He was amenable to administration of medicines for a diabetic cat (injecting insulin twice daily). He kept me updated when there were things with the house or the cats throughout his stay which made relaxing on holiday extra easy. He was also quick to pick up a gunky eye from one of our cats (she suffers from allergies from time to time). I would highly recommend Alfie as he is extremely attentive and professional - his love for animals shines through 🤩🤩”

About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a normal part of my day-to-day life. Since I was 16, I've also regularly helped family and friends with dog walking, drop-in visits and pet sitting, looking after dogs with different routines, personalities and exercise needs. I'm confident with everything that comes with everyday dog care – walks, feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, keeping to established routines and, of course, giving them plenty of attention and affection. I know how important it is to be able to trust the person looking after your dog. I'll always take the time to understand your dog's individual routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and I'll follow any instructions you leave carefully. I'm also happy to arrange a Meet & Greet beforehand so you and your dog can get to know me. I work Monday to Friday, which makes me particularly well suited to early-morning walks and visits, lunchtime care for local dogs, and evening walks and drop-ins. I'm also more flexible at weekends. I live in Slinfold and have my own car, so I'm able to travel to pet owners in the surrounding area. During every booking, I'll treat your pet as I would my own and keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing they're happy and being well looked after. Whether your dog needs a good walk to burn off some energy, a lunchtime toilet break while you're at work, feeding and company, or someone dependable to care for them while you're away, I'd love to meet them! 🐶 I’m currently working 9-5pm, Monday to Friday in Billingshurst West Sussex. I wfh two days per week which I can arrange around your pets needs. I will have plenty of time throughout the day for toilet breaks, playtime and any lunchtime feeds that might be required :) I am comfortable with any medicine requirements your pet may need as well as making sure they have enough water, food, play and attention throughout the day. If they need crate time or an alone space please let me know.

“We booked Lauren for an overnight sit to look after our puppy, Koki. Lauren was very professional throughout the process, and came to meet us and Koki twice before the sit. Koki responded very well to Lauren, and we were very comfortable leaving Koki under Lauren's care. Lauren arrived well in time for the sit, and was very well prepared. Koki was very happy and relaxed in her company. Lauren kept us very well informed about how Koki was doing, and we had no concerns at all during the sit. On our return, Koki was very good spirits and clearly enjoyed the sit, and Lauren left the house in very good order. We were very happy with Lauren's services, and will be using her again in the future.”

About: Having grown up with dogs (having 3 at one point, during my childhood and teens) and contributed to all aspects of their care, I am experienced with a variety of breeds both big and small. I have been dog-sitting regularly for friends and family for the past 8 years providing overnight care for short and longer breaks. My children, now 18 and 14, were much younger when I began dog sitting. They are dog lovers, who understand dogs and always behave responsibly around them. We offer a relaxed, calm, yet stimulating environment, with plenty of love. I work flexibly, part-time and from home. I can offer a flexible schedule by arrangement on a variety of days to suit working days, days out, weekends away or longer breaks. I live in a 3 bedroom terrace, with my 18 and 14 year old children. We have a fully fenced garden, and a self enclosed porch, providing safety when opening/closing the front door. I have enough space in the lounge for beds and to crate a dog if appropriate for them. I have a snuffle mat for stimulation, extra toys, and an extra bed for smaller dogs if needed.
