About: With years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments, I offer safe, reliable sitting in a calm home environment. From long walks to belly rubs and medication if needed, your dog will be treated like family while you're away. I work from home during the week, which means your pet gets plenty of attention, care, and companionship throughout the day. I have a small, secure back garden for safe outdoor time, plus comfy dog beds, toys, and a calm environment where your dog is welcome anywhere in my home.
“Spookily good with the 2 dogs, one of whom is usually very nervous with male strangers, the other boisterous and completely deaf - so not an easy gig! He looked after them in our home, everything went well - totally reliable, always turns up on time, left the house clean/tidy and I had total trust in him, as did the dogs! Will definitely use Jordan again, thanks Jordan!”

“I cannot recommend Jade enough! She was absolutely brilliant with my nervous rescue, Winter. Before the sit, she took the time to meet him a couple of times, which really helped him feel comfortable. On the second visit, he even fell asleep while we were chatting, which was a great sign. She was so respectful of his needs and kept in great communication with me while I was away. I’m so happy with how everything went and will definitely be using Jade again.”

“Kei has been incredible looking after my dog, he was loving and so reassuring that she was safe and happy while I was away which meant the world to me. I felt peaceful knowing my dog was in safe hands. Not only did he respond to me super quickly he took the time to find out about her needs and routine. I’m forever grateful that he was able to have my dog while I was away. I 100% recommend him.”

“Ellen has looked after Lulu a couple of times now and is always punctual, polite and great company for Lulu. Great with Lulu being a bit anxious with visitors, stays calm and always manages to calm Lulu down with ease.”

“I would definitely recommend Johanna! She was absolutely amazing with my nervous rescue dog, Winter. She gave him all the space and time he needed to feel comfortable and sent me an update later in the day after their walk. Johanna was on time and very respectful of Winter’s needs. I will definitely use her services again. Thank you so much 🥰”

“James is an amiable guy who cared beautifully for our Labrador Woody when we were out for the day. Woody seemed to love him! He responded promptly to messages and sent us photos, which we appreciated. We would definitely recommend him.”

“Rover.com was user friendly, making life & leaving Junior a little easier on us both! We arranged to meet Callie prior to our trip and knew from that point Junior would be in safe hands! Callie updated us during her stay & even did a lovely sketch of Junior for our return :) Thank you Callie, would be more than happy for you to stay again! Xx”

“Balbina is a wonderful sitter! Our dog can be quite reserved with new people, but she warmed to Balbina straight away and was obviously very relaxed with her. We’ll definitely ask Balbina to sit for us again. Thank you!”

About: I grew up with cats and dogs at home, where my days were regularly spent walking the dogs, cuddling up on the sofa or sharing my bed with a furry friend or two. I regularly house sit for my sister who has three Cocker Spaniels, taking them for beach or woodland walks and giving them lots of snuggles and love. I'm always conscious of not leaving pets alone at home for too long and understand that some are unable to be left alone due to their separation anxiety. I have also house sat for a couple via Trusted Housesitters, looking after their Jug (Jack Russell x Pug) for four days in their flat. On top of that, I work for a dog charity and occassionally foster pups that we are trying to rehome. I live in a pet and child-free flat in Seven Dials, Brighton. We don't have a garden however we have an enclosed shared patio for my apartment building and I live walking distance to various green spaces including St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove Park and Preston Park. I'm also a 20 minute walk to the beach. I work in marketing and my office in Seven Dials 5 minutes from my flat. I do a mix of office and work from home and have some flexibility, so if there is ever a week day in my calendar where I’m unavailable you can still reach out as I may occasionally able to move my days around. Working from home means I have plenty of time to give a pet lots of love, cuddles, as well as take them out regularly for toilet breaks and walks. I live in a spacious three bedroom flat which pets will be allowed to roam freely. I have no issues with pets sleeping in a bed within my room, on my bed or on the furniture. If needed, I can keep dogs enclosed in the kitchen whenever I am out of the house. I am happy to follow individual owner's rules when in their home to ensure their pet's routine is maintained. I don't have any pets and won't accept more than one pet owner at a time so you can feel reassured that your pet(s) would have my undivided attention.
“Laura was friendly, calm, flexible and understanding of my rescue’s ‘quirks’! Communication was great and I appreciated her patience as I figured out how the app/booking all worked!”

“I needed to be away at short notice, just after my cat had surgery, so finding someone I could truly trust to look after her was incredibly important to me. Zu was nothing short of exceptional. From the very beginning, it was clear how kind, attentive, and genuinely caring she is. Zu treated my cat, Lulu, with such gentleness and patience, which meant everything given her recent procedure. Throughout my time away, I received regular updates—complete with photos and the sweetest “purring reports”—which gave me total peace of mind. It was so reassuring to know Lulu was not only safe, but comfortable, calm, and clearly being cared for with real affection. I honestly could not have asked for a better person. Zu went above and beyond, and I would not trust anyone else with my pet. Highly, highly recommended.”

“Can’t recommend Emily highly enough! She did a great job of looking after our dog, following care instructions, sending updates, and taking care of the flat. Came home after a long weekend away to a happy dog and tidy home. Thank you, Emily!”

“Inna was such a fantastic sitter for our dog, Saffy. She is very communicative. organised, and friendly! We really appreciated the meet and greet before the looked after Saffy for an evening. Saffy seemed to love her as well! We’ll definitely be booking with Inna again :)”

“Steve is amazing. This was our first time using Rover, and although Steve is fairly new to Rover, he is an old hand at pet and house sitting. I would say he is a professional pet sitter and house sitter. Our dog Frankie loved him from the start. Steve’s calm kind energy had Frankie cuddling him on the sofa demanding head stokes. Frankie can be challenging at times with new poeple, but nothing fazes Steve and he quickly worked out Frankies quirks and made best friends with him. We have a tracker on Frankie which Steve logged on to. Steve is very good with technology so knew how to use the tracker and made sure the ‘five star’ walks were kept up and exceeded! Steve is great at sending photos and updates whilst away, and communication before. We are so happy we have found Steve and feel completely comfortable leaving our home and beloved dog with him whilst we are away.”

About: I grew up with cats and now have two of my own. I consistently looked after neighbours cats growing up and now would like to earn some extra money by doing something I love doing, spending time with and looking after cats! My own cat Marie was a stray that kept coming into my then flat, it turned out she was pregnant and soon after gave birth to 8 tiny kittens! Me and my partner decided to keep her and one of the kittens and helped look after the rest of newborns until they were rehomed through a reputable rescue. Growing up, I also had a few cats with health issues so needless to say I don't shy away from these things! I understand as a cat owner myself how scary it must be to leave your animals with someone and can guarantee that they will be in good hands with me. I am happy to give as many text updated/send lots pictures when you are away. :)) I work remotely at the moment so am able to go over in the mornings, lunch time and evenings if needed. Can also work from your home if you are open to that and give the animals company, love and play time! I live in a flat with two cats so am more keen to go over to others houses to look after pets rather than hosting at this current moment.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life, from dogs, cats and rabbits to chickens, goats, pigs, and even horses. Growing up in the Caribbean, I was always surrounded by animals, which shaped my patience, empathy, and ability to connect with pets of all personalities. I have years of hands on experience raising and training dogs from puppyhood, including teaching basic commands, building trust, and keeping them happy, active, and well cared for. Being around a wide range of animals has made me confident, calm, and attentive to different needs and behaviours. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet company, I adapt to each pet’s needs to give them the best possible care. 🐶💛 As a law student, my schedule is structured enough to be reliable but flexible enough to give pets the time and attention they deserve. My classes fall on Tuesdays (2pm to 4pm), Thursdays (all day) and Friday mornings (9am to 1pm). Outside of those hours, I am fully available and happy to provide consistent care, playtime and companionship. Here is a quick look at my availability: Monday: Available all day Tuesday: Available before 2pm and after 5pm Wednesday: Available all day Thursday: Available after 5pm Friday: Available after 1pm Saturday: Available all day Sunday: Available all day For boarding, I am always home by 5pm every day of the week, so your pet will never be left alone overnight. Whether you need daycare, a home visit or a longer stay, I am happy to work around your schedule. I care for pets in my home by treating them as if they were my own. My apartment is secure and pet friendly, with any hazards safely out of reach. Pets are welcome to relax, play and make themselves comfortable wherever they like, whether that's on the couch, in my bed or just lounging around. I give every pet plenty of attention, companionship and affection throughout the day. I also have a gated pet garden which is perfect for outdoor time in a safe and enclosed space. Pets will never be left outside unsupervised and will always be under my watch. I don't typically use crate training as I prefer to create a relaxed and trusting environment where pets feel safe and loved. My goal is to make sure every pet in my care has a secure, comfortable and happy experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they go home.

Sophie is just brilliant! We have two dogs, one of whom is very sensitive and reactive. Because of this we haven’t left him to go on holiday for many years. Sophie looked after them both in our home with such care, love and professionalism. She sent us daily updates and gorgeous photos, so we felt 💯 reassured. She put our dogs needs first every time and genuinely looked after them with love and fun. They were very happy with her! She also left our house clean and tidy. Can’t thank her enough and would recommend her to anyone. We will definitely use her again if she’ll have us with our restrictive (but gorgeous!) doggies.

Laura was great. She kept me up to date on Mimi my cat whilst I was away. The place was so clean and tidy when I came back. Mimi is shy with new people but I don't think it took her too long to settle down with Laura. I was worried when I was away and would highly recommend Laura. I hope to be using her in the future

Jeanique sat in my home with Manu for 5 days whilst I was abroad. Manu was really happy in her company which is obviously any owners' paramount concern, but in addition to that Jeanique sent updates and photos which were reassuring. She also went above and beyond, staying a little longer so that Manu did not have too long by himself after we landed, which I really appreciated . Finally, I returned to my home in the spotless condition I'd left it in. I would recommend Jeanique to anyone - friendly, conscientious, considerate and great with my dog. Thank you

Kei was the perfect dogsitter form start to finish! He responded immediately to our date request, arranged a meet and greet (which is always essential for us) and really took the time to get to know our doggies and home. He kept us updated whilst away with lovely photos and videos and the doggies had the best time with him. He is so friendly, thoughtful and intuitive with the dogs (and our home, which was spotless on our return). We can’t wait to use him again for our next sit! Would highly recommend him for anyone looking for the trustworthy reliable loving dogsitter. Thanks so much Kei 🙏

Alex was so fantastic with Peggy and made Peggy feel very at home and cared for! I received lots of updates which was lovely and I felt super comfortable that Peggy was being well loved. Alex was all the things you could wish for in a sitter, attentive, punctual, responsive, communicate and with a clear love for animals.

Balbina took amazing care of Diego, we couldn't be more grateful. We've had a bad experience with a sitter before so it's extremely important to us that he is with someone we can trust. Balbina was incredibly attentive and made sure everything was adjusted as needed for him. Thanks so much

Emma was amazing with Pablo! She met us beforehand and was very good at communicating. She was very aware of all the things that get him nervous and was very careful about the heat when taking him out. She looked after the house very well too, even watering the garden for us. She seems to have really connected with Pablo, which is what matters for us! Highly recommend!!

I would definitely recommend Johanna! She was absolutely amazing with my nervous rescue dog, Winter. She gave him all the space and time he needed to feel comfortable and sent me an update later in the day after their walk. Johanna was on time and very respectful of Winter’s needs. I will definitely use her services again. Thank you so much 🥰

Beth was really great. She was very responsive, punctual and flexible. She kindly came to meet my puppy the day before the sit, which was very reassuring. He took to her straight away and the actual sit went very well. I have no hesitation in recommending her, and will definitely book again.
