About: We have a little Westiepoo called Buddy who is almost 11. We have a 5 year old and a 11 year old who both love dogs. We have a large house with a big garden for your dogs to run around in. We have lovely walks around the area. I can guarantee your dogs will be in safe hands with us and have a fun time. *Please note that anywhere within this profile that I have mentioned "we", I am referring to myself and my partner Kelly. I can confirm that the children would not be unsupervised with your Dog at any time. Thanks Lee...... I work remotely from home so I am always here and I do not work on Weekends. Our Children love dogs and we have a fun home environment. We will walk your pets and feed them in the same routine that they are normally used to. They will be played with and have lots of love and attention, during the stay.

Jayne was fantastic - our first trip away leaving the cats since moving to IOW, but they were really happy and Jayne kept us up to date with photos - highly recommended.

About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life, studied animal science at college and am now studying marine biology at university. I trained my dog from a puppy (who i miss very much at uni!) so understand behaviour, and have experience working within multiple veterinary practices as a voluntary patient care assistant. I have also been entrusted to take care of multiple neighbours dogs, house-sitting and walks, including giving insulin injections. I’m currently on my summer break from university so have lots of availability alongside my summer lifeguarding job, and I enjoy early mornings so am happy to provide early walks! I am currently unable to offer services within my home but am happy to come to you! I understand that every dog has different needs and I will go above and beyond to ensure they are comfortable.

About: I have a diploma in canine communication, first aid, pet sitting and dog walking. I’ve worked in a pet shop, which also helped gain experience and knowledge about cats and dogs. I’ve owned my dog since I moved out eight years ago. I’ve got experience with all types of animals from owning horses, down to rats, snakes, mice and fish. I’m currently just starting this venture, so I have full flexibility. Please get in contact with me to discuss times and days you need help with. Caring for pets in your home, will involve sticking to the routing you and your dog already have in place .. this makes it familiar to your furry family member. Whether that’s hourly toilet breaks or two hourly or a time they like a cuddle.

I've been caring-for and walking dogs for a number of years. I'm currently studying, but am flexible with regards to times and availability - so I can accommodate your needs and work around what you want I care for pets in the owner's home only at present, but can supply treats, toys and other things to keep your dog occupied and happy whilst you're not there

I believe my dog had a lovely time with Mackenzie. She has a mature and responsible attitude and sent me pics. She is a good communicator and always kept me in the picture about her visits and timing. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because the agreed visit times slipped a bit on the day. There was no detriment to my dog and I would definitely book Mackenzie again.

About: I’m a huge animal lover who grew up with my three beautiful Jack Russells — Pepper, Rio, and Lola who completely stole my heart. Caring for them taught me so much about the unique personalities and needs of dogs, especially the importance of patience, play, and affection. Whether it’s energetic playtime, relaxed cuddles, or just keeping your pup safe and happy while you’re away, I’m here to provide the same level of love and care I’d give my own pets. I know how much peace of mind it brings to leave your dog with someone who genuinely cares — and that’s exactly what I offer. Looking forward to meeting your furry friend! I currently work part time in the mornings. So I have plenty of time to care and play with your beautiful dogs and have fun! I will always make sure when I am sitting in your home, that I follow your routine to keep your pets as happy and their routine as normal as possible

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Isle of Wight pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Isle of Wight choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
