She can be a bit funny with men but also instantly liked Alisha’s husband, Dan. Really appreciated Alisha doing a meet and greet and having Luna for a free daycare to ensure Luna was comfortable. About: Aswell as having my own dog and growing up with dogs, I have assisted my mum with her pet care services business in 2017, looking after customers best friends if she wasn’t able too. I’ve also helped on dog walks and pop ins for dogs and cats. I work from home 99% of the time and for that 1%, I get plenty of notice if I’m needed elsewhere. With my own woof Lily, we go out for a walk in the morning before I log on, out at lunchtime and then the evening again depending on our plans! I have a suitable garden size for toilet breaks and ball play. I also work full time hours over 4 days so off work Friday to Sunday. I have a fenced and gated garden, we have room for a crate of needed and will have a stair gate to separate access between upstairs and downstairs. We also have a spare bedroom which let’s be honest, is Lily room!

We each currently have our own dogs—a small Cavapoo and a Shih Tzu—so we truly understand how much pets mean as part of the family. Between us, we have many years of experience with dogs, cats and small animals, including rabbits. We understand that every pet is different, and we always take the time to get to know their individual routines, personalities and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for. I work on a freelance basis so have a flexible schedule which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Working alongside me is my friend Teresa who works within a school, who has regular free time in the school holidays, weekends and after school, meaning between us we can offer consistent, reliable care and ensure your pets are not left without company. During the daytime, we are also able to care for dogs in our own homes, both providing clean, safe and relaxed environments. We each have fully enclosed gardens with plenty of space for dogs to run around, explore and enjoy being outside safely. We both grew up with dogs and cats and have continued caring for family pets over the years, as well as providing feeding visits and check-ins for others’. 🐾 We have experience with dogs and cats at all life stages, from playful puppies/kittens through to seniors, and understand the different levels of care, patience and reassurance they may need. One of our own cats was an indoor Bengal with additional needs, so we are confident administering medication and providing gentle, attentive and patient care, always tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, happiness and wellbeing are always our priority. We aim to provide a calm, reassuring presence so they feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away. We also offer reliable local walks and drop-in visits in the Horsham area, ideal for busy owners, workdays or holidays. We also have very close links to a vet surgery in the area and are able to help with transportation to Vets visits if needed. Having said that we never have more than 3 or 4 dogs at any one time to ensure we can give them the attention they deserve. When caring for pets, whether in our home or the owner’s home, we always aim to keep things as calm, familiar and consistent as possible. We take the time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any specific needs, so they feel comfortable and settled. In the owner’s home, we respect their space and follow their pet’s normal routine closely, providing companionship, care and plenty of reassurance while they’re away. In our own homes, we offer a clean, safe and relaxed environment with fully enclosed gardens for secure outdoor time. We only take on a small number of pets so we can give them plenty of attention, care and supervision, making sure they feel at ease and well looked after. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog growing up from when I was 10 years old! I absolutely love dogs and the joy they bring to life. I’ve always looked after my own dog and would take her for walks, feed, play with and bathe her. As an adult my partner and I brought home a Cavapoo puppy Bella in October of 2022 so have experience with a high energy puppy as well. We take her for walks every day and she is well cared for in our home and would love to do the same for your dog! I am currently working full-time but my job is work from home so I am always home during the day so I am available during the day and on the weekends both my partner and I are home and able to dog sit! I live in a ground floor flat which has an enclosed balcony and we have a 1.5 year old Cavapoo to keep your fur baby company! We live right by a park and open field so have plenty of space to get outside and go for walks as well! We do have a spare room so do have the space to keep the dogs separated if need be as well.

“I’m almost hesitant to share this out of fear they will get too busy for my dog in the future, but Fernanda and her husband are my dog heros! They took a chance on my rescue jack russell, Louis, who is very (and I mean veryyyy) reactive on leash around other dogs, and not only took amazing care of him, but also gave me amazing tips for managing him in the future. I’m new to London and struggled to find help with Louis, but they agreed to watch him with other dogs even after I shared very honest stories about his behavior. I got on a flight the morning after dropping him off, worrying I’d get a call that day saying he’s too much trouble, come get him, but I landed to a complete opposite message and was able relax ever since <3 I’ve always been too scared to let Louis off leash out of fear he’d attack a random unsuspecting dog, but they tried it in a small enclosed park (after asking for my approval first), and now he actually has dog friends!!!! They are also hosting other dogs in their home with him there which is further helping his confidence and interactions with other dogs. They often send me pictures and I can see how happy and loved he is in their home. They truly care about my dog and his well-being...I even was forced to stay out of town an extra week for work and they let him stay without hesitation which helped me avoid a panic while I’m a 4hr flight away. I could go on forever, but Fernanda and her husband really know and love dogs. I’m not sure they think of themselves as dog trainers, but their experience working with so many dogs and their real joy being around them, has helped me so much and I’m very thankful I met them. I really can’t recommend them enough, just please leave some availability for me in the future haha ;)”
