Short Stay Pet Care
Animals have always been a central part of my life. My first rescue, Sassy, joined our family just before my eldest son was born and truly was my “first born”. Later came Ruby, a beautiful Lab Collie cross and another rescue, who was my constant shadow until she passed in 2023. Our two cats, Velvet and Tiger Lily, were with us for 19 and 21 wonderful years. Since my three children have now flown the nest, I have both the time and flexibility to dedicate to caring for other people’s beloved pets. Alongside caring for my own animals over many years, I have extensive experience looking after pets for friends and family, as well as through other booking platforms. Recent stays have included Ludo, a gorgeous Wheaten Terrier, Murphy and Bo in New South Wales, Wallace and Moo in Queensland, and the cutest Cavoodle puppy, Roxy. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routines and quirks. Some need long walks and play, others need calm reassurance and quiet companionship. Having had animals with very different temperaments myself, I am sensitive to each pet’s individual needs and committed to making them feel safe, secure and loved while you are away. I also know how important it is for you to feel relaxed while you are apart from your pet. I am always happy to keep in touch with regular updates, messages and photos, so you can see how they are getting on and have complete peace of mind throughout your time away.

Safety, trust & environment
When caring for pets in their own home, my priority is for them to feel safe, settled and loved while you are away. I will follow their usual routines for walks, feeding, rest and play, and take time to understand their individual personality and needs. I treat every home with the utmost respect, keeping it secure and tidy throughout the stay. You will receive regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

We 100% recommend Ingrid! She was very patient with our dog on our first meeting. Available on a very short notice, as our regular pet sitter had cancelled on us the day before due to sickness, which we appreciate Ingrid so much for that! We were provide with updates throughout the day, which made us feel at ease as well! Cannot recommend enough!
Wow she is so good my cat isnt that friendly well only likes me she sat and stroke my cat which is amazing she came short notice no problems at all will be our new cat nanny
Ingrid is an absolute delight to have stay at our home and look after our two boys! So much so they almost seemed disappointed when we returned and not Ingrid! 🤣 I did tell them not to worry though because we will definitely ask if she would like to come and stay again. Couldn’t recommend her enough 🙌
Ingrid came to look after Finn our dog and Seb our cat for the day. Before the planned date, Ingrid came to meet us both with Finn and Seb. Straight away I felt confident with Ingrid coming to our home and looking after our pets. On the day, Ingrid arrived on time and shortly after arriving Ingrid was out in the garden playing ball with Finn. During the course of the day, Ingrid sent updates with photos and videos letting us know how the day was going! When we arrived home both pets were happy and contented and everything was great. I wouldn’t hesitate to book ingrid again to look after Finn and Seb!
We would 100% recommend Ingrid and we would let our Gary stay again. Ingrid is very friendly and welcoming, this being our first time, we were very quickly put as ease with Ingrid. We got updates, photos and a video.

Schedule
As I am self employed and work remotely, I have a flexible schedule and can plan my days around the pets I am caring for. This means I can be present for much of the day during house sits and give them plenty of attention and companionship. For drop in visits, I organise my diary so that each visit has dedicated time and is never rushed. I am always happy to follow your pet’s usual routine to keep things familiar and comfortable while you are away.

- It is really helpful to know about your pet’s usual routine, any medical needs, dietary requirements, behavioural quirks or things that may cause anxiety. The more I understand in advance, the better I can ensure everything runs smoothly and comfortably for them. Whenever possible, I am very happy to arrange a meet and greet before the booking, so we can go through everything in person and your pet can become familiar with me beforehand.
