“Evie was amazing with my dog Stanley. He has some limiting mobility issues and she was so understanding and caring. I couldn’t have asked for any more in a dog sitter. I was even a little bit late coming home and Evie was very chilled and understanding. I will definitely be using her again.”

“It was the first time we’d left our young Border with anyone outside of the family. Kiki put my worries at ease - it allowed me to have a couple of days away without any concerns, and our pup had a great time! The regular photo updates were a real touch, and so reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Kiki, and we will absolutely book her again! 5 stars :)”

“Jordan was fantastic with our two dogs. Charlie is older now and needs meds, he rises early and has some older dog needs, but Jordan asked plenty of questions and then did everything that was needed. The dogs were really settled and happy when we returned, communication was good and the house was immaculate. We will definitely use Jordan again and recommend him”

“Ellie looked after our two dogs really well whilst we were away for the weekend. She sent us lots of updates and was very communicative. One of our dogs is nervous and refused to go on a walk but Ellie was very nice to her and didn't force her. When we got back our house was super clean and Ellie had even made us cupcakes!”

About: About Me Recently relocated to Brighton after many years pet sitting in Kingston/Surbiton. Lifelong animal person, I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs… even a Jersey cow, goat and chickens at one point, so I’m very comfortable around different animals and temperaments. Alongside my regular cat clients, I now also dog sit — often for the same households who trusted me with their cats first. I only take one dog booking at a time, so your dog gets my full attention, a calm environment, and consistency. I’m happy to: • Sit in your home • Or host at mine (by arrangement) ⸻ My Experience I had two rescue cats (Niles & Frasier) from 6 months old who lived to 16 and 15 slightly eccentric, very loved, and much missed. I’ve also worked with a local rescue collecting abandoned cats and fostering so I’m confident with shy, anxious or more “characterful” pets. I now have a number of regular clients and repeat bookings.
“Kei has been incredible looking after my dog, he was loving and so reassuring that she was safe and happy while I was away which meant the world to me. I felt peaceful knowing my dog was in safe hands. Not only did he respond to me super quickly he took the time to find out about her needs and routine. I’m forever grateful that he was able to have my dog while I was away. I 100% recommend him.”

About: I’ve always had animals at the centre of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years I’ve walked my friends’ dogs regularly and looked after a wide range of animals including horses, cats, tortoises and ducks. I’ve even gained hands-on experience working at an animal sanctuary in Australia, which strengthened my understanding of animal care and responsibility. I currently have three cats of my own, so I know just how important it is to trust someone with your pets. While I’m not able to have a dog full-time, Rover gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with them and provide the same love, care and attention I give my own pets. I take real pride in looking after animals and will always treat yours as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as I already care for my three cats every day, including feeding, grooming, play, litter maintenance, and monitoring their wellbeing. I also work flexibly from home, which allows me to easily fit pet care around my schedule and be present throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I also help look after friends’ pets when needed, including dog walking and cat sitting, so I’m experienced in balancing additional responsibilities alongside my routine. Because I genuinely enjoy being around animals, I naturally prioritise their care and make sure I’m attentive, reliable, and consistent whenever I’m looking after them. I will need to look after animals in the pet owners home. I follow the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. I take time to understand their specific needs, habits, and preferences, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and any medication or special care instructions. I always aim to provide calm, attentive, and respectful care, treating every pet as if they were my own while ensuring their home is left clean, tidy, and exactly as found.
“Setting up a house-sitting session with Beth was a breeze. She sent plenty of updates and both of our pets took to her immediately. Thanks, Beth. We’ll be calling on you again, I’m sure.”

“Charlotte is amazing — she’s sat for us multiple times and we completely trust her. She’s totally at ease in a remote rural setting, which makes a huge difference, and both dogs absolutely love her (and they’re not easy to win over). One of our dogs is reactive, but Charlotte handles walks calmly and confidently. Our other dog is quite timid, yet feels completely safe and relaxed around her. She’s incredibly kind and just has a way about her that makes her feel like someone you’ve known for years. We always come home to a spotless house and very happy, settled dogs. Couldn’t recommend her more”

“Carly looked after our three year old working cocker spaniel who has tons of energy and can be a little anxious. He had a great time with Carly and her dog Pup! We really appreciated the twice daily updates and we got home to a very happy dog. We would definitely recommend Carly and will certainly book her again!”

I understand that many animals feel most relaxed in their familiar surroundings, so I come to you to ensure they stay happy, calm, and well-cared for while you're away. I have grown up with animals my entire life, but my experience goes far beyond that. I previously spent time volunteering at the Dogs Trust in Shoreham, which gave me invaluable hands-on experience with a wide range of breeds and temperaments. Why choose me to visit your home? Experience & Trust: My time at Dogs Trust means I am confident, patient, and safety-conscious. Undivided Attention: Your pet won't be competing for attention with other animals; my focus is 100% on them. Flexible Schedule: Juggling a part-time job and a degree means I have great mid-week availability for walks and home visits. Updates: I’m a great communicator and will send you plenty of photos so you can see how much fun they’re having! I am an animal-obsessed person who will treat your fur baby like royalty. Whether it’s an energetic walk or just some midday company and cuddles, I’d love to help. Let’s set up a meet-and-greet! ☺️ I am currently working part-time and completing a part-time degree. I only work three days a week, so I have plenty of free time during the week. I am passionate about animals and love spending time with them, and would love to meet and care for your fur baby ☺️ I am very confident with dealing with animals as I have grown up with them my whole life. My garden is fully fenced and my cat and dog are very friendly.

About: Hi there, hope you’re well! Thanks for clicking on my page. I'm a responsible, reliable, and trustworthy dog lover - ready to look after your furry friends. I have grown up with dogs since the age of 7 - golden retrievers and tibetan terriers. I took them to puppy training, walked them, groomed them, fed them, and looked after them. I now have my own little pooch, a 17 week old puppy called Ziggy - who I’d really love to socialise and have some company during the day. He has the most lovely temperament and is very calm for a little one. I'd love to meet you and your dog to make sure your dog is comfortable and happy with me. I’m passionate about ensuring I support you and your dog on its learning journey (if that’s important to you) so happy to support with training. Doggy day care includes two walks, and I also have lots of games for the dog to play during the day (e.g. treat puzzles and lick mats!) I have a very flexible schedule as I work 4 days a week, and work from home. I'll keep my calendar updated and happy to chat through your needs :) Doggy day care and overnight stays includes two walks :) I have a lovely securely fenced in garden for your dogs to explore! This means they can go to the loo whenever they want, and chase the birdies! I will be sure to monitor them at all times. I’d like the dog bed and toy to help settle them and make them feel at home. I will give you updates throughout the day, and you are also welcome to facetime me during the day to check in on your doggy!
“Over the Christmas period our usual house sitting options were unavailable so we used Rover for the first time and were soon put in touch with Abe. Luckily he had availability and we had a meet up beforehand to allow him to meet Lily. Abe is a super friendly guy and you can tell he has a lot of experience around dogs. As he lives nearby he was flexible on start and end timings and he knew all the local walks. Over the time we were away we were kept up to date with activities at home and we got regular photos. When we got back Lily was super calm and relaxed - the sign of a good week! We wouldn’t hesitate to have Abe over again or recommend to others”

About: Hi, I’m Shin-Yu! I’ve been around dogs for most of my life, with nearly 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. I grew up with breeds including Chihuahuas, Maltese, Miniature Dachshunds, mixed-breed, and Corgis, and I currently have a rescue dog, Teddy, who has helped me better understand different temperaments and routines. I’ve also volunteered as a dog walker at a rescue kennel and have pet-sat for friends and family, gaining experience with both energetic puppies and calmer, more sensitive pets. I also have experience supporting dogs who need extra care, including administering medication, following specific routines, and making sure they get plenty of rest. I understand how important consistency is, especially during recovery periods, so I always take time to note down each pet’s needs and follow the owner’s instructions closely. My goal is to give you peace of mind, knowing your pet is in safe, attentive hands. I’m calm, reliable, and always tailor my care to suit each animal, whether that’s active walks, playtime, or providing a calm, reassuring environment. I am also mindful of pets who prefer their own space and ensure they feel safe and comfortable at all times. I work shift patterns, but I usually receive my rota 2–3 weeks in advance, which allows me to plan my availability properly. This also gives me flexibility on my days off, so I can dedicate plenty of time to pet care, walks, and companionship. I’m reliable with planning ahead and will always communicate my availability clearly in advance. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always prioritise maintaining their familiar environment and routine. I follow all instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walking routines, medication, and any specific house rules. I make sure pets feel safe, calm, and comfortable in their own space, and I always keep the home clean and respected. I understand the importance of trust when entering someone’s home, and I take that responsibility seriously.
“Lauren is a lovely young lady- wise and caring beyond her years. She has a natural affinity with animals and my silly scared shih tzu rescue was able to bond readily with her. She allowed time and patience to win through. I would not hesitate to offer Lauren more opportunities and have already requested weekly dog walks with my Suki.”

About: I've grown up looking after dogs and have two of my own currently, they have always brought me joy and understanding of myself and them Currently fully flexible for all care needs, my diary is always open for new and existing bookings. The care of the animals is my top priority I have a fully fenced garden and can provide around the clock care. Always keeping the dogs happy and making sure they are safe at all times

Benita has been wonderful! This was our first time having a cat sitter stay at our house whilst we were away and she made us feel so comfortable. She looked after our cat with kindness and care and he seemed very happy in the photos she shared. We couldn't have asked for anything more and we think she will be our cat's new bestie!

Rachel took great care of our two cockerpoos and our house while we were away on holiday - many thanks. We came home to relaxed and happy pooches, and a lovely tidy house! She took time on our meet-and-greet beforehand to find out about our boys and stayed in regular contact with us. We'll definitely want to book Rachel again!
