About: We’ve had dogs our whole lives and now have our own little fur baby, Hiccup. We love watching pups gain trust and feel at home during their stay with us. Before moving to the UK in 2020, we spent over three years dog-sitting in South Africa. Now, we continue pursuing our passion for animals by caring for dogs together, with Hiccup as our friendly sidekick. We promise to treat your furry friends as if they were our own, with endless kindness, cuddles, and love. 💕🐾 A normal day in our life with Hiccup: wake up then feed him & take him for a quick walk. Play at lunchtime then evening walk and dinner We have a back garden which is fully enclosed so it’s very safe for the dogs to enjoy. Hiccup spends several hours out there enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.

About: I own Sandy Paws Brighton, a pet care and dog walking business, I am insured, DBS checked and trained in dog first aid. I provide GPS trackers for your dog’s safety and peace of mind. I work around my family. I have a schedule as I like to be organised, solo walks and are 30 minutes or an hour between 7am- 9am 12pm-2pm. Pop ins will be around the same time. Group walks are 9am-12am 2pm-4pm. I provide pop ins as a service to go in and feed your pet, let them out to the toilet or give them some loving. For overnight stays I provide a two night stay maximum in your home.

About: I grew up on a farm, my family have always had dogs and I have been involved in the caring of our animals. I truly enjoy their company. I’ve dog sat regularly for three parson russell’s as well as many other dogs with different needs. I have helped with raising litters of puppies as well as caring for our elderly dogs. We have experience with nervous dogs or dogs that prefer to avoid other dogs. I have also spent some time working on a sheep farm so have some experience with working dogs. We send regular photos and videos during your booking to give you peace of mind. I work from home, as does my partner Ryan, so there should always be someone home with your dog. We can do longer walks before or after work and can accommodate shorter walks and play during the working day. Calendar is generally up to date but do ask to check :) We have a small but secure garden in Hove and live near the beach and Hove Park for walks. No other pets or children in the house. Non-smoking. Your pets safety and security will always be put first.

About: Hey I'm Harriette, I'm 29 and a long term dog lover! I've spent the past 10 years looking after family and friends pups, from babies to 16+! I pride myself on giving my dogs a happy and healthy life with lots of fun walks and healthy treats to keep them going! I currently work part time at the coffee trailer over the foot bridge at the river Adur! I am available to look after your furry friends Monday - Thursday any time! And Fridays after 4. I am currently on foot when walking your pets but am looking into getting a windowed van with crates fitted in the back to keep your pups safe! I have a level 3 Diploma in dog first aid.

About: Hi I’m Lorna, I work in the charity and well-being space and recently moved to Shoreham a few months ago. Over the past 8 years I have developed a huge love for dogs and the dream is to have one of my own one day. For now, I’m looking to meet and care for as many dogs as possible and help out where I can, giving them company, walks, love and attention to help make them feel as happy as possible. I love walking, exploring nature and being outdoors so could spend hours outside strolling with your pooch. Being a yoga teacher I have a calming nature and just love being around dogs, I think everyone should have one in their life, they are so good for wellbeing. I have done numerous accounts of dog sitting over the past few years for a friends 2 staffs and more recently many dog walks and sitting for a family members Mastiff. I also regularly walk a lovely Bichon Frise, so have experience caring for dogs both big and small. I would look after your dog like my own, so please drop me a line if you'd like me to help :) I'm currently self employed, growing my own wellness business whilst working part time at my local charity shop so I have a couple of afternoons free every week to spend time with your pooch. Communication is key when looking after your dog in your home. About: I’ve always had animals at the centre of my life, and caring for them comes naturally to me. Over the years I’ve walked my friends’ dogs regularly and looked after a wide range of animals including horses, cats, tortoises and ducks. I’ve even gained hands-on experience working at an animal sanctuary in Australia, which strengthened my understanding of animal care and responsibility. I currently have three cats of my own, so I know just how important it is to trust someone with your pets. While I’m not able to have a dog full-time, Rover gives me the perfect opportunity to spend time with them and provide the same love, care and attention I give my own pets. I take real pride in looking after animals and will always treat yours as if they were my own. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine as I already care for my three cats every day, including feeding, grooming, play, litter maintenance, and monitoring their wellbeing. I also work flexibly from home, which allows me to easily fit pet care around my schedule and be present throughout the day. On a weekly basis, I also help look after friends’ pets when needed, including dog walking and cat sitting, so I’m experienced in balancing additional responsibilities alongside my routine. Because I genuinely enjoy being around animals, I naturally prioritise their care and make sure I’m attentive, reliable, and consistent whenever I’m looking after them. I will need to look after animals in the pet owners home. I follow the pet’s established routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and secure in their familiar environment. I take time to understand their specific needs, habits, and preferences, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, and any medication or special care instructions. I always aim to provide calm, attentive, and respectful care, treating every pet as if they were my own while ensuring their home is left clean, tidy, and exactly as found.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and my family have re-homed various pets over the years. I also have experience in looking after puppies and kittens. I am kind and patient and am able to spot when a pet may be anxious or stressed. I work from home a few times a week and so am able to walk dogs or let pets out for a toilet break most days. I live locally and am also able to stay over to pet or house sit if required. My garden is secure and I have experience looking after all types of breeds including small, medium and large dogs. I live close to a large field which is generally quiet and is perfect for dogs to run around in.

About: Cats and Dogs have been a part of my life since I was a child. I had a cat growing up and she lived until 22! My preference as an adult now, is Dogs however. Although I have not owned one myself (something my husband and I plan to remedy ASAP), I have lots of experience taking care of dogs. One of my previous partners had 5! I want every dog we look after to feel comfortable, at home and have a great time! I have recently been made redundant, so am not working. At the moment, I am free most days, all of the day, with the odd pre-arranged plans. We have a partly fenced shared garden but 2 big parks within 5 minutes walking distance. We are on the ground floor, so quick loo breaks are extremely simple. Although overall, a small-ish flat, there are plenty of places for quiet and alone time as well as being able to cuddle and chill on the sofas when needed.

About: I’ve had pets all my life from my cat who I had for 18 years to my dog that I’ve had for nearly 8 years I have worked with my dog to help me become a dog massager for my university course that I did I have full training in EMMI-pet teeth cleaning and am a qualified dog groomer I work for an agency so do find out when I am needed for work at the beginning of a week that is why it would be great to be given notice of pet sitting so that I can give you and your pets my time I will keep everything out of reach of your dog and would send you regular pictures of your pets while you away to give you peace of mind that they are looked after

About: Hi, I’m Callie, a huge animal lover based in Hove, with over 24 years of experience caring for pets of all shapes and sizes. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals including dogs, cats, chickens, horses, guinea pigs and more, so I understand how much love, patience, routine and attention goes into keeping pets happy, healthy and comfortable. I’ve been using Rover for over 4 years now and absolutely love it. Over that time I’ve cared for a wide range of dogs and cats with all sorts of personalities and needs from energetic puppies chewing everything in sight to big affectionate dogs who think they’re lap dogs! I’m very calm, adaptable and genuinely enjoy getting to know each animal individually. As well as Rover, I volunteered at a dog sanctuary in Guatemala while travelling through Central America, helping care for rescue dogs day-to-day. I’ve also done longer-term dog sitting while travelling, including month-long stays, so I’m very comfortable maintaining routines and helping pets feel settled and secure while their owners are away. I’m equally a cat person too! My sister has two very demanding, very characterful cats who I regularly help care for, so I’m used to independent personalities, different feeding routines, playtime, cuddles on their terms, and all the little quirks that come with cats. I’m physically fit, active, and love being outdoors, so I genuinely enjoy long walks and making sure dogs get plenty of exercise, stimulation and attention. I also have experience administering medication to both dogs and cats, and understand the importance of patience, trust and consistency when caring for animals with additional needs. I know how important it is finding someone trustworthy to look after your pets and house, and I always try to make animals feel as relaxed, loved and cared for as possible while you’re away. I am currently working with a 7 days on 7 days off schedule. So am often available for a week at a time, which would be ideal for clients who need a sitter while on holiday. I am flexible and adaptive to fit your pets needs and routine. I have found the best way to create a good connection and trust between both myself and the dog and myself and the owner is to arrange a pre meet so I can come and meet your dog/ pets make sure we get on, while you talk me though their needs and how to take care of your house too!
