I have lived with animals all my life, many of them rescues. I am currently studying a level 6 diploma in Canine behaviour which will give me a better understanding of dogs and their behaviour and needs. I lived in Japan and worked as a dog rescue volunteer there. I brought my own cat from Japan to the UK (on my lap in the cabin !) when I moved back to the UK. I will love your pet as if they were my own. I have experience working with many dog breeds and dogs with behavioral issues. I love being in the open air and long walks with dogs is one of my greatest pleasures I also have experience taking care of cats and understand their different needs and personalities. I am not able to board pets at my home but I am able to do house sits and pet care at the owners home. I will give your pet a safe and fun experience with me. My partner John also sometimes works with me when we do house sits. He used to work on a farm and has a natural affinity with animals. I am fully insured. I am now having to adjust the pricing depending on your location in order to cover the cost of petrol to travel to your home for meetings and pet sits. Also I will charge more if your dog has separation anxiety meaning that I have to be with the dog all the time. When I am available I can do pet sits at any time, dog walks or pet visits are also possible at any time of the day depending on other bookings. I am NOT able to do drop ins or walks further than five miles from my house as the travel time and petrol cost do not make it viable, I can do pet sits of two days or longer if they are further afield. As John is also sometimes available, we sometimes work together and sometimes do different bookings at the same time. At your home I will follow any instructions that you leave regarding the care of your pet, this also applies to walks, if you instruct me to keep your dog on lead , I will do so. In each case we usually meet before hand to discuss individual requirements and any special requests you may have.
