About: Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, dogs first, growing up, then cats for most of my adult years, two of whom lived a good life all the way to 21 and 23. There's a particular kind of trust that builds slowly over time with an older animal, a language of small signals, and a practice of paying real attention which one learns to read. Over the years I've often looked after friends' pets too, and with my own older ones, I've seen them through various medications for ongoing age-related symptoms, so routines, dosages, and the small day to day adjustments that come with an aging pet are all familiar territory to me. Right now I share my home with a 12-year-old moggie/Norwegian Forest cat, who came to me as a rescue at six and settled beautifully once he felt safe — he has lots of little ways of communicating his needs. So I know what it is to live alongside family pets who have their own mind, their own rhythm, and their own way of letting you in. Whether it's a puppy full of energy or an old soul who moves a little slower these days, I meet each animal as they are no rushing, no forcing, just quiet attentiveness and the kind of care I'd want for my own. About: My mum and I have lived with dogs and cats are whole lives. We have a sausage dog named Charlie who is the beloved baby of the family. We also have two cats: Lola and Leo. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog growing up from when I was 10 years old! I absolutely love dogs and the joy they bring to life. I’ve always looked after my own dog and would take her for walks, feed, play with and bathe her. As an adult my partner and I brought home a Cavapoo puppy Bella in October of 2022 so have experience with a high energy puppy as well. We take her for walks every day and she is well cared for in our home and would love to do the same for your dog! I am currently working full-time but my job is work from home so I am always home during the day so I am available during the day and on the weekends both my partner and I are home and able to dog sit! I live in a ground floor flat which has an enclosed balcony and we have a 1.5 year old Cavapoo to keep your fur baby company! We live right by a park and open field so have plenty of space to get outside and go for walks as well! We do have a spare room so do have the space to keep the dogs separated if need be as well.

I have experience with medium to small breeds including brachycephalic with my current French Bulldog who gets on with every dog she meets. “Delilah really looked after Rory (6 month old golden retriever) from 8:30 till 3pm. Rory seems to have had a brilliant time. Delilah sent me several photos of Rory chilling on the sofa with another dog, and out for walks in the fields. It was a really hot day and Delilah was careful to walk the dogs in a shady place. She gave Rory her kibble lunch, and water, and they went for 2 walks. Delilah was flexible when I needed to bring Rory to her half an hour earlier than I'd booked. I am self employed working from home part time so I’m at home throughout the day with plenty of time so your dog will have lots of company, attention and regular walks. Our own friendly dog, Lulu enjoys the company of other dogs, and we’ll treat your pet as one of the family, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Mornings start early with a walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Between breakfast and lunch we do enrichment activities to keep things mentally stimulating, followed by a twenty-minute toilet break up to the woods to make sure everyone’s comfortable. After lunch there’s another round of enrichment before dinner, which is followed by an evening walk. Throughout the day there’s plenty of time for play and exercise, so your dog will never be short of stimulation or company. We live on a five-acre smallholding with open space and woodland to explore, plus a fenced garden and a fenced paddock for safe, secure play. There’s loads of room to roam and burn off energy, whether that’s a gentle wander or a proper run-around. The space is set up so dogs can play freely while staying secure, and there’s always somewhere new to sniff and explore.

As I work on a freelance basis, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care throughout the day. My colleague works within a school and has regular time off, including holidays, so between us we’re able to offer consistent, reliable cover across weekdays, evenings and weekends. This means we can be flexible to suit your needs and ensure your pets aren’t left without care or companionship. When caring for pets, whether in our home or the owner’s home, we always aim to keep things as calm, familiar and consistent as possible. We take the time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any specific needs, so they feel comfortable and settled. In the owner’s home, we respect their space and follow their pet’s normal routine closely, providing companionship, care and plenty of reassurance while they’re away. In our own homes, we offer a clean, safe and relaxed environment with fully enclosed gardens for secure outdoor time. We only take on a small number of pets so we can give them plenty of attention, care and supervision, making sure they feel at ease and well looked after. We’re also very happy to provide updates and photos, so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy, safe and in caring hands.

About: The companionship of animals has always been part of my life. Growing up in the countryside our dogs, Kimmy & Lady - Rough Collies & Tramps a Lab/Alsatain cross were apart everyday life and my best friends. For the last five years I've regularly looked after friends' dogs, so I have become accustom to the different rhythms a dog can have, the ones who want a good long walk to settle, the ones who just want you near, the ones who take a little longer to trust a new face and the ones who don't. There's a particular kind of trust that builds slowly over time with an older animal too, a language of small signals, and a practice of paying real attention, which one learns to read. Right now I share my home with a 12 year old moggie/Norwegian Forest cat, who came to me as a rescue at six and settled beautifully once he felt safe. So I know what it is to live alongside family pets who have their own mind, their own rhythm, and their own way of letting you in. I am at home for most of the day. I walk my dog first thing and later in the day. If I go out its for short periods and usually take dogs with me. I am self employed working from home part time so I’m at home throughout the day with plenty of time so your dog will have lots of company, attention and regular walks. Our own friendly dog, Lulu enjoys the company of other dogs, and we’ll treat your pet as one of the family, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Mornings start early with a walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Between breakfast and lunch we do enrichment activities to keep things mentally stimulating, followed by a twenty-minute toilet break up to the woods to make sure everyone’s comfortable. After lunch there’s another round of enrichment before dinner, which is followed by an evening walk. Throughout the day there’s plenty of time for play and exercise, so your dog will never be short of stimulation or company. We live on a five-acre smallholding with open space and woodland to explore, plus a fenced garden and a fenced paddock for safe, secure play. There’s loads of room to roam and burn off energy, whether that’s a gentle wander or a proper run-around. The space is set up so dogs can play freely while staying secure, and there’s always somewhere new to sniff and explore.

Despite it being a last minute booking, she and her family took such kind and attentive care of my dog, especially because he was already unwell from the first day, he arrived with gastrointestinal issues and she went above and beyond to keep him clean, comfortable, and well looked after, even cooking rice to help him feel better and making sure he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the level of communication. Nicola kept me updated all the time, which gave me great peace of mind and reassured me that my dog was in safe, caring hands. My dog is part of our family, and it meant so much to see him treated as if he were part of hers. He was genuinely happy staying with them and clearly felt safe and cared for.
