About: I have a love for all pets, especially dogs. I live in Horsham in a house with an average size garden. I have lovingly cared for my own dog and now relish helping to care for yours. I am currently on a career break so have no fixed commitments. This means I am flexible and can be available throughout the week and most weekends. In order to care for your dog I would like you to tell me about their personality, the things they enjoy and what to avoid. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. As a keen walker I am more than happy to be out in all weathers.

About: I’ve always been around dogs and have lots of hands-on experience caring for them. Alongside my own three-year-old Golden Retriever, Milo, I regularly look after family and friends’ dogs, giving me experience with a wide range of breeds, sizes and personalities. Milo is a friendly, playful dog who loves walks, swimming and meeting new friends, but I understand that every dog is different and has their own personality. Some dogs love the excitement of group walks, while others prefer their own space and a quieter one-to-one walk — I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes your dog feel comfortable and happy. I’m confident looking after all types of dogs, from energetic puppies who need plenty of exercise and attention, to older dogs who prefer a gentler pace. I’m also happy to follow any routines your dog is used to, including feeding schedules, medication, training routines or any special requirements. I have a flexible schedule, which means I’m able to offer walks, drop-in visits and house sitting throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends. I’m happy to work around your dog’s usual routine, whether they need a regular daily walk, a lunchtime visit, some company while you’re out, or care while you’re away. Your dog’s safety and happiness are always my top priorities. As a dog owner myself, I understand how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can trust. I take the time to get to know each dog individually, including their personality, energy levels and any specific needs they may have. I’m happy to follow your instructions around feeding, medication, routines and anything else that helps your dog feel settled. For walks, I’ll make sure your dog is comfortable and safe, whether that’s enjoying a fun group walk with suitable companions or having a quieter one-to-one walk if they prefer their own space. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog growing up from when I was 10 years old! I absolutely love dogs and the joy they bring to life. I’ve always looked after my own dog and would take her for walks, feed, play with and bathe her. As an adult my partner and I brought home a Cavapoo puppy Bella in October of 2022 so have experience with a high energy puppy as well. We take her for walks every day and she is well cared for in our home and would love to do the same for your dog! I am currently working full-time but my job is work from home so I am always home during the day so I am available during the day and on the weekends both my partner and I are home and able to dog sit! I live in a ground floor flat which has an enclosed balcony and we have a 1.5 year old Cavapoo to keep your fur baby company! We live right by a park and open field so have plenty of space to get outside and go for walks as well! We do have a spare room so do have the space to keep the dogs separated if need be as well.

I have experience in giving all types of medication, and understanding different behaviours... and most important of all, your pet will be welcome up on the couch for cuddles. I am home all day so they will not be left alone, and can send you updates and photos as often as you wish :) I work from home, so your pet will have my attention whenever they want or need. This also means I can fit in any feeding or medication schedual. I will also be free to contact any time. I am home all day, so your baby will not be left alone... unless that's their thing! If they're young and want play time, I'll be there to play... or if they're a bit older and just want to lay on the couch and get stroked I can do that too :)

Sam and Marni (my dog) clearly gelled from the start and went on lots of lovely walks together, meeting family, having coffee out in town and generally having a whale of a time from all the pictures Sam kindly sent me. The cats were fluffy and happy on my return and didn't give Sam too much trouble getting them in from their daily forages. She even kindly did some ironing for me which wasn't expected but was very gratefully received! Would definitely have Sam again and hope she will continue to be a Roverite.”
