About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, so being around dogs has always felt very natural to me. I absolutely love their different personalities, quirks and individual needs, and I’m happiest when I have a four-legged friend around. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs of different sizes, ages and personalities, from Jack Russells and Sprockers through to larger dogs such as Boxers. I’ve cared for dogs from playful puppies through to older dogs who need a little more patience, care and a slower pace. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs who need plenty of exercise and play, as well as dogs who are happier having a quieter day with lots of cuddles and company. I understand that every dog is different, and I’m happy to follow their usual routines, whether that’s specific walking times, feeding arrangements, treats, playtime or simply giving them space when they need it. I’m also very aware of how important it is for owners to feel confident that their dog is safe, happy and well cared for while they’re away. I currently can’t have a dog of my own iwhere I live, which is one of the reasons I’ve joined Rover. I’d love to spend more time with dogs and give them plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles while their owners are busy or away. I work from home, although I also work a mixture of day and night shifts, so my availability varies from week to week. I’ll always be upfront about my availability and make sure I can properly commit to any booking before accepting it. For me, looking after dogs isn’t just a job, it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’d love to get to know your dog, build their trust and make sure they feel comfortable, loved and looked after while they’re with me 🐾🖤 My shifts are usually either 7am–7pm or 7pm–7am, so my availability varies from week to week. I’m happy to come to your home and stay with your dog for the day, keeping them company in their own familiar surroundings. Depending on my shift, I can fit walks in before or after work, and on my days off I’m much more flexible and can spend the whole day with them whether that’s walks, playtime, cuddles or simply keeping them company. I’ll always plan bookings around my rota so I can give your dog plenty of time, attention and care I currently offer pet care in the pet owner’s home, so your dog can stay in their own familiar surroundings where they feel most comfortable. I’m happy to pop in for walks, feeding and playtime, or stay with them for longer periods when needed. I think keeping their usual routine as normal as possible helps them feel settled while you’re away, and I’m more than happy to follow any instructions or routines you have for them. As I work from home when I’m on day shifts, I can also spend time working from your home while keeping your dog company throughout the day
About: I have loved animals my whole life and have grown up around pets, especially dogs. I have my own dog back home, so I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet. I’ve been caring for dogs for many years, helping friends, family, and neighbours with walking, feeding, bathing, and spending quality time with their dogs. A little about me, I was very lucky to have Fostered 8-10 rescues from Europe in my home as a volunteer for a new leash for life charity (Hampshire based dog charity) in 2023. And rescued one of those of my own who is now a lover. Dog grooming assistant qualified, at Chichester college. I handled dog breeds or all shapes and sizes. And can bath, groom and trim nails. 2 months volunteering in Thailand in a dog sanctuary back in 2020. When I assisted with the running of the dog rescue centre.
