About: While I wasn’t lucky enough to grow up with my own dog, I have always been around family and friend’s dogs. On moving to London, I signed up to Borrow My Doggy and looked after multiple dogs - both just for walks and in owners’ houses. I was lucky to be down the road from a good friend for 3 years and regularly looked after their whippet (Goose) when they needed. I even had her for a sleepover when they welcomed their baby. I am confident and assertive around dogs and would just love to have them in my life a bit more while I’m still unable to get my own. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays and would love to have a pup to snooze by my feet for some of the day and get me out and about walking too. At weekends I am fairly social but love getting out for walks whether with friends or on my own. I have recently moved back to Portsmouth and into my first house. I have a small garden and would be happy to have dogs in my home.
About: I did dog walking for a few years during COVID, and am also currently studying veterinary medicine, where safe interaction with and management of animals is a large part of the course. I also have OSCEs (qualifications) in handling cats and dogs safely!! I'm currently a student, so I would have to work around my lectures. However some of my lectures are online, and it is almost the end of the academic year, so I will be able to have very flexible bookings! I have a cat at home, so I am well accustomed to their sometimes unpredictable nature. I'm also able to take dogs out on walks and safely put them in crates if needed.
About: I work as a veterinary assistant so I work with cats, dogs and small furries everyday with plenty of experience in handling and caring. I have done plenty of overnight stays for family members for dogs, and have always owned cats and dog growing up. I work full time Monday to Friday so my availability for walks and drops in is only on Saturdays and Sundays, however I am keen on overnight stays for holidays if the pet is okay to be left whilst I work. I do not offer services for pets at my house as I live in a house share and pets are not allowed. I am willing to stay at pet owners house.

She was super helpful and did everything we would normally do for them, from feeding and watering to cleaning their litter. She also sent us daily photos, which we never used to get from cat hotels. About: I’m currently training to become a Level 3 qualified Dog Groomer and have had dogs all my life, so I’m confident, calm and comfortable caring for a variety of breeds and temperaments. Qualified in Canine First Aid. I'm currently working part time so can be flexible and have plenty of time to care for your dogs, open to boarding and in-house sitting also, available on weekends also. I have a secure garden with no external access from street, crate available if/when needed. We have a two year old mixed breed dog who is very loving and friendly.
About: I have very recently lost my beautiful dog Rufus at the grand old age of 16 years and 9 months. From picking him up at 8 weeks to saying our last goodbye, I guided and supported him through puppy training and recognising his additional needs as he grew old. He brought me joy and unconditional love. He was family and loved more than words can say. As well as taking care of him, I have regularly looked after his best mates, Zampa and Sunny and our Grand dogs Woody and Riri. My love for all animals, particularly dogs, defines me as a person. I can't face getting another dog of my own for the foreseeable but the aching emptiness in my heart I feel could be eased by taking care of and loving other fur babies. I currently work just week day mornings between 07.30-10.30 and should this prove successful, I will give up my job and devote to pet care full time. About: I've been surrounded by animals my entire life and have experience caring for a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and birds. This is pretty incredible because Freya only ever leaves the wardrobe for us! We get lovely updates and we can actually relax whilst away because we know the girls are in the best of hands :)
100% Positive,couldn’t be happier with our experience,my cat Tizzie was in very capable hands ,she did everything we asked , played with her fed her and used her brushes which my cat loves ,sat with her in the garden ,cleaned the dreaded litter box ! and sent updates ,one of which Tizzie had a minor eye problem which Megan sorted with some salt water and bathing which cured the problem before it being a larger thing to deal with whilst I was away on hols , would certainly recommend her and for sure have her back if she’s available x many thanks xx
Anisha came and took our puppy for a walk and it was clear both she and Alba had a great time. Anisha put in so much effort, keeping up with training, feeding her and making sure she had a drink when she got back. Her communication before, during and after the visit was excellent and it was lovely to receive lots of pictures of Alba whilst they were out too. We would recommend Anisha to any pet owner.
Lucy did great with caring for Cookie and Peanut whilst we were away on holiday. We have a slightly odd routine with feeding the cats, as Cookie will eat both meals if left unattended. Lucy made sure that Peanut got her share and that we came home to a fresh home with unsoiled litter trays.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm.
