About: Sadly, we have recently said goodbye to our boy Ralph after 18 years of Jack Russell mischief. Kennels were never for us, and we always found it difficult to find dog care for holidays and short trips. So hopefully we can offer a temporary home from home for some furry friends. My wife and I had Ralph from a puppy so have experience of handling a boisterous young Jack Russell right the way through to his twilight years where his bed and sleep where his favourite activity! Previously to Ralph our family dogs were Labradors and Retrievers so have experience with larger breeds also. We do have two children of 11 & 16; both are comfortable around dogs and will be on hand for playtime! I work from home 4 days per week and on the day I do go into the office there is only a gap of 4 hours between when I leave for work and my wife arriving home. We live in a detached house in a village not too far from both Chichester and Bognor Regis. We have large enclosed rear garden where in the summer months the back door remains open so any doggie visitors can come in and out as they please. We are also surrounded by fields so can offer regular walks.

About: Belly rubs on demand I have had dogs since my children were little. I am now retired so home everyday to give lots of care to your best friend. I now have all the time in the world, as I have left the 9-5 and at home with my 2 cavapoos. We have lots of love to go around. Wonderful fields just outside our front door and just a short drive to the beach. I have a large secure garden and 2 cavapoos to entertain your pooch. We love dogs and would love to meet your little one to come and share days and nights with us.

“Having found Sarah on Dog buddy we had a trial night sleepover and this went very well. It’s always daunting leaving your fur baby with strangers but Sarah was amazing and very welcoming and i was kept updated with lovely picture posts on the whole stay. “I found Jenny quite last minute but I am so glad I did ! Luna came to meet her a few days before being with her for a full day and she settled immediately. Jenny has a great home, lots of space with a lovely closed garden plus she’s right near the seafront and lots of wonderful places for walks. Luna settled there immediately, she loved her day with Jenny and her family as well as another two dogs she was sitting, they got on wonderfully and she kept me updated throughout the day with lots of pictures ! honestly it has been such a relief to find someone like Jenny to be able to look after Luna, I will definitely be using her again x”

About: I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and neighbours, and willing to expand this for others. There’s a 3 year old friendly German Shorthaired Pointer in the house, and two more friendly pointers next door. I’m a teacher so available in the evenings and during the weekends during term time, and available during school holidays. Able to help whenever necessary. Alfie is very well loved and spoilt for walks on a daily basis. He loves time on the beach, around the local countryside and we explore new areas when we go to the Lake District together.

About: I’ve had pets of my own all my life. I’ve looked after family and friends cats and dogs for 17 years now and had my own dogs for that time period also. I have an enhanced DBS. I’ve had experience caring for very sick animals too. Pets are our family and will be treated as such. I currently work some days as supply staff with children at preschool/school during term time, but have looked after animals overnight whilst working and can do weekend sitting during daytime and overnight. I’d prefer to do sitting at your home as my garden is under renovation currently so although fences are secure there are obstacles that some pets wouldn’t be able to deal with. I will keep your pet safe in your home and on walks.

I have 3 cats but they won’t pay any attention. All pets will be in my room over night either locked up or having cuddles!
