About: Hello! My name is Addie. I am a previous owner of a highly rated pet service business, now looking for some additional work on the side, in a field I enjoy. I am canine first aid trained, and understand the everyday needs for all types of animals. Thank you I have plenty of time for caring for pets between Monday - Fridays. Even when my schedule isn’t set in stone I can cater before and after work, and even some weekends. I always ensure an owners house is left in the exact way it was when I arrived. My best efforts go into keeping my work tidy and organised. When pets are in my own home, I always ensure everything is suitable and safe for them. My home is tidy and maintained and perfect for your loved pet.
“Anna saved our bacon at short notice, and, lucky for us, is a great sitter! She came in reliably twice a day, sent super cute updates (whilst checking that I didn't want left alone!), and spent proper time bonding with Maggie. Maggie has been stressed in the past when we've left her, but was grand this time round. We'll definitely use Anna again 😺”

“Tamsin has been wonderful with Pitchu. She even managed to get my old girl eat out a few treat off her hand and she let her stroke her, which is amazing as she is super shy. Tamsin follows all the instructions you leave her and is super easy going. I would recommend Tamsin anytime and will certainly rebook her. Thanks Tamsin, you’ve been great 😊”

“Amazing and professional and friendly experience supporting my five month old cockapoo Lola whilst I was at work. Forever grateful. To come back and see how relaxed Lola was made it such a positive experience. Would highly recommend Megan. Thank you so much my fiancé and I and especially Lola appreciate it so much ❤️”

About: I’ve looked after dogs with all kinds of personalities! From playful pups who need guidance and training, to older dogs who just want a slower pace and lots of comfort. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to stick to your dog’s routine so they feel comfortable at home. What makes me different is how much I genuinely care! I don’t just “watch” dogs, I spend quality time with them, making sure they feel loved, relaxed, and completely comfortable. I make sure they are fed according to their usual routine, have plenty of fresh water, exercise and attention, and feel comfortable and settled in their environment. When caring for a pet in their owner’s home, I respect their space and routines and make sure the home is kept clean and secure. I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions or requirements the owner provides.

About: (Georgia) I have both had pet dogs, cats and many other animals my whole life. I have been very fortunate to experience long living dogs and cats (16+), therefore have experience with puppies / kittens and elderly animals. Not only was I involved with their pet care and giving them all my love, I also have experience dog sitting on Rover and for family friends, including puppies, adult dogs and cats. I would love to continue doing this and show the same care for your animals. (Thalia) I have dogs and have had many other animals previously! One of my dogs has had a spinal injury so I am experienced in giving medication and caring for specific needs. I have experience on Rover and am trusted to look after all family and friends’ dogs! We love going on walks, even better with a dog to come along! We can both be very flexible and are looking for day sits, and longer sits! At the moment, I am at University, finishing online. Therefore, I am free for day care and walks! I am hoping to have regular sits a couple days a week. I am available to board in the pets home! If at the pet owners home, instructions for the pets normal routine/boundaries would be useful to ensure little disruption and maintain full safety to you and your pet.

First time I have used Teresa and she was excellent, she took really good care of my cat Rosie, fed her, played with her and left a clean and tidy litter tray. Would highly recommend her. It is so reassuring when away that you can relax and know your pets are being well looked after

Bethany looked after our two cats whilst we were away. She spent time with our cats on each visit, giving them cuddles as well as feeding them/changing litter etc… Bethany also kept us updated with pics & messages, so we knew our furry friends were in great hands. We’re really happy and would 100% book Bethany again.

Tamsin has been wonderful with Pitchu. She even managed to get my old girl eat out a few treat off her hand and she let her stroke her, which is amazing as she is super shy. Tamsin follows all the instructions you leave her and is super easy going. I would recommend Tamsin anytime and will certainly rebook her. Thanks Tamsin, you’ve been great 😊

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Havant pet parents with similar pet households.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Havant choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
