Our Daphne loves Mark and vice versa. Mark takes her on lots of different adventures. He sends us photos and videos regularly and gave us a full rundown when we returned. Our house was immaculate and well looked after. Myrtle the cat is also very content with him.

About: I have a love for all pets, especially dogs. I live in Horsham in a house with an average size garden. I have lovingly cared for my own dog and now relish helping to care for yours. I am currently on a career break so have no fixed commitments. This means I am flexible and can be available throughout the week and most weekends. In order to care for your dog I would like you to tell me about their personality, the things they enjoy and what to avoid. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. As a keen walker I am more than happy to be out in all weathers.

About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog growing up from when I was 10 years old! I absolutely love dogs and the joy they bring to life. I’ve always looked after my own dog and would take her for walks, feed, play with and bathe her. As an adult my partner and I brought home a Cavapoo puppy Bella in October of 2022 so have experience with a high energy puppy as well. We take her for walks every day and she is well cared for in our home and would love to do the same for your dog! I am currently working full-time but my job is work from home so I am always home during the day so I am available during the day and on the weekends both my partner and I are home and able to dog sit! I live in a ground floor flat which has an enclosed balcony and we have a 1.5 year old Cavapoo to keep your fur baby company! We live right by a park and open field so have plenty of space to get outside and go for walks as well! We do have a spare room so do have the space to keep the dogs separated if need be as well.

About: ⭐ Star Sitter Home-from-Home Pet Care in Horsham We provide a calm, home-from-home environment for friendly dogs needing day care, overnight stays, or holiday care. Dogs stay with us as part of family life and enjoy plenty of companionship, enrichment, exercise, and affection. For cats and small pets, we offer drop-in visits and care in the comfort of their own home, helping to maintain their usual routine while you’re away. We have experience caring for cats of all ages, including those requiring medication or additional support. Our care is particularly well suited to friendly companion breeds, smaller dogs, and pets who enjoy a relaxed, family environment. We both absolutely love animals and have always had pets in our lives. We each currently have our own dogs—a small Cavapoo and a Shih Tzu—so we truly understand how much pets mean as part of the family. Between us, we have many years of experience with dogs, cats and small animals, including rabbits. We understand that every pet is different, and we always take the time to get to know their individual routines, personalities and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for. I work on a freelance basis so have a flexible schedule which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Working alongside me is my friend Teresa who works within a school, who has regular free time in the school holidays, weekends and after school, meaning between us we can offer consistent, reliable care. We each have fully enclosed gardens with plenty of space for dogs to run around, explore and enjoy being outside safely. We both grew up with dogs and cats and have continued caring for family pets over the years, as well as providing feeding visits and check-ins for others’. 🐾 We have experience with dogs and cats at all life stages, from playful puppies/kittens through to seniors, and understand the different levels of care, patience and reassurance they may need. One of our own cats was an indoor Bengal with additional needs, so we are confident administering medication and providing gentle, attentive and patient care, always tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, happiness and wellbeing are always our priority. We aim to provide a calm, reassuring presence so they feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away. We also offer reliable local walks and drop-in visits in the Horsham area, ideal for busy owners, workdays or holidays. We also have very close links to a vet surgery in the area and are able to help with transportation to Vets visits if needed. We’re always happy to send updates and photos, so you can feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in kind and capable hands 💛 🐾 Suitability & Home Environment We offer a calm, home-from-home environment and are best suited to small to medium sized, friendly, sociable dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and in a home setting. As we have our own dogs and may care for more than one at a time, we are not the right fit for dogs with aggressive behaviours or those who prefer to be the only pet. Having said that we never have more than 3 or 4 dogs at any one time to ensure we can give them the attention they deserve. We always arrange a meet & greet to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. If you’d like to have a chat or arrange a meet & greet, we’d love to hear from you 😊 Between us, we can cover all weekly pet care needs. As I work on a freelance basis, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care throughout the day. My colleague works within a school and has regular time off, including holidays, so between us we’re able to offer consistent, reliable cover across weekdays, evenings and weekends. This means we can be flexible to suit your needs and ensure your pets aren’t left without care or companionship. When caring for pets, whether in our home or the owner’s home, we always aim to keep things as calm, familiar and consistent as possible. We take the time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any specific needs, so they feel comfortable and settled. In the owner’s home, we respect their space and follow their pet’s normal routine closely, providing companionship, care and plenty of reassurance while they’re away. In our own homes, we offer a clean, safe and relaxed environment with fully enclosed gardens for secure outdoor time. We only take on a small number of pets so we can give them plenty of attention, care and supervision, making sure they feel at ease and well looked after. We’re also very happy to provide updates and photos, so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy, safe and in caring hands.

Philippa was absolutely brilliant with all our animals, the cats loved her and the dog was smitten. It was the first time our furr babies have been left with anyone outside our family and I was worried how they would find it but Philippa made them all very happy with lots of fuss. We received regular message updates and photos which made the whole experience so much more relaxing for us too. Would highly recommend Philippa and would definitely book again.

Delilah was fantastic looking after our 5 month old spaniel puppy. Being a puppy it is naturally more demanding, but Delilah has great experience with puppies, particularly spaniels. I felt really assured that Pippin was in good hands. Delilah gave great communication throughout, sending me updates and pictures. Would highly recommend.

About: I'm Eva... a fun-loving, outgoing and bubbly individual. I have been housesitting / petsitting for private clients since 2016. I am passionate about all animals, but dogs & cats are my speciality. I grew up with lots of pets, which help shaped my adoration for caring for small beings. In addition to the above - I do have a small amount of experience for caring for farm animals i.e. chickens, pigs, sheep, horses and goats! My previous job roles within the animal industry include dog day care assistant and trainer, operations assistant at one of the largest dog day care centres in Surrey and one of the head receptionists at my local vets. I have also volunteered at Shoreham Dogs Trust in previous years too. I have been fortunate enough to build a long lasting relationships with my previous clients, often house / petsitting for several years or multiple times a year. I pride myself on providing a professional and reliable service, where I will treat your home and animals the exact same way you would. I am now currently employed full-time. Therefore my working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday during the week only. Please send me a message with what you are looking for care wise, and we can look to see what works. When I’m staying at a clients house - I like to ensure I’m fully equipped with any information about the safety of the property i.e any locks / gates/ outdoor space. As well as where the pet needs to be fed, bathed or the area that they sleep best in. I view animals like people - they all have different personalities / likes and dislikes and I’ll treat your pet in the exact same way you would at your own home. It’s super important for them to feel as comfortable and happy as possible! I will always be honest and inform you of any issues or challenges that potentially arise - without causing fear or worry.

Trustworthy, Loving & Professional Highly Recommend Shellina We were away and leaving both our cat and dog with Shellina was absolutely the right decision. From the very beginning, she kept us consistently updated with photos and messages, which made a huge difference while we were away. It was clear that both of our pets were not only well cared for, but genuinely comfortable and happy. Shellina gave them so much attention, affection, and cuddles that, honestly, they didn’t even feel our absence. That says everything. She followed their routines carefully, ensured they were well fed, exercised, and emotionally settled. Our dog enjoyed plenty of walks and playtime, and both pets received constant love and interaction. She even helped them socialise, which was a great added touch. She stayed in our home, treated everything with respect, and handled everything in a very professional and organised way. What stood out most was the peace of mind — we didn’t worry for a single moment. That level of trust is not easy to find. Shellina clearly loves animals and takes her work seriously. We are incredibly grateful for the level of care she provided and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, loving, and professional pet sitter. Thank you again, Shellina — wishing you continued success.

This was Samantha's first booking with me and it's always a nervous time. I needn't have worried at all. Sam and Marni (my dog) clearly gelled from the start and went on lots of lovely walks together, meeting family, having coffee out in town and generally having a whale of a time from all the pictures Sam kindly sent me. The cats were fluffy and happy on my return and didn't give Sam too much trouble getting them in from their daily forages. She even kindly did some ironing for me which wasn't expected but was very gratefully received! Would definitely have Sam again and hope she will continue to be a Roverite.

Charlotte H was absolutely fabulous. We contacted 6 other dog sitters before we found Charlotte. Charlotte was the only one who came and had a meet and greet before sitting as our dog has sepaeration anxiety and can be reactive. Due to Charlotte's calm nature our dog quickly bonded with her. During the sit Charlotte sent us messages and pictures to reassure us. We would recommend Charlotte to anyone who needs a dog sitter, she is the first person you should try to book.

Josh certainly lives up to the name Josh - The Cat Whisperer. Lemmy was looked after so well and I returned to a very chilled out kitty. Thank you so much Josh.🙂

Erin has been amazing. I was so concerned about leaving our 12 year old dog behind for the first time when we had booked a holiday abroad. I needn’t of worried as Erin took such good care of him, giving us morning and evening updates. She has treated him as her own and I can see he has had such a good time without us. Erin treats your home with so much respect and goes over and above to look after your fur baby.
