Our usual dog sitter has moved away too far so found Alisha on here. So glad we found her! Luna and Murphy have got on soo well. She’s very playful and full on and Murphy is so chilled and accepts her. Alisha was so good when meeting Luna and Luna instantly liked her. She can be a bit funny with men but also instantly liked Alisha’s husband, Dan. Really appreciated Alisha doing a meet and greet and having Luna for a free daycare to ensure Luna was comfortable. She’s also helped to work on Luna’s recall and heel walking. Would definitely recommend Alisha and will use her as our sitter now!

Sammy dog sat for us for 1 night as a trial to see if our dog would be happy and settled. We dropped him off on Wednesday evening and collected him on Thursday evening. Sammy was quick to reply to my check in messges. Geoff was well looked after and we are happy that Sammy has agreed to look after him again in a few months as we know he will be loved and well looked after in our absence.

We recently had Craig and Jen look after our dog, Eva, while we were on holiday, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! From the moment we booked through Rover, the process was super easy and seamless. Craig and Jen were amazing hosts for Eva, keeping us updated with regular photos and videos of her playing and enjoying her walks. It was so reassuring to see how happy she was, and she even got along wonderfully with their family pet dog! Eva came home content and not at all resentful about us being away—if anything, she seemed like she would have happily stayed with Craig, Jen, and their family longer! It’s clear they treated her as one of their own. We’re so relieved to have found such a loving and welcoming family for Eva to stay with, and we will definitely be reaching out to Craig and Jen again the next time we need a dog sitter. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience with this Elizabeth. I feel very lucky to have found her because she took such thoughtful care of our dog, who recently became blind. Elizabeth is friendly, considerate and great with communications. She made sure our dog felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after during his stay. It’s clear she has a genuine love, patience and understanding for dogs and experience with dogs with special needs. I really appreciated the updates she sent and the caring environment she provided. We look forward to having our dog stay with her again. Highly recommended!

Pippa (our Friese Stabij, the Dutch version of a Spaniel/Pointer/Border Collie) has spent over a week at Suzanne and Watson. Suzanne did a great job in updating us and providing numerous of pictures and movies. As Pippa is a very active dog, we were very happy that she took Pippa on many long walks. She is clear in her communication and fast in her replies. We are sure that Pippa loves Suzanne and adores Watson. For sure we will return for next occasions. We can recommend Suzanne for everyone interested in a loving stay for their dog.

About: I am 29 years old and a mum to a four year old. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a teenager. I have always been an animal lover but never had the opportunity to have a pet for myself. I am currently a stay at home mum so am available during the week and at the weekends depending on your needs. My child does attend preschool so I can work around walks without bringing my little one along with me if needed. I am living in a ground floor flat but have a fenced and gated garden so your pet will be safe when roaming in the garden.

Alice was taken care of extremely well by Monique and Portia. She is a blind, senior dog so has some special needs but they handled her wonderfully and took her for long walks and included her in their lives which alleviated her anxiety. We were updated with daily photos and reports. I highly recommend them for your dog. Alice came home calm and happy.

About: Hi! I’m Eszter and I’m a reliable and caring animal lover based in Southwater. I’ve always been around dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them—whether that’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping them company. I understand that every dog has their own personality and needs, and I’ll always make sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re with me! I’ll treat your dog like my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you have peace of mind. 😊 My work schedule is very flexible and I have plenty of days off to look after your fur baby! I also have a car and I don’t mind if it gets dirty after a big walk. I live right next to a park so it’s super easy to go for big walks. I also have a small garden if your dog wants some fresh air!

About: I live with my husband Barry on a five-acre smallholding in Shermanbury, with plenty of space, a secure fenced garden and beautiful countryside on our doorstep. I am self employed working from home part time so I’m at home throughout the day with plenty of time so your dog will have lots of company, attention and regular walks. Our own friendly dog, Lulu enjoys the company of other dogs, and we’ll treat your pet as one of the family, making sure they feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. Mornings start early with a walk to stretch their legs and get some fresh air. Between breakfast and lunch we do enrichment activities to keep things mentally stimulating, followed by a twenty-minute toilet break up to the woods to make sure everyone’s comfortable. After lunch there’s another round of enrichment before dinner, which is followed by an evening walk. Throughout the day there’s plenty of time for play and exercise, so your dog will never be short of stimulation or company. We live on a five-acre smallholding with open space and woodland to explore, plus a fenced garden and a fenced paddock for safe, secure play. There’s loads of room to roam and burn off energy, whether that’s a gentle wander or a proper run-around. The space is set up so dogs can play freely while staying secure, and there’s always somewhere new to sniff and explore.

I couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter than Nicola. Despite it being a last minute booking, she and her family took such kind and attentive care of my dog, especially because he was already unwell from the first day, he arrived with gastrointestinal issues and she went above and beyond to keep him clean, comfortable, and well looked after, even cooking rice to help him feel better and making sure he felt right at home. I also really appreciated the level of communication. Nicola kept me updated all the time, which gave me great peace of mind and reassured me that my dog was in safe, caring hands. She was also very mindful of his arthritis, making sure to walk him with extra care. What truly stood out was the level of love and attention she gave him. My dog is part of our family, and it meant so much to see him treated as if he were part of hers. He was genuinely happy staying with them and clearly felt safe and cared for. He also had a wonderful time with their lovely dog, Gino, who is kind and playful. The spacious garden gave them plenty of room to enjoy themselves, and my dog really made the most of it. I’m incredibly grateful for the level of care Nicola provided and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a genuine dog lover who will make their pet feel comfortable and part of the family.

My partner and I booked Lucy in to come and visit our cat whilst we were away with family. We were worried about leaving our cat as we had only had her about 6 weeks before going. Prior to us going away, Lucy completed a visit to meet our cat and find out information about her. Lucy asked lots of questions and my cat immediately warmed to Lucy. We arranged a separate time to collect a key which worked for both of us. Following booking we moved to communicating on WhatsApp which was easier to use and access. When we were away Lucy provided lots of updates alongside photos and videos of our cat which eased any anxiety. Later in the week I needed Lucy to come in for a few more visits due to work commitments changing from family members and Lucy was happy to do so, allowing me to discuss and book in new times. Lucy also offered to water plants and take out bins which would be useful if that was something that needed doing. Overall my partner and I were really happy with the service Lucy provided to our cat, making sure she had company and was able to play whilst we were away. My partner and I are going away later this year and I have no doubt that if Lucy has space we will book with her again.

About: I grew up around working dogs as well as having a family dog Saffie. She unfortunately passed last summer at age 13. I have a lot of love for her that I want to share to other dogs and animals and I would love to support you and your pet in any way possible. I am happy to work how your animal works best. If they need brain games, or running, or sniffing, or just a slow walk I am very happy to oblige. I have experience working with older dogs and I really understand how difficult it can be to keep them active and comfortable so anything I am able to do for that I will, e.g. swimming, soft ground, etc I am more than happy to do. I am also very willing to work with other animals as well. I have experience with rodents such as gerbils and rats, and I love all animals so anything you've got that needs looking after, I'm open to! Sometimes the freelance work picks up so I become limited on the amount of free time I have but I will keep my calendar as updated as I possibly can! I am working freelance in Film and TV at the moment but I have always had a love of animals, big and small. I have a very flexible calendar and would love to spend my time not working getting to spend some time with animals! I am very happy to meet your dog first to help get to know them and let them get to know me first. I am keen to learn and include everything that you normally like to do with your pet to make them as comfortable as possible

About: My mum and I have lived with dogs and cats are whole lives. We have a sausage dog named Charlie who is the beloved baby of the family. We also have two cats: Lola and Leo. Charlie and the cats gets along wonderfully with small dogs- the more little doggos around, the merrier! We provide a calm, cozy, and pet-friendly environment where your dog will be treated like family. My mum and I both work from home, so there will always be someone around to give your dog attention, playtime, and regular toilet breaks. I’ll be starting my Master’s program in September, but she’ll be happily continuing with dog sitting while I study. Our fenced garden offers a safe space for outdoor time, and Charlie enjoys popping in and out through the cat flap. I’ll be home everyday to take the dogs for walks if desired and give them plenty of playtime and cuddles. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll follow your routines closely to help your dog feel comfortable and secure. I treat every home and pet with the same respect and care I would want for my own.

About: I'm Eva... a fun-loving, outgoing and bubbly individual. I have been housesitting / petsitting for private clients since 2016. I am passionate about all animals, but dogs & cats are my speciality. I grew up with lots of pets, which help shaped my adoration for caring for small beings. In addition to the above - I do have a small amount of experience for caring for farm animals i.e. chickens, pigs, sheep, horses and goats! My previous job roles within the animal industry include dog day care assistant and trainer, operations assistant at one of the largest dog day care centres in Surrey and one of the head receptionists at my local vets. I have also volunteered at Shoreham Dogs Trust in previous years too. I have been fortunate enough to build a long lasting relationships with my previous clients, often house / petsitting for several years or multiple times a year. I pride myself on providing a professional and reliable service, where I will treat your home and animals the exact same way you would. I am now currently employed full-time. Therefore my working hours are 8am - 5pm, Monday to Friday during the week only. Please send me a message with what you are looking for care wise, and we can look to see what works. When I’m staying at a clients house - I like to ensure I’m fully equipped with any information about the safety of the property i.e any locks / gates/ outdoor space. As well as where the pet needs to be fed, bathed or the area that they sleep best in. I view animals like people - they all have different personalities / likes and dislikes and I’ll treat your pet in the exact same way you would at your own home. It’s super important for them to feel as comfortable and happy as possible! I will always be honest and inform you of any issues or challenges that potentially arise - without causing fear or worry.

About: From growing up with two yellow labs to caring for a gentle Bull Mastiff needing palliative care, dogs have always been family to me. I truly love giving each dog heartfelt attention—whether it’s playful walks with a lively pup or comforting snuggles for seniors. I always stop to greet dogs I meet because they bring me so much joy. Your dog’s happiness, comfort, and feeling loved is my top priority, every single time. I currently work full time (08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday), so I’m available to look after your dog before work, after work, on weekends, and during school holidays and half terms. In those moments, giving dogs love, attention, and companionship becomes the best part of my day! I always treat a pet owner’s home with the same respect and care I’d give my own. I keep things tidy, stick closely to your dog’s routine, and make sure they feel safe, loved, and never lonely. About: I’ve been around dogs my entire life and had a family dog growing up from when I was 10 years old! I absolutely love dogs and the joy they bring to life. I’ve always looked after my own dog and would take her for walks, feed, play with and bathe her. As an adult my partner and I brought home a Cavapoo puppy Bella in October of 2022 so have experience with a high energy puppy as well. We take her for walks every day and she is well cared for in our home and would love to do the same for your dog! I am currently working full-time but my job is work from home so I am always home during the day so I am available during the day and on the weekends both my partner and I are home and able to dog sit! I live in a ground floor flat which has an enclosed balcony and we have a 1.5 year old Cavapoo to keep your fur baby company! We live right by a park and open field so have plenty of space to get outside and go for walks as well! We do have a spare room so do have the space to keep the dogs separated if need be as well.

Absolutely fantastic couple that take amazing care of Molly. She pull's me straight back every time after the meet and greet and always comes home tired from having fun with Murphy. Cant recommend enough a lovely couple with alot of time and knowledge about keeping your little family member safe and entertained.

About: My kitten of 18 years passed away last year, so I now have an empty nest. I know from experience how hard it is to find someone you trust to leave your baby with when you need to go away, so I'm offering a home from home for your pet. I have experience in giving all types of medication, and understanding different behaviours... and most important of all, your pet will be welcome up on the couch for cuddles. I am home all day so they will not be left alone, and can send you updates and photos as often as you wish :) I work from home, so your pet will have my attention whenever they want or need. This also means I can fit in any feeding or medication schedual. I will also be free to contact any time. I am home all day, so your baby will not be left alone... unless that's their thing! If they're young and want play time, I'll be there to play... or if they're a bit older and just want to lay on the couch and get stroked I can do that too :)

It seems my anxious pup had a wonderful stay with Charlotte. We did a meet and greet first, and she and Bailey were very friendly and understanding of her anxious behaviour, which really put me at ease. The photos throughout the day of her walks, playing inside, and especially being comfortable enough to relax on the couch were really appreciated. Couldn't ask for more in a sitter!

About: I am very flexible on timings and I mostly work from home so able to accommodate throughout the day. Long walks in the woodlands are my favourite thing to do, I am sure your dog will agree with me. Everything can be arranged beforehand and any specific preferences I am all hears. Previously worked for one of the nation's biggest Dog Welfare Charity which allowed me to continuously engage with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavioural traits. I have learned a lot about training, enrichment, and the daily needs of dogs. I understand leaving your friends in the hands of another person can be quite stressful, to minimize this impact I am happy to give you continuous updates on mobile/Whatsapp and accommodate to any other requirements specific to your household. I mostly work from home and have a flexible schedule so I am able to adapt to your pet's needs. Any specific requests please just let me know. I have a house with a large fenced garden, your dog can be safe while playing around the house, and get some outdoor enrichment as well aside from toilet breaks. Furthermore, I will go on long walks to the country park and woodland nearby.

About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbours dogs for over 10 years now. I now also run my own pet care services and dog walking business which has been running over a year now with regular clients daily. We have our own family pet dog who’s 4 now, she’s the most loyal and fun friendly dog anyone could ask for. Loves anyone and anything. Happy family home. I rub my own dog walking and pet care services business, so alongside this I’ll have plenty of time to look after your dog and go for long walks in the farmland nearby. Also if suited they can join me on group walks with my other clients. I have 3 children who all love the dogs we have to stay at our house too so they will always have a lot of fuss made of them. I have a fully fenced safe and secure decent sized back garden and lovely fields and farmland near by available to walk too as well. I’m fully insured, dbs checked and hold animal first aid certificate which I keep up to date regularly.

About: 🐾Home-from-Home Boarding - One Dog Family at a Time - Secure Garden - WFH Hi, I'm Maria, and I live with my wife Helen and our teenage sons in the beautiful village of Handcross, near Haywards Heath. For many years, our home revolved around our much-loved cockapoo, Sox. After recently saying goodbye to him, we're not quite ready for another dog of our own, but we really miss having a furry companion around the house and would love to share our home, care and affection with your dog. One thing that makes our care a little different is that we only welcome dogs from one family at a time. This means your dog won't have to compete for attention or share their space with lots of unfamiliar dogs. Instead, they'll enjoy a calm, relaxed environment with plenty of one-to-one care and affection. Having cared for Sox from puppyhood through to his senior years, including supporting him with mobility issues and medication, we're experienced in caring for dogs at every stage of life. We're both home during the day, so your dog will rarely be left alone and will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention and love throughout their stay. We know how important it is to feel confident when leaving your dog in someone else's care. That's why we'll take the time to get to know their routine, personality and individual needs, helping them settle in at their own pace. Whether your dog loves long countryside walks and adventures or prefers a cosy spot on the sofa and plenty of cuddles, we'll make sure they feel safe, happy and completely at home. Your dog will have free run of our home and be treated as one of the family, just as Sox always was. We have a secure enclosed garden and are surrounded by beautiful countryside, woodland trails and private estate grounds, offering plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment and lots of sniff-filled adventures. We'll also keep you updated with messages and photos during your dog's stay, so you can relax knowing they're happy, settled and being well looked after. We can't wait to meet you and welcome your dog into our home-from-home. 🐾 We’re used to having a dog who enjoyed at least three walks a day, and as we’re both at home, we have plenty of time and flexibility to follow your dog’s usual routine. We offer a calm, safe home from home where your dog is treated like part of the family. Lots of one to one attention without other unfamiliar dogs around 🐾 We would like to keep everything familiar for them, including walks, feeding times, rest and any little extras like medication or special care.

About: ⭐ Star Sitter Home-from-Home Pet Care in Horsham We provide a calm, home-from-home environment for friendly dogs needing day care, overnight stays, or holiday care. Plus cat care in your own home. Dogs stay with us as part of family life and enjoy plenty of companionship, enrichment, exercise, and affection. For cats and small pets, we offer drop-in visits and care in the comfort of their own home, helping to maintain their usual routine while you’re away. We have experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, including those requiring medication or additional support. Our care is particularly well suited to friendly companion breeds, smaller dogs, and pets who enjoy a relaxed, family environment. We both absolutely love animals and have always had pets in our lives. We each currently have our own dogs—a small Cavapoo and a Shih Tzu—so we truly understand how much pets mean as part of the family. Between us, we have many years of experience with dogs, cats and small animals, including rabbits. We understand that every pet is different, and we always take the time to get to know their individual routines, personalities and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for. I work on a freelance basis so have a flexible schedule which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Working alongside me is my friend Teresa who works within a school, who has regular free time in the school holidays, weekends and after school, meaning between us we can offer consistent, reliable care. We each have fully enclosed gardens with plenty of space for dogs to run around, explore and enjoy being outside safely. We both grew up with dogs and cats and have continued caring for family pets over the years, as well as providing feeding visits and check-ins for others’. 🐾 We have experience with dogs and cats at all life stages, from playful puppies/kittens through to seniors, and understand the different levels of care, patience and reassurance they may need. One of our own cats was an indoor Bengal with additional needs, so we are confident administering medication and providing gentle, attentive and patient care, always tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, happiness and wellbeing are always our priority. We aim to provide a calm, reassuring presence so they feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away. We also offer reliable local walks and drop-in visits in the Horsham area, ideal for busy owners, workdays or holidays. We also have very close links to a vet surgery in the area and are able to help with transportation to Vets visits if needed. We’re always happy to send updates and photos, so you can feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in kind and capable hands 💛 🐾 Suitability & Home Environment We offer a calm, home-from-home environment and are best suited to small to medium sized, friendly, sociable dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and in a home setting. As we have our own dogs and may care for more than one at a time, we are not the right fit for dogs with aggressive behaviours or those who prefer to be the only pet. Having said that we never have more than 3 or 4 dogs at any one time to ensure we can give them the attention they deserve. We always arrange a meet & greet to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. If you’d like to have a chat or arrange a meet & greet, we’d love to hear from you 😊 Between us, we can cover all weekly pet care needs. As I work on a freelance basis, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care throughout the day. My colleague works within a school and has regular time off, including holidays, so between us we’re able to offer consistent, reliable cover across weekdays, evenings and weekends. This means we can be flexible to suit your needs and ensure your pets aren’t left without care or companionship. When caring for pets, whether in our home or the owner’s home, we always aim to keep things as calm, familiar and consistent as possible. We take the time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any specific needs, so they feel comfortable and settled. In the owner’s home, we respect their space and follow their pet’s normal routine closely, providing companionship, care and plenty of reassurance while they’re away. In our own homes, we offer a clean, safe and relaxed environment with fully enclosed gardens for secure outdoor time. We only take on a small number of pets so we can give them plenty of attention, care and supervision, making sure they feel at ease and well looked after. We’re also very happy to provide updates and photos, so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy, safe and in caring hands.

Growing up surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, I've always understood how important it is for pets to feel safe, happy, and loved-especially when their humans are away. 🐶What I Offer Whether it's playtime in the garden, long walks in the park, or cozy cuddles on the sofa, I tailor my care to suit each pet's unique personality and needs. I want every animal to feel loved, and every owner to feel completely at ease knowing their pet is in good hands. 📸 Peace of Mind I know how comforting it is to receive updates while you're away, so I always send regular photos and messages to keep you connected with your pet's day-to-day adventures. 🦮Experience & References I've looked after pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments, and I'm happy to provide references from other happy owners. Whether it's a playful puppy, a senior cat, or a spirited spaniel, I'm here to give them the love and attention they deserve. I currently work from 9am to 3pm Monday to Thursday. I would be available for home visits before 9am and after 3pm. Friday to Sunday and all school holidays i am available throughout the day! I will follow your requirements for each and every pet. I would be happy to water plants, open or close windows and curtains, clean out litter boxes, feed and water bowls. All while giving your pet some love and attention!

James is very reliable, friendly, and knowledgeable about dogs’ behaviour. Dogs are his passion. He deeply cares about them, and I know that I can trust him with my 8 months old german shepherd puppy Roxy. He has been helping me to overcome Roxy’s car anxiety and already on our second session Roxy behaved much calmer in the car. I know I can rely on James that he will take a good care of Roxy when I go to work.

About: I’ve had my retriever ‘Lady’ since December 2021 and she has been a welcome addition to our lives, I enjoy taking her on long walks especially with other dogs where she can socialise. I love animals and have had both dogs and cats all my life. I’ve now got the facility and time to be able to look after others and so I am opening my home up for pet sitting. I also have a cat Simba who is an old boy, his brother lives with my mum and Simba spends time between both houses. When he is here he is friendly and good around dogs (he mainly ignores them and finds somewhere quiet where they aren’t) I’m available to look after dogs from 9am-6pm Mon-Fri and weekends on request. This includes boarding. I am able to come to your home and feed your pets and I am available for dog walking Mon- Sun I have a fenced back garden, that has a locked gate for your dog to run around in. My home is close to lots of fields for dogs to run around in and there are many nice long walks. My home is open to any animals within my care and I am happy to accommodate particular requests - crating, feeding, continue any training that you have. In my home I do not allow dogs upstairs, Lady sleeps downstairs and dogs that board will need to be able to sleep downstairs to. I am happy to take un-neutered males but I cannot provide a service for them if they a. Mark around my home b. Try to dominate/hump my female dog a lot. I am also happy to care for female dogs in season providing I don’t have any un- neutered male dogs boarding.

About: l've grown up with dogs my entire life and have many years of experience providing trusted house sitting for friends, family, and neighbours. I currently own a miniature dachshund, so l truly understand how important routine, reassurance, and companionship are for pets while their owners are away. My approach is calm, attentive, and tailored to each individual animal - from energetic puppies to older pets needing gentler care. I provide plenty of affection, enrichment, playtime, and either one-to-one walks or optional social time with my friendly dog. I have experience with a wide variety of breeds, as well as cats, and I hold a valid DBS, offering extra peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I'm able to offer flexible, attentive house sitting that prioritises your pet's normal lifestyle. I plan my time around feeding schedules, walks, play, and downtime, ensuring your pet receives consistent companionship rather than rushed visits. My goal is to provide a seamless, stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I take safety, trust, and comfort extremely seriously. When caring for pets in your home, l follow all instructions closely, maintain routines, and ensure pets are always secure and supervised appropriately.
