About: ⭐ Star Sitter Home-from-Home Pet Care in Horsham We provide a calm, home-from-home environment for friendly dogs needing day care, overnight stays, or holiday care. Dogs stay with us as part of family life and enjoy plenty of companionship, enrichment, exercise, and affection. For cats and small pets, we offer drop-in visits and care in the comfort of their own home, helping to maintain their usual routine while you’re away. We have experience caring for cats of all ages, including those requiring medication or additional support. Our care is particularly well suited to friendly companion breeds, smaller dogs, and pets who enjoy a relaxed, family environment. We both absolutely love animals and have always had pets in our lives. We each currently have our own dogs—a small Cavapoo and a Shih Tzu—so we truly understand how much pets mean as part of the family. Between us, we have many years of experience with dogs, cats and small animals, including rabbits. We understand that every pet is different, and we always take the time to get to know their individual routines, personalities and little quirks so they feel comfortable, safe and well cared for. I work on a freelance basis so have a flexible schedule which allows me to give pets plenty of time, attention and companionship throughout the day. Working alongside me is my friend Teresa who works within a school, who has regular free time in the school holidays, weekends and after school, meaning between us we can offer consistent, reliable care. We each have fully enclosed gardens with plenty of space for dogs to run around, explore and enjoy being outside safely. We both grew up with dogs and cats and have continued caring for family pets over the years, as well as providing feeding visits and check-ins for others’. 🐾 We have experience with dogs and cats at all life stages, from playful puppies/kittens through to seniors, and understand the different levels of care, patience and reassurance they may need. One of our own cats was an indoor Bengal with additional needs, so we are confident administering medication and providing gentle, attentive and patient care, always tailored to each animal’s individual needs. Your pet’s comfort, happiness and wellbeing are always our priority. We aim to provide a calm, reassuring presence so they feel safe, settled and loved while you’re away. We also offer reliable local walks and drop-in visits in the Horsham area, ideal for busy owners, workdays or holidays. We also have very close links to a vet surgery in the area and are able to help with transportation to Vets visits if needed. We’re always happy to send updates and photos, so you can feel completely at ease knowing your pet is in kind and capable hands 💛 🐾 Suitability & Home Environment We offer a calm, home-from-home environment and are best suited to small to medium sized, friendly, sociable dogs who are comfortable around other dogs and in a home setting. As we have our own dogs and may care for more than one at a time, we are not the right fit for dogs with aggressive behaviours or those who prefer to be the only pet. Having said that we never have more than 3 or 4 dogs at any one time to ensure we can give them the attention they deserve. We always arrange a meet & greet to ensure everyone is happy and comfortable. If you’d like to have a chat or arrange a meet & greet, we’d love to hear from you 😊 Between us, we can cover all weekly pet care needs. As I work on a freelance basis, I have a flexible schedule which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets in my care throughout the day. My colleague works within a school and has regular time off, including holidays, so between us we’re able to offer consistent, reliable cover across weekdays, evenings and weekends. This means we can be flexible to suit your needs and ensure your pets aren’t left without care or companionship. When caring for pets, whether in our home or the owner’s home, we always aim to keep things as calm, familiar and consistent as possible. We take the time to understand each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any specific needs, so they feel comfortable and settled. In the owner’s home, we respect their space and follow their pet’s normal routine closely, providing companionship, care and plenty of reassurance while they’re away. In our own homes, we offer a clean, safe and relaxed environment with fully enclosed gardens for secure outdoor time. We only take on a small number of pets so we can give them plenty of attention, care and supervision, making sure they feel at ease and well looked after. We’re also very happy to provide updates and photos, so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy, safe and in caring hands.

About: My mum and I have lived with dogs and cats are whole lives. We have a sausage dog named Charlie who is the beloved baby of the family. We also have two cats: Lola and Leo. Charlie and the cats gets along wonderfully with small dogs- the more little doggos around, the merrier! We provide a calm, cozy, and pet-friendly environment where your dog will be treated like family. My mum and I both work from home, so there will always be someone around to give your dog attention, playtime, and regular toilet breaks. I’ll be starting my Master’s program in September, but she’ll be happily continuing with dog sitting while I study. Our fenced garden offers a safe space for outdoor time, and Charlie enjoys popping in and out through the cat flap. I’ll be home everyday to take the dogs for walks if desired and give them plenty of playtime and cuddles. About: Lifelong animal empath & carer with animal communicator & reiki trainings with kids very able to manage animals. Caring for all forms of beings with respect to thier rights as individuals. I'm currently self employed with Yoga & reiki offerings. Able to adapt schedule to pet care with only school pick up and drop off routines set in my day. Pets are welcomed and treated as family members. They have full run of the house and can be kept exclusively indoors if needed. Pets welcomed on furntiure & beds at night. Lots of unfenced outdoor space possible to explore both off-leash if suitable or leashed walks. A smaller fenced outdoor garden space if needed for extra safety. Plenty of public footpath trails easily accessible & walks available daily.

About: I have grown up with dogs since childhood and absolutely love the benefits they bring. From looking after family pets to months worth of animal handling placements I am grateful to have a wealth of experience and knowledge with different animals. I am a 4th year University student studying Veterinary Medicine and living at home. My weekly routine may change depending on my timetable and other work commitments. Please don’t hesitate to enquire even if my calendar is blocked out as I may still be able to cater for you and your dogs needs. I have a secure fenced garden and am happy to walk on or off lead depending on the dog. I can cater for more nervous dogs by avoiding certain places and situations and have experience dealing with this.

About: Aswell as having my own dog and growing up with dogs, I have assisted my mum with her pet care services business in 2017, looking after customers best friends if she wasn’t able too. I’ve also helped on dog walks and pop ins for dogs and cats. I work from home 99% of the time and for that 1%, I get plenty of notice if I’m needed elsewhere. With my own woof Lily, we go out for a walk in the morning before I log on, out at lunchtime and then the evening again depending on our plans! I have a suitable garden size for toilet breaks and ball play. I also work full time hours over 4 days so off work Friday to Sunday. I have a fenced and gated garden, we have room for a crate of needed and will have a stair gate to separate access between upstairs and downstairs. About: Ive been caring for dogs of every kind and size since I was 12. My family, neighbours and friends have relied on my walking, feeding and bathing their pets with their routines for their furry pets. I’ve cared for Huskies, Chihuahuas, Labradoodles, French bulls. I have recently got my own dog, a miniature dachshund. I’m currently working part-time and have an extremely flexible schedule. About: I’ve always lived with dogs.Im so happy to be with them; whether I’m walking or playing fetch or feeding them . I have brought up puppies and loved and lost senior dogs too but they’re all so special in their own ways. I have time every week day and some Saturdays to look after your furry hound .whether they need a run in the garden and a play . Or some dinner or just a comfort hug . If I come to your home I will obviously check doors and gates are closed before letting your dog out . I will feed them the correct amount of food it requires and give it my full attention.

About: I’ve had my retriever ‘Lady’ since December 2021 and she has been a welcome addition to our lives, I enjoy taking her on long walks especially with other dogs where she can socialise. I love animals and have had both dogs and cats all my life. I’ve now got the facility and time to be able to look after others and so I am opening my home up for pet sitting. I also have a cat Simba who is an old boy, his brother lives with my mum and Simba spends time between both houses. When he is here he is friendly and good around dogs (he mainly ignores them and finds somewhere quiet where they aren’t) I’m available to look after dogs from 9am-6pm Mon-Fri and weekends on request. This includes boarding. I am able to come to your home and feed your pets and I am available for dog walking Mon- Sun I have a fenced back garden, that has a locked gate for your dog to run around in. My home is close to lots of fields for dogs to run around in and there are many nice long walks. My home is open to any animals within my care and I am happy to accommodate particular requests - crating, feeding, continue any training that you have. In my home I do not allow dogs upstairs, Lady sleeps downstairs and dogs that board will need to be able to sleep downstairs to. I am happy to take un-neutered males but I cannot provide a service for them if they a. Mark around my home b. Try to dominate/hump my female dog a lot. I am also happy to care for female dogs in season providing I don’t have any un- neutered male dogs boarding.

About: I’ve loved animals ever since I was young, but my first real hands-on pet care experience began 15 years ago with my black Labrador puppy, Buttons. I trained and cared for her throughout her life until she sadly passed away last year. We had 14 years of fun together - walks, cuddles and plenty of mischief.
