“I found Alicia on Rover.com and didn't know either her or the app. We easily arranged a time for Alicia to the come to my house to meet her client, namely Katyusha, a near 4 year old quite skittish cat, who was hiding behind the settee when Alicia arrived. Almost immediately Katyusha left her hiding place, and seemed totally at ease with Alicia. We ran through feeding, litter tray and other aspects of Katyusha's care, as well as Katyusha's likely hiding places that Alicia might have needed to look for her in, upon visiting. We arranged 2 visits for a day I needed to be away, and Alicia's photographs and their timings clearly demonstrated, Katyusha took an instant liking to Alicia, enjoying snuggling up and cuddles. Our interaction, plus the "cards" that were created for each visit on the rover.com platform, were all very re-assuring. Alicia seems extremely competent, caring and considerate to both the pet and the owner's concerns. I have no hesitation in recommending her, and she will be looking after Katyusha again in a few days time. As far as Rover.com is concerned, rates for the sitters and the platform's charges all seem very clear, payment was easy to make, and the email and text messages that confirm visit start times, finish times etc are very efficient. I would be happy to try them to fund a cat sitter back in London”

About: I am a part-time dog mum to many woofers! I have long standing experience with dog sitting / animal care over the years where I have been incredibly lucky to care for such a variety of breeds both pups and adults dogs who have had such unique personalities. I love taking dogs on long walks along the beach / in the woods and sharing lots of cuddles. My services: Doggie day care, house sitting inc boarding and walking. I am able to provide a drop off and collect service with an additional charge. There is an additional charge for puppies under 1. House Sitting: Based on a 1 night period. About: I have been taking care of a wide variety of animals for about 3 years and started keeping animals as a child. I have a background of volunteering with the RSPCA, as well as local pet stores, a kennel and have previous experience working in a veterinary practice. I am passionate about caring for animals and your pets will be cared for as if they were my own! I currently have a rescue Staffordshire bull terrier and I’m experienced in dog reactivity and strong breeds because of this! Please let me know if there are any concerns with your pet and I’m sure we can come up with a good plan!! I currently have full availability and flexibility for pet care. Your home will need to be easily accessible by bus as I don’t drive but I’m happy to come up with a plan that suits you! I will care for you pets as if they were my own. I will stick to whatever schedule or plan you have set out for your animals and I will ensure they are happy with me and trust me fully.

Freya was understanding of my dogs needs and able to follow the guidence given for her care. I can trust Freya 100% to care for and provide a safe and suitable environment for my Dog Juno. Juno was never left alone, kept engaged and had her exercise and mental stimulation needs well cared for. I have often come to pick up Juno to find her cuddled on the sofa asleep (not something she will do with just anyone). About: For 5 incredible years during my university journey, I had the absolute joy of caring for my dear friend's adorable Biewer Terrier, just like the one in the photo. From playful walks in the park to cozy cuddle sessions, every moment was filled with love and laughter. I work at the hospital till 4/5pm, able to do evening walks and weekends anytime is possible for me to do. I am able to drive to you as I have a car and driving lisence. Every morning and afternoon, Misha and I went for walks, even before and after my uni classes. She learned to walk without a leash beside me and mastered sitting. I started training her when she was just 2 months old. I also taught her where to go to the toilet. For her meals, I fed her a mix of dog food, boiled rice, and veggies based on advice from the vet.

About: I have two fourteen year old dogs who no longer enjoy walks. I have fostered dogs of all breeds and look forward to meeting you. I am self employed and currently work flexible hours. I can care for dogs in the Ryde area, hours to suit you and your dogs. I have a medium sized, enclosed garden and regularly walk dogs along the seafront in Ryde which is 200 metres away. I have two elderly dogs.
