“I can’t recommend Talabi more highly, Monty had such a lovely time during his stay with Talabi, he was happy as a happy thing. We received pics and videos every day, Talabi was patient and spent time training Monty, she is absolutely fabulous and clearly a dog lover. I will not hesitate to use Talabi again in future, in fact, Monty is looking forward to his next visit. Thanks so much for taking such wonderful care of him.”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats for 20+ years as I have had my own pets, I have volunteered as an animal carer, or I have sat pets of friend and neighbors. I have experience of caring for pets across age groups as well as health conditions. I am good at understanding the needs of animals and able to administer medication, etc. Although I have a full-time job, I have a lot of flexibility as I work from home and I can juggle my time through the day along with pet-sitting. I have dogs of my own but I can keep a guest dog in my home as we have spare room(s)/space. I also have a decent-sized garden. I have a small and a large crate too
“Really happy I found Sanmi. He’s great with my Pugsters & I feel good about future stays with him. He’s flexible & willing to assist. His home is set up with happy dogs in mind.”

“Annabel and Jordan were amazing with my little Leio 🥰 He loved them, and I could tell he was well taken care of. They were super kind, reliable, and made me feel completely at ease. I’d 100% recommend them to anyone looking for a great pet sitter! Thank you so much again Annabel and Jordan xx”

“Peggy had a brilliant day with Connie and Ryan. She went off happily, I received pictures and updates all day and I collected a content dog. Peggy can be a little nervous and felt very relaxed and comfortable with Connie and Ryan. Will be using again. Thank you so much :)”

About: I've 17 years and counting of lived experience with my Jack Russell, Kokomo. I’ve navigated every stage of a dog's life from the chaotic puppy years to now delicate needs with her being a senior. Whether your dog needs a high energy hike or a patient hand with daily medication, I offer the seasoned intuition that only decades of ownership can provide. Pet care isn't just a task; it’s the rhythm of my day. Having owned a Jack Russell for 17 years, I am naturally an early riser and active walker. My schedule is built around consistent routines, morning exercise, midday checkins, and evening companionship. Because I’m already accustomed to the responsibilities of long term pet ownership, fitting your dog into my daily life feels seamless and natural. My Home & Care Style I offer a specialised environment featuring a fully secure, dog-friendly terrace designed for easy access. It’s perfectly set up to allow dogs to relieve themselves whenever they need to, providing peace of mind for both of us. However, I’m highly attuned to dog body language; I can spot the 'I need to go' signs instantly and am always happy to pop them on the lead and head outside whenever needed. Comfort & Home Life I believe a dog is a member of the family, not just a guest. My home is a 'paws-on-the-furniture' household; if your dog is allowed on the sofa or the bed at your house, they are more than welcome to snuggle up with me here. I find that allowing them these familiar comforts helps them settle in quickly and reduces any separation anxiety. However if this is behaviour you do not want to encourage I am very happy to ensure neither occur. Emergency Preparedness & Safety With 17 years of dog ownership, I remain calm and decisive in urgent situations. My emergency protocol includes: Immediate Access: I keep the contact details for your preferred vet and the nearest 24/7 emergency vet on my phone. Coastway Kemptown is a 1 minute drive/short walk away. First Aid Knowledge: I am experienced in recognising signs of distress, bloat, or sudden illness, particularly in senior dogs, as have had to deal with this on a number of occasions with my own dog over the years. Open Communication: In the event of a health concern, I contact the owner immediately while taking the necessary steps to ensure the pet's safety. Transportation: I have a reliable vehicle ready for any required emergency trips to the vet.
“Thank you for looking after Busy! Laura shared frequent updates with pictures and it always looked like Busy was being very well looked after. She raised any concerns promptly to ensure Busy got the best care possible. Would definitely rebook.”

“I'm very happy with Toni .I had photos every day how my dog is doing. I will be leaving my dog with them definitely next time as well! I can tell they cared a lot about my dog and loved him too 😊”

About: About Us Hi! We’re Amy & Oj - caring for Dachsunds is part of our everyday life. We both work part time, giving us plenty of time, space, and attention to give your dog the love and care they deserve when they are with us. With over 11 years of experience raising our much-loved Miniature Dachshund, Pip, we know and understand the unique needs of the breed. We've also completed the Kennel Club’s Good Citizen Dog Training Scheme, achieving Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards, giving us a strong foundation in training, safety, and breed-specific care. About Pip Pip is our beautiful 11-year-old Miniature Dachshund and the heart of our home. She adores cuddles, strolls on the seafront, pub visits (mostly for the attention!), and snuggling on the sofa. She's a typical sausage -the occasional bark, but mostly laid-back and snoozy. Because Pip is now a senior girl, we’re not able to accommodate puppies, as much as we love them - so that her environment remains calm and comfortable. Our Home Our home is quiet, calm, and dachshund-friendly. Dogs here are treated like family, that means lots of sofa cuddles. We live right on Hove seafront, perfect for gentle walks along the promenade and Hove Lawns. We also love short countryside walks and often head out in the car to explore the Sussex scenery with Pip. We live in a step-free property (no stairs inside) making it extra safe for dachshunds and small breeds. Safety First! We are experienced in handling dachshunds safely and gently. We both work part time so on the days we are not working we are able to dedicate ourselves to looking after your beloved dog. All dogs in our care are: Carried & lifted properly to support their backs Lifted on and off furniture (no jumping allowed!) Never left on the sofa unattended Supervised at all times in a dachshund-safe space We take their safety as seriously as we do Pip’s. Walks We only walk dogs on-lead — always. That’s our promise. From relaxing seafront strolls to short countryside adventures, your dog will get plenty of fresh air and stimulation, always at a pace and distance that suits their needs and energy levels.
“Great experience with Alex, my Sprocker Basil had the best time! Alex was super accommodating, we arranged an introduction meeting in the park, and after few days arranged for a trail overnight stay, where Alex updated me with picture and videos. I will definitely continue to have Alex looking after Basil while we are away 😊”

About: I've grown up around pets, and have experience with both cats & dogs. I owned a Burmese cat (Tia) for 14 years, and my Cocker Spaniel (Willa), who I trained over four years including ongoing behavioural training. I also often look after friends and family's pets, and treat them all as if they were my own :) I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so am able to adapt to each pets needs. I make sure to provide lots of cuddles and activities too! I live in a pet friendly building, right near Preston Park, so ensure to take several walks out daily but often also drive to larger spaces like Waterhall or the Dyke.
“Michaela & Simon took such good care of Rocky for 4 nights. He was clearly having a great time from the pictures Michaela regularly shared. Would definitely recommend!”

Brighton dog owners share their Rover experiences
We’ve just done a trial sleepover with Emma and it couldn’t have gone better. Emma clearly loves dogs — she even took Leia out for a walk with her own dog, Willow, before the stay, which instantly put me at ease. From our first meeting (where she very kindly let me bring Leia round to her house), I got a great impression that Leia would be really well looked after. The trial has left me feeling completely comfortable and confident, and I’d happily book Emma again for longer stays. So far, so good — and very promising!

Annabel and Jordan took wonderful care of our dog, Diego, during the Christmas holidays. They were incredibly kind and attentive, and they truly went above and beyond — they even brought gifts for Diego and bought him a little sweater. We really appreciated the daily updates with photos and videos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. We could tell Diego was happy and well loved the entire time. We highly recommend Annabel and Jordan to anyone looking for caring and reliable dog sitters!

Couldn’t be happier with our experience- Bondy had an amazing time and was looked after perfectly. He bonded with Zoë very well - we were at ease knowing Bondy was in such good hands. We would absolutely recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Bondy misses you already!

We have been delighted with Nikki's care of Binky. Binky is an old girl with a range of needs. Nikki took all of Binkys quirks onboard and Binky was very well cared for. We felt confident Binky would be given lots of love too. Communication was brilliant. I would definitely recommend Nikki.

Always super flexible and wonderful at taking care of my dog. Snitch had some tummy issues the night before I dropped her off for her boarding, and Sophie & Yando did great to make sure she was well looked after. I also got updates to let me know she was okay, which was super reassuring. Highly recommend!

Can't thank enough, I was a bit nervous as our dog is a dog with special needs, with 3 legs and 1 eye and it was going to be her first night away from us. Valentina made sure everything went smoothly, sent us very lovely videos of their amazing walks which made us very happy and let us enjoy our stay away knowing our baby is in safe hands having a good time. Definitely recommended, thank you so much Valentina 🙏🏼

We’re really grateful to Sophie for looking after our dog Evie at short notice and taking such good care of her. Sophie was very understanding of Evie’s needs as an older dog with a few health issues. She kept us regularly updated and gave Evie all the hugs and time she needed. It was lovely to feel Evie was safe and we can’t thank Sophie enough for her time and care.
