“We arrived home to a pair of very relaxed and happy dogs! Much better than when they’ve stayed in kennels in the past. Harriet communicated everything really clearly and kept us up to date throughout.”

About: Hi, I’m Joel. I’m a Teaching Assistant in a Special Educational Needs (SEN) setting, regularly involved in outdoor activities and Forest School sessions. This means I’m at my happiest outdoors, rain or shine, and I’m used to managing a variety of unique needs with patience and a calm, positive approach. Working in an SEN environment has taught me how to read body language and learn to provide care for each individual’s needs - skills that translate perfectly to dealing with our furry friends! Whether your dog is a zoomy explorer who loves adventure or a more nervous personality who needs a gentle, patient companion, I can adapt my walking style to suit them. Why choose me? * DBS-Checked: I hold a current Enhanced DBS through my school role. * Genuine Love For The Outdoors: Spending most of my work and free time outside, all year long. * SEN Expertise: I’m highly patient and experienced with 'big' personalities and complex needs. * Reliable & Responsible: I’m used to following strict safety protocols and routines. * Experience with reactive/nervous dogs: Growing up at home with rescue dogs with challenging behaviours, learning to nurture and understand dogs both confident and nervous. Reach out with any queries you might have and I’ll respond as soon as I am able. Initial meet and greets with dogs are completely free as I’ll be eager to get to know the dogs before we set off on our first walk together! I work school hours during the week, which means I am free from 3:30pm weekdays. On weekends I can be available and flexible with hours, also being able to offer full time availability during school holidays. I can’t wait to meet your four-legged friends and share some fun fuelled walks! I can commit my full focus and attention towards your four legged loved ones, as I get as much joy being around them as they hopefully will around me! I have a very calm demeanour which I like to think helps the people and dogs around me feel the same way too.
“Violet was superb at initial meet and greet with Leia (very nervous rescue dog) and knew exactly how to interact etc. Leia has also very clearly enjoyed this weeks hour long visit and playtime tool !! As she was far too tired to get out of bed to meet us when we returned. Thank you Violet. ?”

About: Not only have I taken care of my own pets since I was a child, for over the past year I have dog sat for many friends and family. I am currently a final year student at Southampton university studying philosophy. This means I have a lot of spare time, and I what’s better than spending that time taking care of animals? To look after dogs, I had a gated garden and a gate at the bottom of the stairs. My rabbits had a large enclosure, the same with my chickens.

About: For the past 10 years I’ve enjoyed walking/bathing/playing with/sitting my friends’s and family member’s dogs alongside my own. I am happy to accommodate to the owner’s needs for their dog and enjoy working with a range of different dog breeds :) I’m happy to be flexible surrounding you and your dog - I am free weekday mornings/afternoons and all day Friday-Sunday. Let me know the timings you need and I will try my best to accommodate! My garden is fenced and spacious allowing your dog to play freely. I pay close attention to your dog ensuring the safety and comfort of your pets.

About: Hi, I’m Faith, the face behind Paws That Roam ….and this is my gorgeous rescue German Shorthaired Pointer Ozzie. Full of GSP energy and a heart of gold. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve had the joy of rescuing several dogs of my own and growing up surrounded by sighthounds and terriers. I know how hard it can be leaving your dog during a busy day and wondering if they’re getting the care, attention, and stimulation they really need. That’s exactly why I created Paws That Roam. I wanted to create a service that owners could truly trust. One where your dog is cared for as if they were my own, and where you can head into your day knowing they’re safe, happy, and in experienced hands. We provide personalised and enrichment-focused dog walking tailored to each dog’s energy, age, temperament and comfort level. We offer: * Small group walks * Solo 1–1 walks * Multi-dog household walks * Sniff and Stretch home visits For me, this isn’t just a job, it’s a business built around care, trust, and a genuine love for dogs. I am a full-time dog walker and dog carer with my own secure crated vehicle. My day starts off with my own GSPs and then I offer tailored small group and solo walks as well as sniff and stretch home visits from 9am onwards. I believe trusting someone with your dog should never feel like a compromise. For many dog owners, busy work schedules and modern life often come with a quiet concern, knowing your dog is safe, settled, and well cared for when you can’t be there. Paws That Roam was created to remove that worry and replace it with complete peace of mind. *Fully insured *DBS checked *Canine first aid trained *and we only transport dogs in fully crated secure vehicles Paws That Roam exists so you can get on with your day, knowing your dog is exactly where they should be safe, understood, and free to walk, run, explore.
About: I’ve had my own dog for 4 years. I’ve looked after both dogs and cats for neighbours for years and they were all different sizes and breeds. I also have experience with rover from over in the USA this year! I am currently home for the summer and don’t have a job so I have lots of availability across the whole week and throughout the whole day. I have a large garden and it is completely fenced off so it would be safe for your dog(s). I also have my own dog who is 4 years old and is super friendly
About: Fun, trustworthy sitter, rescue volunteer, great with anxious pets, puppies and seniors, used to working in homes around animals, creating relaxed, happy, and safe memorable moments As a self employed business owner, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritise pet care throughout my day and week. Animals are naturally part of my routine, whether volunteering with rescue dogs or simply spending time visiting local wildlife. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so providing care never feels like a task, but a natural and rewarding part of my everyday life I understand how important trust is, having relied on sitters for my own cat who needed gentle, low-stress care. This is the standard of care I provide helping your pet feel right at home while following their usual routine to keep them settled and happy. I treat every animal with patience and genuine care, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable. As I don’t currently have pets, your pet has my full attention, and I’m always happy to send regular updates for complete peace of mind
“Lily came to visit Leo and Mikey and give them their lunch whilst we were away on holiday and our daughter was at work. She was totally reliable, coming when she was expected and gave us great feedback from her time with the dogs. It was clear from the images that she sent us that they were really happy to see her.”

Your dog will have lots of attention and love from my teenage daughters and myself as well as walks on the South Downs and nearby parks. I have an enclosed back garden and lovely walks on my doorstep.

About: Hi, I'm Natalie! I've always loved animals and have had my own cats and dogs throughout my whole life. I don't think I've ever not had a pet at any point in time. I love cats and dogs both equally but currently have two Cockapoos, Fred is 10 years old and Ollie has just turned 1 so I have experience looking after senior dogs and puppies (at the same time) 😂 I've always looked after my friends and families pets when they've been away so have plenty of experience caring for animals. Really looking forward to looking after your furry friends and caring for them as if they were my own! 🩷 I'm self-employed and work from home so I'm totally flexible with availability. I can look after your pets any time of day or evening, whenever you need. I am happy to look after your pet in your own home so that they're happy and comfortable in their own environment. I can do walk-ins to check on your pets and feed them or walk them, or just to keep them company and give them lots of cuddles while you're away.
About: I have lived most of my life with one or more dogs at home and my family currently has four of them. For me, home is where the dog is. During university, my flatmate and I fostered 9 different dogs spread out over 2 years. The dogs were awaiting their flights to their forever homes, travelling from Cyprus to the UK. The periods of fostering ranged from 2 weeks to 3 months. This has taught me to take care of anxious dogs who had never had homes before or had been poorly treated by their owners. I also regularly dog sit my friend's 2 year old female labrador, as well as my family dogs. Unfortunately the place I rent doesn’t allow pets and so am restricted to drop in visits, house sitting and doggy walks. As I am a junior doctor, my availability will be very dependent on my rota schedule, however I am happy to discuss and work around it whenever possible. Many walks throughout the day, some exercise in the park and even some training if asked. Thanks to my childhood and the fostering experience I have carried out during university, I am able to easily adapt to different characters and breeds easily as well as adapting to your dog's specific needs.

Trinity is an absolute star ⭐️ First time using Rover and she was very helpful and very quick at responding. Trinity came over to meet Bonnie and Bonnie loved her. Trinity comes over to let Bonnie out for a wee and she plays with Bonnie in the garden and gives Bonnie lots of cuddles. Trinity is 100% trustworthy and super flexible, which is really helpful for my job working in a hospital and always leaves the house tidy. I would HIGHLY recommend trinity, and will definitely use her again if needed.
