With owners home sitting, I will always look to keep the pets in their routine, or as close to it as possible - this includes feeding & walking times, as well as discussing any length of time they can be left. Any quirky requests I'm happy to accomadate!

To help me care for your pets, I would need to know their age, breed and any specific behaviours that I will need to be aware of before my services (i.e, house guarding, feeding, toileting etc). If your pets also need medication, this is essential to discuss beforehand, as well as requesting their registered vet practice, in case of emergencies.
A typical day
I always look to go above and beyond for my dogs, and a walk isn't just a walk! We'll work on easy training methods, controlled exercise and anything specific the owner would like to work on. I will typically look to walk locally, in areas familiar to the dog and owner - exceptions for dogs requiring off lead paddock areas can be discussed directly at additional rates. Any care at your home, I will look to engage your pet regularly to provide mental stimulation and exercise (where possible), to make a fun and enjoyable experience!

Hello, I'm James and I've been professionally working with dogs and other animals for over 10 years - alongside a University Degree in Bioveterinary Science! I currently work as a full time, self employed pet professional with my own one man business - I cover feeding, walking, basic training, house sitting and more! Please contact me to discuss what I can do for your pet(s), I'd love to become a regular friend for your pets 🐾 Please check my availability on the calender, which I update regularly 🙌 I care for each pet on an individual basis - every pet is different and will require it's own unique handling and attention, which I can offer after consulation with you prior to my service. As I've worked in kennels & daycare centers for many years, I'm experienced with nearly all breeds and sizes, and don't mind any quirky requests! I will always look to suggest a free meet-and-greet prior to your booking, to get aquainted better 🐕🐈 I also specialise in working with anxious & reactive dogs, and will take extra care in finding the best way to work with and look after pets who are in need of extra care. I have converted many 'male reactive' dogs to best friends in the past, with patience and tailored care, and I am happy to put in the time to make it work ❤

James looks after our anxious terrier Logan so well, Logan is always very comfortable and relaxed when James looks after him! Great communication too!
James was very friendly and professional and he took such good care of our dog, Ivy, whilst we were away for a week. James was always on hand to provide updates and he left the house in wonderful condition. Knowing we left Ivy in capable hands took a lot of the stress out of the trip and we’re very, very grateful for that!
James looked after our 2 pugs for 6 nights in our home. James was brilliant with the dogs, he visited us before the stay to go over details and get to know the dogs. James kept us up updated with photos whilst we were away. Jane's did a really good job and left the house clean and tidy. He goes the extra mile, I can't recommend him enough.
