I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including dogs, cats and small pets, and they’ve always been a huge source of joy for me. There’s something special about being around animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. I’ve looked after pets for friends, family and colleagues, including dogs, cats and rabbits. Whether it’s an energetic dog who needs a good walk, a nervous pet who needs patience, or a senior animal who needs a gentler approach, I adapt to each pet’s personality and needs. About: I have grown up around many animals all my life. I am very compassionate to care for them and to meet their needs. Since moving out of the family home, I have my own cat, Benji, who is very energetic, mischievous, I adore coming home to seeing him. During my time living in my family home, I had numerous cats and 1 dog, who was a puppy when we brought him, he is a dalmadoodle. I enjoyed training him with my parents. I am a swimming teacher working predominantly with babies and toddlers between the hours of 10-12 and 3:30-5, and have a lot of time during the day to play with your animals, give them walks and give them the best life. I will care for pets in their home by being there for them when they would like to play, go for a walk or go to the toilet and food times! I will care for them like they are my own pet.

“Was nervous leaving willow for the 1st time. We felt it better to keep in in his own familiar surroundings. We found Rover and contacted Natalie, who answered promptly and arranged to pop around to meet Willow. Natalie was punctual and I could tell instantly that she’d be great and Willow would be in safe hands. Natalie popped in 2x daily as agreed and I received daily updates. I could not have been happier with her. We had no WiFi signal and my messages to her were always undelivered. I didn’t panic (as would have been my usual behaviour in this instance) as I received and read daily updates (with photos) . Willow was completely at ease with Natalie and looked as though he didn’t miss us at all 🤷♀️ We had a 9 hour drive home from our holiday which incurred regular half hourly outbursts by me wondering if the cat was going to hate us for leaving him😵💫 We arrived home, I left my partner to unpack all the car and went straight indoors to see Willow, who was lounging, but got up to ask for dinner. It was as though we had never been away. I could not recommend her highly enough and 5* are not enough 🐈😊”
“Eirian was very friendly, professional and she listened to every instructions I gave her for my dog Pixel. He is reactive to the doorbell, can be agressive when I receive guests and she was great. We did some exercises with the doorbell, I invited her in the house a few times and Pixel’s reactivity really improved.”

About: I’ve been a dog lover since I knew what a dog was. I have always dreamed of having my own dog and since bringing home my own pup, I just want to spend time with dogs, be it walking, spending time with, or a bit of training. I am confident with all breeds, behaviours, and energy levels. I love them all I’m currently working full time from home but due to its flexibility (and a long chat with boss man), I am able to commit to dog walks and drop ins during the day. I am fully flexible at weekends I have a fenced garden with a young German shepherd pup. He is crate trained and has plenty of garden space to run around. We do a lot of enrichment and training throughout the day to work his brain, making walks a bonus to burn off a little energy

About: Hello, I’m Lisa and I’ve lived with and taken care of all manner of animals my whole life. I grew up on farms with chickens, dogs, cats, and cared for my own horses for years. I’ve grown up alongside my family dog Oscar, the tibetan terrier and his dearly missed brother Arlo, the cocker spaniel. Oscar has since gained a new baby brother in Bruno, the cockerpoo, who exists to be his karma for terrorising Arlo when he was younger. I have a lot of experience caring for both high and low energy dogs, and have also cared for cats - pet sitting for family friends when they’re away from home. We recently got two kittens, Marvin and Philip! However, we can quite easily keep them separate if your pet isn’t used to cats and would actually appreciate anyone with a dog that’s cat-friendly as I’d like to teach the boys to be as dog-confidence as possible! I work shifts at my work so my availability varies. Days off vary between weekends and weekdays, and I am either working day shifts or late shifts. I live in a 2-bedroom house with an enclosed garden, perfect for both dogs and cats. I am walking distance from several parks in the Chandler’s Ford area and have my own transportation so I am able to travel if required.

This was my first time using a cat sitter service. One of my cats is diabetic and so it’s always a concern with him needing insulin injections. Charlotte was brilliant with him, my other cat is not really a people cat, but he decided Charlotte was the exception to that and he became Mr friendly, happy to eat his food in front of her. They both greeted her every day like their long lost friend. She sent lots of videos and pictures which helped me be at ease and know they were ok. Highly recommend.
I had the best experience with Amber looking after my cat, Dorie, while my partner Ash and I were away in Croatia. From the start, everything was simple and easy. Communication was quick and clear, and the booking process was straightforward. Amber is very reasonably priced and was always responsive, which immediately gave us confidence we’d made the right choice. Before we even booked, Amber kindly came round to our house to meet us over a coffee and spend time with Dorie. That really stood out and made us feel completely at ease about leaving her in someone else’s care. While we were away, Amber kept us updated every day with messages, photos, and videos, as well as clear updates on when she visited and left. She also had no issue at all administering Dorie’s medication, which was a huge plus for us. The biggest test for us is always how Dorie behaves when we get home. Normally, when we’ve had friends or family look after her, she’s a bit moody or sassy when we return. This time was completely different — she was happy, relaxed, and playful straight away, which says everything about how well she was looked after. As a first-time Rover user, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend Amber without hesitation. She gave us real peace of mind while we were away, and we’ll absolutely be using Rover again — and Amber specifically if she’s available — for all future trips.
How lucky we feel, to go away and leave our cat with Natalie. She is amazing, gives daily updates and Willow looks so chilled with her. She even put our wheels bin out on collection day. I do not think I’d come away if we couldn’t leave Willow in her hands. 🐈 😻

Lauren has been absolutely lovely with Nico. This was the first time we’d ever left him, and as he has separation anxiety I was quite nervous - but she was amazing and put him at ease straight away. He felt relaxed and comfortable with her immediately, which meant so much to us. Pablo was a great sitter for my cats over the Christmas period. He arrived at the agreed times and gave my cats all the care and attention they need. I had updates each visit, including photos and videos of the cats playing and purring away. This is the first time I have used Rover and would definitely use the service again!
