I have several years of experience taking care of pets with a wide range of personalities, ages, routines and needs. I have a genuine interest in every pet and will take the time to get to know them and fulfil every requirement needed to keep them as happy as can be. I am a cat person and have had cats since birth, I have cared for friends’ and family’s dogs for many years too but since joining rover a few months ago my love for dogs is ever growing! No request is too much; I will always go above and beyond for each animal I care for and to make sure they feel comfortable by the end of visits. Leaving a pet with someone else can be nerve wracking, especially for the first time so I make communication a priority. I always provide regular updates and may slightly spam your phone with photos as there’s nothing better than knowing your pets are happy and being well cared for.

I always focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I follow each pet owner’s instructions closely, including feeding routines, exercise needs, medication schedules, and any special requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, supervision, and affection while keeping their usual routine as consistent as possible. In both my home and a pet owner’s home, I keep the environment clean, secure, and pet-friendly so they can feel relaxed and cared for while their owner is away.

Aimee has been a wonderful catsitter for our girls! She was very communicative, keeping us updated regularly, followed all our instructions carefully, and took the time to cuddle and play with them rather than simply meeting their basic needs. She was very patient, attentive and calm, and adapted to each cat’s personality. One of our girls is particularly shy and needs a lot of reassurance, so seeing her become comfortable enough to cuddle and stay close to Aimee made us very happy and reassured while we were away. You can really tell that Aimee genuinely cares about animals and has a lovely, calming presence around them. We couldn’t recommend her more! And as a bonus, she also takes the cutest pictures and videos of your pets! 😊

My schedule is flexible, which allows me to make pet care a natural part of my daily routine. I plan my days around making sure pets get the attention, exercise, playtime, and care they need. Whether that’s walks, feeding schedules, cuddle time, or keeping routines consistent, I’m able to provide reliable care and make pets feel comfortable and well looked after.

- Please let me know if your pet has any special requirements or if there’s anything I should look out for during my time with them. I understand that being away from their owner and having a new person around can sometimes make pets feel nervous, so I want to provide the best care possible and help them feel as relaxed and loved as they do at home.
