About: Sadly, we have recently said goodbye to our boy Ralph after 18 years of Jack Russell mischief. Kennels were never for us, and we always found it difficult to find dog care for holidays and short trips. So hopefully we can offer a temporary home from home for some furry friends. My wife and I had Ralph from a puppy so have experience of handling a boisterous young Jack Russell right the way through to his twilight years where his bed and sleep where his favourite activity! Previously to Ralph our family dogs were Labradors and Retrievers so have experience with larger breeds also. We do have two children of 11 & 16; both are comfortable around dogs and will be on hand for playtime! I work from home 4 days per week and on the day I do go into the office there is only a gap of 4 hours between when I leave for work and my wife arriving home. We live in a detached house in a village not too far from both Chichester and Bognor Regis. We have large enclosed rear garden where in the summer months the back door remains open so any doggie visitors can come in and out as they please. We are also surrounded by fields so can offer regular walks.
About: Belly rubs on demand I have had dogs since my children were little. I am now retired so home everyday to give lots of care to your best friend. I now have all the time in the world, as I have left the 9-5 and at home with my 2 cavapoos. We have lots of love to go around. Wonderful fields just outside our front door and just a short drive to the beach. I have a large secure garden and 2 cavapoos to entertain your pooch. We love dogs and would love to meet your little one to come and share days and nights with us.

“Having found Sarah on Dog buddy we had a trial night sleepover and this went very well. It’s always daunting leaving your fur baby with strangers but Sarah was amazing and very welcoming and i was kept updated with lovely picture posts on the whole stay. All of our dogs needs were taken care of and I have one happy hound returning home, he had a wonderful stay. Thanks to Sarah x”

“I found Jenny quite last minute but I am so glad I did ! Luna came to meet her a few days before being with her for a full day and she settled immediately. Jenny has a great home, lots of space with a lovely closed garden plus she’s right near the seafront and lots of wonderful places for walks. Luna settled there immediately, she loved her day with Jenny and her family as well as another two dogs she was sitting, they got on wonderfully and she kept me updated throughout the day with lots of pictures ! honestly it has been such a relief to find someone like Jenny to be able to look after Luna, I will definitely be using her again x”

“We had our first visit with Elizabeth this past weekend. Elizabeth was very accommodating with our last minute scheduling needs. She was friendly and welcoming. I felt 100% comfortable leaving our dog with her. She kept us updated throughout our journey, and we came back to a very happy dog. I highly recommend Liz and will be using her services again!”

“We’re really happy with the care our dog received! Not only was he well looked after, but his medication was also given on schedule, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. We could truly relax knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 10 – from energetic puppies to calm seniors. Neighbours, friends, and family have always relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and look after their pets when they’re away, and I’ve loved every minute of it! What sets me apart is my small-scale approach: I only ever take one (or max two friendly) dog at a time, so your pup gets my full attention, plenty of play in a secure garden, cosy home comforts, regular walks, and lots of cuddles. I’ll send daily photos and updates to keep you smiling while you’re away. I’m patient, responsible and treat every dog like my own. Let’s do a free meet-and-greet so we all feel comfy – I can’t wait to meet your four-legged friend! 🐶 I’m working part-time from home, so I’m available all day on weekdays (from the morning onward) and fully flexible on weekends for boarding, day care, walks, and playtime. This means I can give your pup constant attention, regular outings, and plenty of cuddles without any rush – perfect for relaxed, personalised care. Whether it’s an early drop-off or a full day at home, I’m here and ready! Just let me know what works best for you and your dog 🐶 care for dogs in my cosy, secure home in Emsworth – a quiet, fenced garden for safe play and exercise, plus comfy indoor spaces with beds, toys, and plenty of room to relax. I keep numbers small (usually one dog at a time, max two friendly ones) so everyone gets individual attention and no overcrowding. Safety is top priority: fully vaccinated dogs only, secure gates/doors, no toxic plants/foods around, and I supervise closely (especially with my work-from-home setup). I do free meet-and-greets first to check compatibility, ask about routines/behaviors, and build trust. Daily photo updates keep owners in the loop – your pup will feel right at home! 😊
“Although our mini poodle Teddy and Gemma's dog did not get on too well (unusually for both dogs I think), she was very caring towards Teddy and communicated/updated us on how he was getting on. If it wasn't for the issue we had between the dogs, we would have no hesitation leaving Teddy with Gemma again. Thanks!”

“My Cockapoo Ted stayed with Lisa for the weekend. It’s clear he was treated like part of the family. The kindness and professionalism shown gave me complete peace of mind throughout. I would recommend Lisa without hesitation — 100%! He’s already booked for his next stay.”

“Tina was fantastic with my dogs. They were with her for a week and all the photos she sent (and she sent many) showed two happy, content dogs. They were clearly well cared for and regularly exercised, even enjoying cuddles on the settee with Tina and her husband. Tina is highly recommended and well worth the cost for real peace of mind.”

About: I’ve looked after many dogs for friends and neighbours, and willing to expand this for others. There’s a 3 year old friendly German Shorthaired Pointer in the house, and two more friendly pointers next door. I’m a teacher so available in the evenings and during the weekends during term time, and available during school holidays. Able to help whenever necessary. Alfie is very well loved and spoilt for walks on a daily basis. He loves time on the beach, around the local countryside and we explore new areas when we go to the Lake District together.
About: I’ve had pets of my own all my life. I’ve looked after family and friends cats and dogs for 17 years now and had my own dogs for that time period also. I have an enhanced DBS. I’ve had experience caring for very sick animals too. Pets are our family and will be treated as such. I currently work some days as supply staff with children at preschool/school during term time, but have looked after animals overnight whilst working and can do weekend sitting during daytime and overnight. I’d prefer to do sitting at your home as my garden is under renovation currently so although fences are secure there are obstacles that some pets wouldn’t be able to deal with. I will keep your pet safe in your home and on walks.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life—from energetic puppies to senior dogs needing end-of-life care. I’ve raised and cared for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including my own Cane Corso, who I’ve trained and loved for the past two years. My experience includes working with large breeds, reactive dogs, high-energy pups, and small dogs alike. I understand that every dog is different and take the time to meet their individual needs with patience, confidence, and care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priority. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a self-employed caregiver, I have the flexibility to give animals the consistent attention and care they need. I currently look after one dog and a young boy with a disability, both just 10 minutes from my home. This allows me to stay local, maintain a steady routine, and respond quickly to any pet care needs. My schedule is built around providing reliable, loving care—whether it’s walks, feedings, playtime, or just being a calming presence. My garden is fenced to let your dog have a run around! I have 3 cats but they won’t pay any attention. All pets will be in my room over night either locked up or having cuddles!
