She has been keeping us update with Kobe's day also she has been providing him with tablets, quite often during the day and normal walks. About: Having grown up with dogs (having 3 at one point, during my childhood and teens) and contributed to all aspects of their care, I am experienced with a variety of breeds both big and small. I have been dog-sitting regularly for friends and family for the past 8 years providing overnight care for short and longer breaks. My children, now 18 and 14, were much younger when I began dog sitting. They are dog lovers, who understand dogs and always behave responsibly around them. We offer a relaxed, calm, yet stimulating environment, with plenty of love. I work flexibly, part-time and from home. I can offer a flexible schedule by arrangement on a variety of days to suit working days, days out, weekends away or longer breaks. I live in a 3 bedroom terrace, with my 18 and 14 year old children. We have a fully fenced garden, and a self enclosed porch, providing safety when opening/closing the front door. I have enough space in the lounge for beds and to crate a dog if appropriate for them. I have a snuffle mat for stimulation, extra toys, and an extra bed for smaller dogs if needed.

From the start, it was clear that she has a huge understanding of dogs and is incredibly caring and patient. My dog Kiki can be quite anxious, but Valentina was so accommodating and attentive to her needs. She kept me updated with plenty of messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Valentina was brilliant with Bonnie! Bonnie is a very nervous dog, and Valentina made such an effort to help her feel comfortable by meeting us for a walk beforehand and inviting us over for a quick visit before her stay so Bonnie could get used to the house. She kept us updated with messages and photos throughout, which was so reassuring, and it was lovely to see how quickly Bonnie settled in. We’d definitely book with Valentina again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her!
Antonia was brilliant with Loki, she looked after her for the first time during our house move, when I dropped Loki off she was very unsettled, Antonia very quickly calmed her down - when I picked Loki up the next day it was plain to see they are now firm friends! Will definitely use Antonia again and would throughly recommend!
What a gorgeous family - we couldn't have asked for more for our Bella who was looked after like she was one of the family. Bella had a fab time going on lovely walks, swimming in the sea and having lots of snuggles - I would definitely recommend Ausra. How lucky to have found such a wonderful sitter for our Bells!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
