respectful towards them. 🐾I will send you regular updates with photos, so you can rest easy knowing your dog is in good hands. This is always important to me me if I leave Poppy with anyone! 🐾I want to give you a worry-free experience, knowing your dog is receiving the best care possible! 🐾 I am lucky enough to have taken early retirement so what better ‘hobby’ that looking after a lovely dog to keep me occupied! “Grace was amazing and had Willow last minute! She kept me updated with lovely photos and videos of Willows day. She was flexible with timings which was really helpful when you work shifts. Willow seemed to have the best time and was completely exhausted by the time she got home! Would highly recommend x”

10. Mea & John T.

“Mea was very welcoming to both my Tony and myself. Meeting beforehand really put mind at ease, as I could see my dog interacting with Meas. Tony was well looked after, safe and happy. Will definitely be looking to book again and recommend to others. Thank you Mea. X”

11. Pauline V.

“Dogs were very happy after a full day with Pauline. it was a perfect way top ensure the dogs were looked after whilst we were doing sight seeing at 'non dog friendly' sights and gave them a rest after visiting many of hampshires sights. Apologies to Pauline if they got a bit excited and pulled too much, for little cavaliers, when they want, they seem to have a lot of strength.”

About: We all love dogs here, and dogs seem to like our relaxed house. We took a large dog that would pull your arm off, treated it like it was our child and it turned into the most loyal friend you could hope for. As myself and my husband work at different times, there is always someone at home to cater to doggie's needs. My husband goes for a walk every evening, and is missing Bruno when he does. We have a large, 30 metres, fenced in garden where dogs are free to play and run and fetch, and poop of course. And they can sleep where they are comfortable.

14. Elliott J.
About: I’ve been surrounded by and cared for animals my whole life, including dogs of all sizes and temperaments. From high-energy pups who need lots of exercise to senior dogs who prefer a slow stroll and cuddles, I know how to tailor my care to meet their needs. My experience means I understand body language, behaviour, and how to ensure a stress-free, positive environment for your dog. I work from home three days a week, so I’m around for regular walks, playtime, and companionship. My wife is home full-time, meaning your dog will always have someone around for company, belly rubs, and supervision. Walks and potty breaks are scheduled regularly throughout the day, with plenty of time for fun and relaxation. We live in a secure apartment in a quiet area with plenty of greenery and walking routes. While our rear garden isn’t fenced, it’s a private, tucked-away area that backs onto a small car park, making it a safe spot for supervised outdoor time. I take dog safety seriously, whether that’s ensuring they’re on a secure lead during walks, following their usual routine to minimise stress, or providing a calm, loving environment.

15. Luke T.
“Luke had looked after my two dogs on several occasions and always does a great job. They are both happy to go with him and seem well looked after.”

16. Samantha M.

“Samantha was amazing with my nervous Honey. Sent photos to immediately put me at ease. Samantha and her family made Honey feel so at home I could see she was very much enjoying herself. Would absolutely use Samantha’s services again.”

About: SJ's Sofa4Sighthounds is 5* licenced home boarding which began in March 2023 - providing a safe garden for zoomies, all the home comforts, company and safe walkies. Please note you will have to complete forms and send proof that your dog is up to date with vaccinations. A trial sleepover before your holiday is an absolute must. I accept sighthounds... Greyhounds, Lurchers, Salukis, Whippets, Italian Greyhounds... you get the idea, those skinny sensitive beauties. Home boarding is my full time job. I have a licence with Gosport Council, insurance and I am doggy first aid trained. I don't take noisy dogs or dogs with separation anxiety as I have neighbours both sides. If you know your dog wees indoors, just be honest and supply dog nappies/belly bands. As per my licence requirement from my council, all dogs must have a trial sleepover before their longer stay. I provide: Tractive GPS tracker on your dog whilst in my care. Good sized back garden with high fences. Tall dog gates on doorways. Extra large K9 Comfort sofa dog beds (ultra comfortable and supportive). And XL fluffy donut beds. Secure and safe on lead walkies only. A whole lot of affection, patience and love.
