About: I grew up with cats and dogs at home, where my days were regularly spent walking the dogs, cuddling up on the sofa or sharing my bed with a furry friend or two. I regularly house sit for my sister who has three Cocker Spaniels, taking them for beach or woodland walks and giving them lots of snuggles and love. I'm always conscious of not leaving pets alone at home for too long and understand that some are unable to be left alone due to their separation anxiety. I have also house sat for a couple via Trusted Housesitters, looking after their Jug (Jack Russell x Pug) for four days in their flat. On top of that, I work for a dog charity and occassionally foster pups that we are trying to rehome. I live in a pet and child-free flat in Seven Dials, Brighton. We don't have a garden however we have an enclosed shared patio for my apartment building and I live walking distance to various green spaces including St Ann's Well Gardens, Hove Park and Preston Park. I'm also a 20 minute walk to the beach. I work in marketing and my office in Seven Dials 5 minutes from my flat. I do a mix of office and work from home and have some flexibility, so if there is ever a week day in my calendar where I’m unavailable you can still reach out as I may occasionally able to move my days around. Working from home means I have plenty of time to give a pet lots of love, cuddles, as well as take them out regularly for toilet breaks and walks. I live in a spacious three bedroom flat which pets will be allowed to roam freely. I have no issues with pets sleeping in a bed within my room, on my bed or on the furniture. If needed, I can keep dogs enclosed in the kitchen whenever I am out of the house. I am happy to follow individual owner's rules when in their home to ensure their pet's routine is maintained. I don't have any pets and won't accept more than one pet owner at a time so you can feel reassured that your pet(s) would have my undivided attention.

“Steve is amazing. This was our first time using Rover, and although Steve is fairly new to Rover, he is an old hand at pet and house sitting. I would say he is a professional pet sitter and house sitter. Our dog Frankie loved him from the start. Steve’s calm kind energy had Frankie cuddling him on the sofa demanding head stokes. Frankie can be challenging at times with new poeple, but nothing fazes Steve and he quickly worked out Frankies quirks and made best friends with him. We have a tracker on Frankie which Steve logged on to. Steve is very good with technology so knew how to use the tracker and made sure the ‘five star’ walks were kept up and exceeded! Steve is great at sending photos and updates whilst away, and communication before. We are so happy we have found Steve and feel completely comfortable leaving our home and beloved dog with him whilst we are away.”

About: I grew up with cats and now have two of my own. I consistently looked after neighbours cats growing up and now would like to earn some extra money by doing something I love doing, spending time with and looking after cats! My own cat Marie was a stray that kept coming into my then flat, it turned out she was pregnant and soon after gave birth to 8 tiny kittens! Me and my partner decided to keep her and one of the kittens and helped look after the rest of newborns until they were rehomed through a reputable rescue. Growing up, I also had a few cats with health issues so needless to say I don't shy away from these things! I understand as a cat owner myself how scary it must be to leave your animals with someone and can guarantee that they will be in good hands with me. I am happy to give as many text updated/send lots pictures when you are away. :)) I work remotely at the moment so am able to go over in the mornings, lunch time and evenings if needed. Can also work from your home if you are open to that and give the animals company, love and play time! I live in a flat with two cats so am more keen to go over to others houses to look after pets rather than hosting at this current moment.

Growing up in the Caribbean, I was always surrounded by animals, which shaped my patience, empathy, and ability to connect with pets of all personalities. I have years of hands on experience raising and training dogs from puppyhood, including teaching basic commands, building trust, and keeping them happy, active, and well cared for. Being around a wide range of animals has made me confident, calm, and attentive to different needs and behaviours. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone, and I take that responsibility seriously. I treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or quiet company, I adapt to each pet’s needs to give them the best possible care. 🐶💛 As a law student, my schedule is structured enough to be reliable but flexible enough to give pets the time and attention they deserve. My classes fall on Tuesdays (2pm to 4pm), Thursdays (all day) and Friday mornings (9am to 1pm). Outside of those hours, I am fully available and happy to provide consistent care, playtime and companionship. Pets are welcome to relax, play and make themselves comfortable wherever they like, whether that's on the couch, in my bed or just lounging around. I give every pet plenty of attention, companionship and affection throughout the day. I also have a gated pet garden which is perfect for outdoor time in a safe and enclosed space. Pets will never be left outside unsupervised and will always be under my watch. I don't typically use crate training as I prefer to create a relaxed and trusting environment where pets feel safe and loved. My goal is to make sure every pet in my care has a secure, comfortable and happy experience from the moment they arrive to the moment they go home.
